    Living By Faith PT. 2

This message teaches that the gospel is good news and emphasizes living daily by grace through faith, based on the finished work of Jesus. Using 2 Corinthians 5:7 and Hebrews 11:1, Pastor Al explains that “sight” refers to the five senses and that believers must leave the sense realm and perceive the unseen realities of God’s Spirit realm. Faith comes by continually hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17), and the Word and faith are presented as inseparable—God’s Word provides evidence and conviction for what cannot be sensed. Illustrations include TV signal receivers. Pastor Al explains that God's Word is a “guide” to God’s promises including healing and provision. This message also draws from 2 Kings 6, where Elisha’s servant’s eyes are opened to see angelic hosts, emphasizing that what is needed is already present and perceived by faith.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

    Living By Faith PT. 1

Pastor Al teaches on living and walking by faith, focusing on how spiritual warfare is fought in the mind. Using Jesus’ response to temptation in Luke 4, he urges believers to replace negative thoughts with the Word. He encourages believers to reject condemnation, forgive themselves, and remember they are already forgiven in Christ. From 2 Corinthians 10 he explains that believers’ weapons have divine power to pull down mental strongholds, and he contrasts the seen, temporary realm with the unseen, eternal spirit realm (2 Corinthians 4:18; 5:7).He emphasizes continual hearing of the Word (Romans 10:17), clarifies that grace has already provided everything through the cross, and that faith simply receives. He explains what the word of faith is.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

    The Holy Spirit, Our Helper

Pastor Al shares a brief teaching on how to activate angels in your life. He explains that the Holy Spirit is “another Helper” like Jesus—who dwells in believers forever. He shares that the Holy Spirit does not condemn believers, explaining from John 16 that the Holy Spirit does not convict the believer of their sins. He explains what the Holy Spirit convicts the world of vs. what He convicts the believer of. He shares that there is no condemnation for those in Christ.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

    Bible Prosperity vs.The Prosperity Gospel

Pastor Al contrasts true Bible prosperity with the “prosperity gospel.” He emphasizes that there’s only one gospel, and there is no such thing as the “prosperity gospel.” However, God desires for us to prosper. He explains what success is. Pastor Al clarifies that money itself isn’t wrong and discusses the problems with the love of money. He provides practical advice on workplace promotion.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

    You Are Enough

In this message titled “You Are Enough,” Pastor Al teaches that believers are complete in Christ and lack nothing through their union with Him, emphasizing a simple but life-changing mindset shift. From Colossians 2:9–10, 2 Peter 1:3, and John 6:35, he shares that Christians already have all they need and should live “God-inside minded,” not striving in their own strength. He explains Spirit-filled living, including speaking in tongues as a means of personal growth. He contrasts having faith in His ability to produce fruit through you rather than relying on self-effort. From John 15, he describes Jesus as the true vine and believers as branches who bear fruit naturally by abiding, clarifying that “take away” means God lifts up and helps unfruitful branches. He explains that Christ joined to each person’s unique personality is enough for anything in life.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

  13. 158

    Overcoming Sin

In this message continuing a series on “chilling with God,” Pastor Al teaches that believers can relax in God’s unconditional love because they are righteous through Jesus’ obedience, not their own.He explains that the “flesh” is an ungodly way of thinking in the soul, while the believer’s spirit is made new at salvation, and he frames “sin” as a noun—an invading, person-like “parasite” and Satan’s “asset” that plants tempting thoughts.Using examples like porn, bitterness, resentment, and distrust in marriage, he shares that believers are not the source of sinful thoughts and should stop identifying themselves as dirty or condemned. The solution is renewing the mind, taking thoughts captive (2 Cor. 10:5), resisting lies regardless of volume or frequency, and answering temptation with Scripture, remembering believers are God’s workmanship and as Christ is, so are they in this world.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

  14. 157

    Understanding the Flesh

Pastor Al explains why believers have sinful thoughts. He defines “the flesh” (sarx) not as the physical body but as an old way of thinking—residual “software” trained by the former nature. Drawing from Romans 8, Galatians 5, Colossians 2, and other passages, he describes the flesh as a way of thinking, self-effort, and rule-based religion. He explains that the answer is to renew the mind with God's Word, walk by the Spirit, and rely on grace and God's power for growth.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

    You're Already Alright

Pastor Al teaches that Christianity is simple but often misunderstood due to tradition and “miseducation,” challenging phrases like “die to yourself,” “all of You and none of me,” and “He must increase and I must decrease.” Using scriptures such as Romans 6, Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 2:6, and 1 John 4:17, he shares that believers are already crucified with Christ, dead to sin and the law, and are a new creation in their spirit with God’s nature and the Holy Spirit within. He clarifies “I die daily” refers to Paul facing danger, not self-denial. The focus is renewing the mind to match the new identity, illustrated by metamorphosis, with simple steps: remember who you are in Christ, enjoy life, repeat.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

Embracing Grace: Living Right Without the Law

In this episode of the “Chilling with God” series, Pastor Al contrasts religious striving with the new covenant of grace, teaching that believers are not under the law (including the Ten Commandments) but are dead to it through Christ. He explains that the law is holy and still exists, yet its purpose is to act as a tutor to lead people to Christ. He shares that seeking trying to keep the law makes Christ ineffective, while grace leads to fruitfulness and Spirit-led living. He addresses the consequences of disobedience under the Old Covenant vs. the New Covenant.00:56 Chilling With God02:40 The Law Doesn't Stop Sinning04:46 Law Brings Condemnation07:56 Dead To The Law09:19 The Purpose Of The Law11:58 Eden And Self Effort15:56 Fallen From Grace17:08 Law Still Stands18:20 Law As A Mirror20:24 Romans 2 and Conscience21:20 Sin Nature vs Behavior23:21 Law Was A Tutor24:43 Led by the Spirit26:11 The Law Is For The Righteous28:05 New Covenant Commands30:49 How To Love In The New Covenant35:47 Consequences Not Punishment39:16 Wisdom and Fruit40:09 Dating and BreakupsConnect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

    What Jesus’ Death Meant

Pastor Al teaches that Jesus’ death and resurrection are one package and shares that many churches still mix the old and new covenants by urging believers to keep the Ten Commandments, despite the full law totaling 613 commands and James 2:10 stating failure in one point makes one guilty of all. Citing John 19:30, he says “It is finished” means the law ended at Jesus’ death, and uses Hebrews 9 to argue the New Testament (a “will/testament”) begins at death, not Jesus’ birth. He shares that preaching the law is harmful because “the power/strength of sin is the law” (1 Cor. 15:56) and the law increases trespass, while the new covenant brings transformation, not behavior modification. He shares that justification is by faith apart from the law (Acts 13:39; Rom. 3:28; Gal. 2:16; 3:11), warns reliance on law brings a curse, critiques manmade rules (Col. 2:20–23), and that the Bible calls the Ten Commandments a “ministry of death” and “condemnation” (2 Cor. 3), concluding freedom from sin comes apart from the law (Rom. 7:8).00:00 Why Jesus’ Death Matters00:29 You Can’t Keep the Law02:49 It Is Finished Explained03:42 When the New Testament Starts08:13 Law Fuels Sin12:52 New Covenant Begins at Death15:59 Single Offering or Sin16:30 Old Mindset vs Grace17:45 Adam vs Jesus20:52 Living from the Finish Line22:01 Sin Erased22:25 No More Sin Consciousness24:30 Law Fuels Sin25:14 Justified By Faith26:52 Curse Of Lawkeeping29:13 Preach Good News30:55 Manmade Church Rules35:09 Law As Condemnation37:50 Religion Treadmill Trap41:07 Freedom Apart From LawConnect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support

    Chillin’ With God PT. 1

Pastor Al teaches from Mark 11:24 that believers should ask once in prayer, then thank God because faith believes it is done. He shares from Romans 14:23 and the wilderness story that unbelief is sin—linking sin, rebellion, disobedience, and an “evil report” to refusing God’s promise. He emphasizes that Jesus’ cross was “one and done,” forgiving sins for all time, and claims 1 John 1:9 is addressed to unbelievers, not Christians.. He warns that asking God to forgive again is unbelief. The message contrasts old-covenant law mentality (earning approval) with new-covenant grace, citing Hebrews, 2 Corinthians 5:19, and Ephesians to say sins are not counted, the Holy Spirit will not leave you, the law brings death/condemnation, and believers are freed and justified through Jesus.Connect with Me!Daily Devotional https://www.summitonline.church/devotionalWebsitehttps://www.summitonline.churchInstagramhttps://www.instagram.com/draljenningsOnline Bible Study Coursehttps://www.summitonline.church/foundationLeave Me a Tiphttps://livingbygrace.captivate.fm/support
