The fruit of the Spirit is not grown in comfort but cultivated in in surrender. The work of the Spirit is imparting this miracle into our daily lives. To have passion brings to mind someone with insatiable desire, longing or zeal for an endeavor. Yet the root of the word passion derives from the term suffering. In its truest form, passion is whatever one will suffer through to reach their goal. We see this truest form of passion in Jesus Christ and what He endured to be the Savior of the world. To walk by the Spirit is to walk in liberty of God's grace. But as we walk in Christ our identity becomes less and less our identity and more and more His identity. After we have been set free by the Lord Jesus, He tells us we are free indeed. We have freedom to go and sin no more. Everything is lawful for the believer, there is no condemnation in Christ, and you are free to live life to the fullest. Yet, although all things are lawful to the believer, not all things are helpful to edify the Body of Christ or help build the family of God. We must learn to walk in the law of liberty. The Garden Gathering Church seeks to see all believers walking free and whole in the fullness of Jesus Christ. His saving grace is powerful and real. The more we have communion with God and He supplies your daily needs within the soul, the less and less you will need to go to others for help. He becomes your sufficiency. When a body of believers assemble together to worship God. We come together to enter into the worship of Heaven and encounter it on earth. The Lord God is not a God of confusion but of order and yet a burning flame. When we gather together as brothers and sisters in Christ our goal is to step into the sanctuary of God. The Lord God gives us vision and direction in our lives. He will tell His disciples what the goal is, but hide the individual steps to get there. Along this journey, God will instruct you to daily tasks and then reveal Himself within them. So a Christian's journey is from revelation to revelation of Jesus, increasing their faith in their walk until they meet that original goal. Jesus Christ came to the earth with a mission from heaven. He set out on His ministry to culminate in the city of Jerusalem. The Church remembers His entrance into Jerusalem as Palm Sunday. What are you injecting into your body through your eyes and your thoughts that is opposing the Christ? We cannot be of this world though we live in it.
