It's our 250th birthday! Let's celebrate all that has made America great. Martha features a story about pancakes and a lady from China who is living and working the American dream in Washington D.C. America is known for aal the opportunities that anyone can benefit from if they are willing to work hard, participate, and create.

South Florida's 2026 hurricane season looks to be not as eventful as other seasons have been. Sahara dust remains our friend and keeping the winds behaving will let us breathe a relief from devasting hurricanes on the east coast of Florida. Come latter October and early Novemeber we need to keep watch for some possible instances, however. But overall, if El Nino behaves we will be in calm surroundings. Heavy rain storms will have impacts but without the forceful winds.

The new peace agreement in the Middle East seems to have a backbone that will work. 

Chemicals in your food is the worst thing to eat. Pork can give some kidney problems so beware. Using herbs and garlic lesen the notion to add salt, salt, salt for flavor. Olive oil is your friend when roasting meats. Butter adds a flavor and is a natural ingredient. Healthy eating is easier if you only think: NO CHEMICALS. 

The far left of the Democratic Party are swaying the entire mission. We need to get back to what most Americans want. Voting is an important item. 

It's good news for this season. Fingers Crossed. But don't breathe a total sigh of relief but keep smiling. The Sahara Dust is our friend as are the Steering Currents. 

It's our nation's birthday coming up. We should remember and be thankful for what we have rather than being divided. Leaving this country is on may people's minds. Oftentimes it seems a better place somewhere else. But is it? Our country has weathered farther and longer than other of this type government. Accountability. Respect. Honesty.  

Far left politics, prejudice, insisting on selectiveism are all in the political mix nowadays. Didn't we tackle this in years past and come away with a better handle on how we can respect each other and get along? Faith, friends and family are the cohesive foundation to keep us equals. Smile, be kind, and listen to one another make for a better conversation. 

Predictions for this season give us a few months to prepare. We're hoping for Sahara Dust to come to the rescue keeping hurricanes at bay. Steering currents are another help becasue when they're in place, they keep the hurricanes on track so we have more insight on where they'll land - or not. Martha says she'll know more of a long-range prediciton in a few weeks. 

Security is a prime issue in today's world. The recent White House Correspondent's Dinner is a valid conclusion to look at with what needs to be done in politics in the USA. 

Bill Clinton gave a conference backing President Trump's decisions on the Middle East. Former President Clinton commended Trump for doing what he - Clinton - failed to initiate during his term in office. That news is welcome. It keeps us feeling better about what's happening now. Gas pricies and the stock market apparently agreed!

When new citizens embrace it Assimilation is a fantastic premise. Sometimes there are problems, but overall assimilation is the positive route to take. Allowing "thugs" to integrate into a country is a recipe for disaster. Vetting people is the way to go.

What is socialism? Can is sustain a nation? Who benefits? Who looses? How does it come about? All of these answers might surprise and befuddle you. But, gaing knowledge on the subject is important. 

Getting the shutdown stopped looks positive going forward. Democrats and Republicans need more alignment and to get the far left to meld away. Legal citizens deserve to know that their votes count because each and every voter is presenting a valid ID. 

What can you negotiate for when buying your home? It's not the nit-pick that will get you out on top. it's the big ticket items - like a roof, a swimming pool, maybe HVAC, that the seller will want to negotiate with because they want to SELL. Your choice of realtor is the important first step!

In real estate, it's the green choices that bring you gold. These pay for themselves over and over. 

Nuclear capabilities and Voter ID are two volitle issues we hear about often in the news. Martha has great insight on how and why Voter IDs can be questionable. Nuclear weapons have been used to coerce many citizens in varios countries making for unbearable living conditions.

Working Class housing is a new buzzword. Different solutions are being discussed. Homelessness is another cause that needs a serious solution to provide good housing. Locally, The Source, has developed solutions to daily housing problems. 

Florida residential taxes are being discussed in Tallahassee. If taxes are done away with where will this money come from now? IRC is one of the lowest taxed counties in Florida. 

The far left agenda is pushing for a federal shutdown. ICE is on the front lines taking abuse. Respect for policing agencies is tettering. Why aren't people being held accountable for their actions v. the policing agencies?

Voting to stop the looming federal shutdown is key. Calling your congressman or representative will get your voice heard. Using ICE and FEMA as the forefront to politic this issue is shameful and not in keeping with what our congress is elected to do. 

Timing is key to eating and drinking hard liquor, taking your vitamins and minerals. A few hard liquor drinks immediately before or after a meal - especially if you;re trying to be mindful to "eat good" can wreck havoc on your nutrients. Processed food is another casualty to be mindful of. Use the "Once-in-a-While" mindest eating chips, soda, cakes, cookines and the like.

The world is looking at recent Trump interventions in Venezula. But it was the Democratic party who initiated the need to oust their corrupt leader. If we are all on the same team does it matter who gets the job done? Instead we should focus and be consistent with our end goal and welcome avenues to complete the mission, any mission. Looking at past political campaigns to make the world a better place for all, should lend knowledge and consistency on how to accomplish future plans regardless who takes credit rather than cutting it apart. 

Trying to find money to save and then invest can be mind boggling, but breaking it down to a mere $10/week isn't. That $10-15 can turn into a $300,000 nest egg if the investment stay put and the years add up. Leave it alone Martha says and you'll be happy, happy, happy. Also, be mindful of all your options. 

Venezuela has its toils now with oil tankers, fentanyl and politics. We're watching this play out for the world's benefit. 

The New Year is upon us and what's in store seems to be good news for all of us. Mortgage rates, that Big Beautiful Bill, semi-tech jobs, and the stock market all look good for the next 12 months. Let's get going celebrating!

Indian River County Commissioner Laura Moss joins Martha to give the aganda on the county budgets. The millage was voted on and accepted, now its time to discuss which direction, which entity will receive what allotment of our tax money. 

Taking OTC pain medicine regularly and long term will give your body side effects and eventual harm. Addressing the issue of why you're taking these will give new insight.  Telling your doctor all of the medications you regularly take gives a better overall outcome and health plan.

Is the Sarah Dust going to stay around? What's happening with the cooler waters now in the Atlantic? Two more hurricanes are coming back to back and steering the course of Erin. 

Changing political districts in many states has diluted certain parties from have a majority. How is this happening? When did it start? How do we fix it? It seems that this gerrymandering is a total manipulation of power and diluting our democracy.
