Early reflections from a week at a writer's workshop.

Walking, worshiping, and writing: I got to be myself, in a place usually dedicated to sunbathing and shopping.

Because of a travel day, I can't host a live prayer call, but we can share asynchronous prayer together.

My preference would be to ignore everything negative or unpleasant, rather than pray through … but sometimes the call is to pray through.

When negative thoughts rose up as I read a story I liked: something needed to change!

One of the most deeply felt ideas I've had in a long time.

With a public service announcement on why to encourage our children to wiggle their teeth! (Who knew this was so important?)

Happily, we don't have to fight this on our own, when we already feel at a low ebb.

The balance of not blabbing to the world, but seeking godly counsel.

A bruise is sore for a bit; a relational bruise can be sore for a bit, too.

Bob's encouragement to leave behind time hunger, and work with what's in my hands.

Listening, not debating, being okay with my own way of processing … so many new ideas for me.
