    CORDON BAR TO CORDON BLEU

This is a special episode, not because it’s the sixth one of a very sexy third season but because it’s someone who I’ve wanted to mull over menus with ever since I read their book one cold and dark Lockdown night (#dramatic). I was going to make some terrible joke barristers and cakes for this episode but quite honestly guys punopedia failed me on this one so I will keep this intro traditional. Livvy Potts is the author of the award winning memoir ‘A Half Baked Idea ’ which follows her journey from criminal barrister to professional chef after her mothers death. If Livvy’s book taught me anything it’s that getting in the kitchen can sure as hell heal you in a difficult time. Enjoy!

    I'M ALL ABOUT THAT BASS

So we may not be entertaining guests right now but this guest is going to make you want to throw a big party, or be a fly on the wall at her dinner party. Alexandra Dudley is the host with the most, a freezer fanatic and as we soon found out an egg mayo lover (represent) . She also writes about food and hosting for everyone from Town and Country to Waitrose, and hosts her own wonderful podcast Come for Supper. Check out her equally wonderful Instagram here.

    99 PROBLEMS BUT A SWEETBREAD AIN'T ONE

Ever wondered who would be better crack to go for a beer with John or Greg of Materchef? Yeah, I ask myself this question all the time. Well, you need ask no longer because this week’s guest revealed all. Giovanna Ryan is a Masterchef finalist from 2017, and an actual master of a chef too! This episode is stuffed full of the disasters you don’t see on the TV show and lots of Italian food. Prego ( think that’s Italian for cool or something) Enjoy! You can visit Giovanna's Instagram page here.

    DON'T LOSE YOUR TEMPEH

I caught up with a real life Tik Tok sensation this week  (I know I’m so down with the kids!) .Callum aka Blitz, Is the man behind some super speedy super easy vegan meals. As I was doing Veganuary I thought it was the ideal time to grill him on plant based eating and basically how to make my meals as quick as him without breaking anything, which those of you that know me will know may be tricky. Jokes aside Veganuary went great and Callum’s nut roast recipe really slapped, so make sure you get on that. Big thank you to this week's sponsor and as always guys please  like share and subscribe to my pod baby it helps other people know that we’re around. See ya!

SEE THAT GIRL, WATCH THAT SCENE, DIG IN THE BAKING QUEEN

We are bake in business this week, quite literally with a ground baking new guest. Liberty Mendez is the best in the biz when it comes to baking . When she’s not throwing shapes to ABBA in the BBC good food kitchen shes the one behind the good stuff on BBC good food. Also we lift the lid on the perfect crunch to softness ratio in the sandwich and ask the all important question, is it wrong to crave egg mayonnaise. ( Answer: most definitely not). Big thank you to my lovely friends at Jobs Bored Podcast for sponsoring that episode. Go check 'em out! As always guys, please like, share, review and subscribe to my pod baby  it helps others know we exist and may even bring you good karma ,because we all need some of that. See ya!

'TIS THE SEASON TO GET TROLLIED

They say never work with children animals or your mother. But obviously when looking for Christmas cooking tips we had to go straight to the mothership , queen of the aga and professional gin quaffer aka my mother. Don’t worry if you don’t know what an aga is you definitely on twenty mins time . Trust me this episodes like the John Lewis Christmas advert on steroids. Enjoy! Outro: hope

    THE S**T FOOD PHOTOGRAPHER

This title is deceiving as our guest's food this week is some of the most delicious I've ever seen. This week we have a cover star! No really , we asked a BBC good food cover star what it takes to get your recipe into the glossies and can you airbrush a sticky toffee pudding? ( short answer: not really). We asked Sophie Goodwin ( aka Soph on a plate ) what we really should be putting on our plate - whilst getting the lowdown on the new MOB kitchen book: speedy mob of which Sophie is one of the superfast contributors .Get your watches ready because this ones gonna be quick! Your support is always appreciated and if you had a moment I would LOVE it if you could leave me a review (preferably good). YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT WHEN YOU'RE WATCHING THE TELLY

So whilst we were eating our way through these unprecedented ( if I here that word one more time I’m going to scream) time chances are you were watching some great telly whilst chewing. This week I asked all of YOU what you’ve been watching. Thank you for all your responses my tv is sorted for another 6 months. And I drafted in the big guns Mr TV himself and my lockdown partner in crime Danny to help me separate the good the bad and the terrible accents when it comes to TV and food combos because you are what you eat when ur watching telly. Enjoy! Your support is always appreciated and if you had a moment I would LOVE it if you could leave me a review (preferably good). This week we bring you a Lockdown Larder first - a food influencer who’s shit at cooking . Yes really. You’ve probably seen What Willy Cooks prancing around on the Mob kitchen Instagram or heard his hilarious cooking tutorials which exploded to over 80 thounsand followers in Lockdown, even better you might have cooked his no fuss sexy looking food yourself! This is what happened when Izzy met Willy and found out how you can really take the stressipes out of recipes ( is that not just the BEST slogan EVER?!) and what herbs make up a lockdown kitchen partAY. Enjoy! Your support is always appreciated and if you had a moment I would LOVE it if you could leave me a review (preferably good). THE NOTORIOUS B.L.T

We might all love rolling out of bed and straight into our home office , but lunchbreaking at home can kindaa boring nowdays and as a nation we all  love a packed lunch . For those of you missing your tinfoil sandwich this week I spoke to the king of the lunchtime essential: Xandwich. From Crouch end to Croydon this man has eaten every filling and bread combination in London, massing up over 20 thousand followers in 4 years-that’s a lot of baguettes. Stay tuned to find out how many sandwiches you really have to eat to become an influencer, what the worst supermarket sandwich EVER and what Izzy’s drunk sandwich of choice is? ( that’s me by the way). Enjoy! Your support is always appreciated and if you had a moment I would LOVE it if you could leave me a review (preferably good). NOTHING YOU'VE EVER HERBIVORE

This week we have nothing short of vegan royalty on the podcast! Jenna is the brains behind the amazing Dirty Vegazine and the infamous burger league (if you haven't heard of it I suggest you take a look for the best meat free burgers EVER). We chatted influencer culture, cheese and baked bean toasties and drunk kitchen appliance purchases. Oh and she only went and told us her London vegan spots that are hotter than a Greggs vegan sausage roll. Enjoy! Dirty Vegazine (blog) (Instagram)

    SOCIALLY DISTANCED HUNGRILY CLOSE

We've got a double whammy for you today with not one but two foodie powerhouses sharing their socially distanced dinner table secrets. Katie and Francesca are foodies, flatmates, isolation buddies and since locdown began podcast hosts. They share recipes and other recommendations on their brilliant podcast 'Socially Distant Spiritually close'. Hold onto your menus because this is a massive helping of food chat. We covered everything from being a furloughed hospitality worker in lockdown to a beginners guide to fermenting. This episode is sure to leave you feeling inspired- I have since hopped on the sourdough baking obsession since this episode began. Enjoy! * Please note this episode does have a little bit of ( well timed) cursing in so please be aware if you're listening with young children around! HELL'S KITCHEN

Ever wondered how the food bloggers have coped with the challenges lockdown has thrown at our kitchens? How can you test recipes when there's no food available -not to mention the influx of influencers in these times of home confinement. In this episode I spoke to food blogger Helena, better known as the proud owner of the delicious instagram page ‘Helena’s kitchen diaries’ Helena is always the hostess with the mostess I can vouch I’ve been one of her willing Guinea pigs for a number of years . I’m regularly calling upon her for recipe advice especially in lockdown and wanted other people to be able to access it too so we got together to chat all things instagram, ‘food porn culture’ and why her mother has been reminding her of anton ego from ratatouille. Enjoy! Show Notes! -Helena's Kitchen Diaries-https://bit.ly/3e7Wgrb - Tin Can Magic- By Jessica Elliott Dennison -https://amzn.to/3dVR6hH Izzy x
