Environmental detox
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Hey guys, welcome back to the Made for More Podcast!Today, we’re talking all about our environments and how they impact us. The noises, the voices, the visuals, the people, and all the things around us that can influence how we feel, think, and show up in our everyday lives.Because sometimes, we forget that we have a choice. We have an opportunity every single day to decide what we allow in, what we absorb, and what we give our attention to.Maybe it’s time for an environmental detox.Maybe there’s a friendship that’s draining you. Maybe it’s the noise you’re constantly consuming. Maybe it’s something you’re following online, a space you’re spending too much time in, or even a job that’s taking more from you than it’s giving back.Whatever it is, I want you to remember that you are allowed to create an environment that supports you, and taking care of yourself sometimes means unfollowing, removing, distancing, or simply deciding, “I don’t have to absorb this.”So today, let’s take a look at what’s around us, what we’re allowing into us, and whether it’s actually helping us become the person we’re trying to grow into.

Don’t miss it!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Today on the Made for More podcast, we’re talking about what it looks like to sit in a posture of reflection and gratitude. So often, we’re already moving on to our next thought, our next prayer, or our next goal. But when we don’t pause to reflect and remember all that God has provided and done throughout our stories, we can miss the beautiful reality that we’re already sitting in answered prayers. My hope is that today’s episode encouraged you to slow down, look back, and find gratitude within your own story and your walk of life.Sometimes, what we’re praying for is already something we get to thank God for!Xoxo-Miranda

Spoken word: miscarriage
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Welcome back to The Made For More podcast. Welcome to my first ever spoken word, and probably my most vulnerable share to date. I went through and carried this invisible pain and in a form of trying to process it I wrote and recorded my first ever spoken word. Part of me sharing this is part of me healing. Please listen and respond with care as you step into a real lived experience and am still carrying. I am so incredibly sorry if you relate to this is anyway and are walking through life carrying any type of invisible pain. Please know you are not alone and better days are ahead! With love, Miranda

Get Naked!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Welcome back to the Made for More podcast. In this episode, we’re talking about body image, self-awareness, and the disconnect so many of us feel between our mind and the body we live in. I’m sharing a simple but powerful tool that has helped me normalize the way I see myself, quiet negative inner dialogue, and build a healthier relationship with my body. This conversation is about learning to observe yourself with less judgment, more compassion, and creating a sense of familiarity instead of shame. If you’ve ever struggled with feeling uncomfortable in your own skin, this episode is for you.You were made for more than hating the body you are in!Xoxo- Miranda

How a lack of leadership made me a leader of myself
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Welcome back to The Made For More Podcast. In this episode, I’m sharing the real story behind why I walked away from a job I held for 11 years—and what it revealed about growth, leadership, creativity and self-worth.I found myself in an environment that felt stagnant, where opportunities were limited, creativity wasn’t encouraged, and leadership didn’t align with its words. Over time, that disconnect created a friction I couldn’t ignore. I started to realize something that changed everything: you can only grow as far as the person leading you… unless you decide to GO lead yourself! This episode is about recognizing when you’ve outgrown a space, the red flags in leadership that I ignored for too long, and how a lack of opportunity ultimately pushed me to become the leader I needed. If you’ve been feeling stuck, undervalued, or like there’s more in you that isn’t being tapped into because of the environment your in and the leadership you are under—then this conversation is for you!Sometimes growth doesn’t look like staying and pushing harder. Sometimes it looks like leaving, risking it all and taking what you learned to be and not to be and going to blaze a trail of your own.You were made for more than settling just because your environment has chosen to settle. Go out there and create your MORE!With love, Miranda

Redefining productivity
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Welcome to another Made for More Monday on the Made for More podcast. In this episode, we’re redefining what productivity actually means. Because productivity was never meant to be measured by exhaustion, overflowing to-do lists, or the pressure to do more just to feel worthy. Instead, we’re exploring a healthier standard—one where productivity is guided by intention, presence, and alignment with your real life, not an impossible pace.If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, stuck in “never enough,” or like your worth is tied to how much you can get done, this conversation is your reset. You were made for more than burnout—you were made for a life that feels full, not just busy.

More Life, Less Work: The Boundaries You’ve Been Avoiding!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Welcome to another Made for More Monday on the Made for More podcast. This episode is your wake-up call to take your life back from work. Somewhere along the way, we started believing that being busy means we’re doing something right—and that our job deserves unlimited access to our time, energy, and attention. But if you don’t set boundaries, work will take as much as you’re willing to give.In this episode, we’re talking about what it actually looks like to prioritize your life outside of work—mentally clocking out, setting clear cutoffs, and letting go of the pressure to always be “on.” This is your reminder that your life is meant to be lived, not just squeezed in after work is done.If you’ve been feeling stretched thin or like your job is taking more than it’s giving, this conversation will help you draw the line. More life and less work doesn’t happen by accident—it happens when you decide to protect your time, your energy, and the life you were made for.Love, Miranda

Buried not hidden
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Welcome back to the Made for More podcast. On this week’s episode, we’re diving into the truth that just because something is buried doesn’t mean it isn’t growing. We’re talking about the gifts, dreams, and visions planted deep within us, and what it looks like to keep tending to them even when all we see is dirt. This episode is your reminder that not all growth is visible, that roots grow before fruit, and that the unseen work in your life still matters. If you’ve been feeling discouraged, questioning your progress, or wondering if what you’re nurturing is ever going to take off, this conversation will encourage you to keep showing up, keep watering what’s planted, and trust that in time, a beautiful harvest will come. Because You were made for more, and you always have been. With love, Miranda Hammock

More than nothing: with your body, mind & serving others!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Welcome back to the Made for More podcast. This week, we’re diving into what it looks like to have a more than nothing mindset! We’re talking about two areas of life where this type of mindset can change everything:how we show up for our bodies through effort and discipline, and how we show up for the people around us through action and service.Growth doesn’t look like doing everything perfectly — it just looks like being a person who decides to take action rather than do nothing!Instead of waiting for the perfect routine, the perfect motivation, or the perfect timing, we choose to take one step. And instead of being the kind of people who say, “Let me know if you need anything,” we become the kind of people who show up, step in, serve and take action. So whether it’s caring for your body, building discipline, or serving others well, this episode is your reminder that more than nothing still matters — and often, it matters more than we realize.Because small steps toward immediate action is better than nothing!Xoxo- Miranda Hammock

Less is MORE!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Hey guys, welcome back to the Made for More podcast. On this week’s episode, we’re giving ourselves a permission slip to notice the everyday moments in our lives where we can find rest and restoration within our busy schedules. We’re also reminding ourselves that sometimes doing less is actually what gives us MORE!I want to break this cycle of feeling like we always have to chase hustle culture. Instead, I want to encourage us to stop idolizing being the busiest person in the room—the one who burns themselves out so completely that there’s no energy or time left for the things that matter to us the most.So consider this episode an awakening & an invitation to do things differently! To recognize that sometimes choosing to do less in certain areas actually allows us to experience MORE in the places that truly matter. In a world that celebrates doing the most, we’re choosing something different! Why? Because we were made for more, and we always have been!Xoxo- Miranda Hammock

Stop comparing- NOBODY has it easier than you!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Welcome back to the Made for More podcast — your space for personal development, self-reflection, growth, and stepping into the more you were created for.In this week’s episode, we’re diving into the topic of comparison and the quiet assumption we often make that everyone else has it easier — an easier story, an easier path, more motivation, or more access. We tend to look at the highlight reels of other people’s lives and celebrate their wins without ever seeing the behind-the-scenes work, sacrifice, and struggles that got them there. And when we do that, it can lead us to feeling discouraged, falling into self-pity, or making excuses that keep us stuck. The truth is — nobody has an easier story than you.Learning to catch this thought and ditch this narrative can release you from the grip of comparison, help you genuinely celebrate others, and empower you to stay in your own lane with confidence and purpose. My hope is that this episode reminds you that your journey matters, your pace is valid, and you were made for more — and you always have been.****If you enjoyed today’s episode, please consider leaving me a review on whatever platform you stream from. This helps the show get pushed out into the algorithm and it would mean so much to me and help me to continue to create content for us to grow together!

A life of legacy - honoring Otis Hammock
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback! One whole year since my father-in-law left this earth. One whole year of missing him.Today, I want to pause and honor a life marked by legacy. He was a simple man who valued simple, meaningful things—family, church, faith, and serving his community. And in that simplicity, he lived richly. His life is worth remembering and worth honoring. Sometimes, the absence of someone teaches us something deeply valuable. His legacy continues to remind us to stay centered, to remain focused on what truly matters, and to measure wealth not by what we accumulate, but by how we love, serve, and show up in the days we’re given.Otis Hammock, a man who made his “dash” on earth count!

Misunderstood
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback! There’s a unique kind of heaviness that comes from being misunderstood—especially when someone decides who you are or what you meant without ever giving you the chance to speak. In this episode, we talk about the quiet pain of not being heard, the frustration of feeling misjudged, and the exhausting habit of over-explaining or over-proving ourselves just to be accepted. This conversation is an invitation to release that weight. To loosen the grip of needing validation from people who may never be willing to understand. We’ll also gently turn the mirror inward and talk about what it looks like to acknowledge the moments when we may have misunderstood someone else—and how grace, humility, and reflection can bring freedom on both sides. If you’ve ever felt misread, mislabeled, or tired of carrying a narrative that isn’t yours, this episode is for you.

You can only grow as far as whoever is leading you!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Today I’m dropping a bonus episode, and this one is all about leadership and your potential. We’re taking a real, honest look at the people who are leading you—whether that’s in your workplace, your company, your team, or whatever position you’re in right now.Because here’s the truth: you can only be led as far as the person leading you is willing to go. Their capacity impacts your capacity. Their vision impacts your growth. Their ceiling often becomes the ceiling you’re asked to operate under. And in this episode, I want to help you understand how to recognize that, how to navigate it, and how to keep rising—even when your leadership may not be rising with you.Maybe for you this is your call to challenge the environment you’re in. Maybe for you this is a call to leave the company or career your in and go find new rooms.

Preparing our hearts for Thanksgiving
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback! This week, I’m inviting you into a conversation where we honor and create space for whatever emotions you’re carrying into Thanksgiving. Whether you’re feeling joy, grief, excitement, or a little bit of everything, this episode is a gentle way to prepare your heart for the days ahead.I’m also sharing some of my favorite, easy-to-make recipes to inspire your holiday table — plus a funny Thanksgiving memory that’ll make you laugh and remind you that every holiday looks a little different. Let’s navigate this season together.Bacon green beans 5 cans of cut green beansPack of bacon 2/3 cup brown sugar3/4 cup melted butter 1 clove garlic 3 tablespoons soy sauce Instructions Cook your bacon & break it up into pieces.Drain your green beans and place them into a 9x13 baking dish.Toss your bacon bites on top of the green beans.Mix together your topping which is melted butter, brown sugar and soy sauce and garlic. Once that mixture is together pour that mixture over the bacon green bean mixture. Bake uncovered for 40 min at 350 degrees.Boursin Brussels1 package of Boursin cheese. Use whatever flavor you want. Garlic and herb works great but I am on the hunt for the hot honey one. In a greased dish smash down the Boursin cheese into an even layer. Then take your Brussels: washed and cut into halves and place the cut side down onto the cheese. It’s ok if they overlap or if you have loose leaves. Just toss it all on top but make sure the loose leaves are coated with olive oil because these will be your most crispy pieces.Once all Brussels are face down on the cheese you will little drizzle and massage them with olive oil then salt, pepper, garlic to your liking. Bake in the oven for 25-30 min in a 400 degree oven or until crispy.Once you pull the dish out of the oven drizzle with hot honey. Honey corn bread2 boxes of honey corn bread jiffy mix Follow the instructions on the back of the box. Add in 1 can of sweet cream corn.Melt a stick of butter and add it into your mixture.Bake in the oven for 30-45 min at 400 degrees. This one takes longer in the oven because it’s so dense. This is not your traditional dry corn bread. This is more like a sweetened spoon bread.Perfect portion brownies 2 boxes of whatever flavor brownie mix you would like1 bag of thin Reese’s.Grease a muffin pan. Mix up brownie mix according to the box. Dollop a small amount of brownie mix into the bottom of a muffin pan then add the thin Reesie‘s cup then fill with remaining brownie batter. And bake! You can sub the Reesie’s cup for an Oreo or a Hershey’s kiss.Have a safe, and wonderful Thanksgiving!Xoxo- Miranda

Undervalued? Or highly favored!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback! In this episode, I’m openly sharing about what it feels like to give your all in the service industry and still question if in return you’re seen, valued, or respected. There are days that make you question why you even care so much and you even consider wanting to give up—and I’ve had plenty of those lately—but I’ve also learned that its within these challenging moments when you feel the most under attack are also often the very moments you’re being positioned for greater purpose! You’re not forgotten, and you’re not undervalued. You’re being refined, strengthened, and favored—right where you are.If you are someone who pours your all into the way you serve people this episode is for you!Nothing of value never goes untested.

Making your dash count!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback! In this episode, I reflect on the recent passing of Charlie Kirk and the powerful reminder his funeral brought me about the value of our time here on earth. Each of us has two dates—when we are born and when we die—and in between is a dash. That dash represents our life, and what we choose to do with it truly matters! What are you doing today that will make your dash count? What will people say about you when you’re gone?Did you add value to the world around you? This conversation is an invitation to pause and consider: Am I living in a way that adds value to the world around me? Am I using my days with purpose, faith, and intention? My hope is that this message inspires you to make your dash count, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and impact. My hope is that you know the sweetness and nearness of Jesus. Part of who I am is because of who HE is in my life. I’m inspired by Charlies life to have a faith that is both bold & brave.I reference a daily devotional Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. Available on Amazon.I reference Pastor, Loui Giglio from Passion City Church. Passion is available on apple podcast, YouTube and you can stream services live every Sunday. If I can be an encouragement to you in any way please reach out on instagram dms.

A heavy week: honest thoughts & a heart of compassion
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback! This week’s episode is a little different. With the weight of the news and media, and with the remembrance of 9/11, I honestly didn’t know what to bring to the mic. So instead, this episode is simply my heart—a message of honesty, hope, reflection and compassion. I share my thoughts on wishing the world was kinder, safer, and less divided, and I hope these words serve as a small reminder that even in heaviness, we can choose empathy, connection, and light.

Unfiltered
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback! This week we’re talking about what it means to show up unfiltered—without filtering yourself, without over apologizing, or second-guessing yourself. So much of our energy gets wasted trying to edit how we look or how we come across, but real confidence comes from ditching the filters and letting yourself be seen as you are. This is your reminder that the unfiltered you is where your beauty and power lives!I challenge you to try going the next 30 days without using a filter or editing your photos. You were made for more, you always have been!

Why believing in yourself is a full time job!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Today is awesome because we are now on episode #10! Did you know only 20% of podcasters make It to producing episode 10? Some stop creating because they overthink everything:“Is this episode good enough?”“Do I sound dumb?”“What if no one cares?” That internal pressure can kill progress faster than anything else.Which is perfect because today we are talking about having self belief and how to believe in yourself and keep going!Believing in yourself is a full time job and on today’s episode, we’re diving into why that matters—and how you can become the kind of person who truly believes in themselves.Self doubt is loud, but self belief? It has to be chosen—over and over again. We’re talking about practical mindset shifts, ditching other peoples approval and what it actually takes to build unshakable self-trust.We also do a mindset journaling activity so im leaving it here in the show notes for you to refer back to.Here’s a journaling exercise I want you to try. Grab a notebook or open a note on your phone, and write this:•I am (fill in the blank with your goal)Examples:•I am a marathon runner.•I am a bestselling author.•I am a college graduate.•I am a business owner.•I am a loving parent. Now, under each one, write:•I believe I can be [your goal].•I believe I have what it takes to become [your goal].•I believe I will be [your goal].

The breaking in your building
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Right before you step into something great, it often feels like you’re breaking under the pressure. In this episode, I talk about the exhaustion that comes with being a passionate person on the pursuit of more—and why it’s worth it. The truth is, the unseen work you do when no one is watching matters more than you think. It shapes your integrity, strengthens your character, and prepares you for the very breakthrough you’ve been waiting for.

The cost of going for it
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Growth is never free—it will cost you something. Staying in your comfort zone costs you the future version of yourself you’ll never meet. But choosing to go stretch yourself to grow costs energy, effort, and the discomfort of stretching into something new. Something more! In this episode, we’re talking about the real price of growth, why those growing pains are worth it, and how to flip your mindset from “that could never happen for me” to “why not me, and why not now and who better to do it than me?“I’m also sharing some really exciting news with my Made For More crew before I announce it anywhere else! I value your time towards this show and since we are on a growth journey together I figured I would share my news here where dreamers dream.I hope you enjoy this weeks episode and life update! So here’s to “Why not me?”You were made for more, you always have been!

Cash, obedience, forest fires & abundantly MORE Than I could ask for!
Text & connect with me. I would love to hear your questions or feedback!Yeah- we’re so talking about it. This episode is super vulnerable and even gets pretty teary. One year ago today on July 28, 2024 I tithed my envelope of cash savings. My life was messy and upside down and I felt like God had been sending my prayers to voicemail. I felt invisible but yet God was asking for my surrender and obedience. Listen along to see the wonderful works of God in our story. I hope this brings you hope and encouragement that you CAN have a beautiful bloom after your biggest burn down.
