A Mother's Day Sermon that goes beyond the day...We are called to Love and God provides the tools, talents, people, and even the authoruty to go and "do" it. As we learn by being loved, our duty is then to teach by doing love in the manner that God has established as right and necessary.

When you are called, more importantly, when you answer, your whole life changes. Indeed, your life changes because you have changed. A new you for the purpose of God in Christ gets a whole new life.

We can't just be singing it, we must be found living it! The life required, requires us first to believe that the promises of God are yours. Which ones? All of them, withut exception, are yours by birthright... That is, from your new beginning, being born again.

"God is the only one worthy!" So you've heard before. Worthy of what? Everything and all praise for everything good, even that which we might call bad, because in all of it, He is who He has always been, and if you are His, then everything He is doing is for your good.

Christ says, "I go to make a place for you." Have you ever wondered what He really means? Hear the answer from scripture... I'll bet it's biggr and better than you ever thought!

Pastor Joe speaks to the "new sacrifice" that is called for by God. In the later days of the Old Testament Period, the shift was spoken of as the prophesies pointed to Christ. Now, as Christ is come, He shows us the way as well as the meaning.

Pastor Joe speaks to "ownership" of the person. If you are God's because He has called you since before time, then God is yours, through Christ.

Our nation was born to be free. We were formed as free men because they new that living under Christ made us free, and no form of government could or should enslave a people who were "Free Indeed" for that freedom, worth our own lives and treasures to protect, comes for the purpose of God through Christ, Jesus.

We so often in our quest for knowledge, dig into things to disect them. Piece by piece looking closer and closer to figure out how it all works. We're good at figuring out how to build something by reverse engineering. We may even try our hand at improving the thing.But in order to really "improve" something you have to know it's original intent. It's the "Why?" it was designed and created that truly makes it go.Our God Saves!" is our declaration, and our Truth. We can spend years and years studying all the ways He does, but "how" never brings us to "why".It's the "Why?" That brings our lives into focus.It's the "Why?" that defines our pupose.Don't miss it!

God's "Heavenly Wisdom" is presented to us with maternal characteristics because the purpose of Wisdom is to provide care for God's Children. Shouldn't then we want to get to know her?

WE study what I like to call, God Math here in this sermon. God's Math is based on a formula of His own creation that is derived from His own power as Jehovah Jirah and is expressed in scripture in three ways. First "Much and Much More", Second "Sufficient", and Third "Plenty".Each expression assumes the following functions...Love God and Your NeighborGive in faithReap then what God is providing (again)

Another in the excercise of considering what it truly means that "God provides in all things".The Bread Of Life as "manna" from heaven takes on the necessary form to sustain, not just life, but the "LIfe Abundant".

We are fond of delclaring "God provides all things!" and although it's certainly true, it tends to keep us from considering the "what" that is contained in such an omnibus statement.Let's consider just some of what God provides in His answer to our very pressing question, "How shall we live Lord?"

Knowing what time it is, is a comon theme from Scripture. Why do think this is?Contrary to those around you of pioty that claim "God's in charge, so you don't have to worry." God Himself, calls us to "know the season!" because we are not to be standing idle by, but sewing and reeping (successfuly).

What are you saved for? To whom do you belong! From where do you get your strength?Really!?The CELEBRATE IT! LIVE IT! LOVE IT! Out loud and in person.

When we come to that "Ah Hah!" moment when we truly know the Lord, Son of God, as Messiah! There will be (is) nothing else that matters...The world, it's lies, the people that stand against you; none of it matters.

A Lenten message to the church (western specific) to check ourselves as the Body of Christ and for God's Sake, stand biblically in these days. How do you know a Christian? We've all learned that actions speak louder than words. Jesus Christ, Son of God and Messiah is calling to you. Yes, YOU!So, now you're thinking, "Why me Lord?" If this is you,, I'll answer that in another Sermon, keep listening for it. But if you're saying to yourself, "Yes, now what?" This Sermon's for you! Who is Christ in your life? The asnswer is actually found (and proven) in the question, "Who are you, in Christ!?" Do you represent? God the Father blesses all of creation with everything that is necessary. He blesses His Children with special things that they would know the love that He has for them. And then He blesses in a manner described in scripture as "Much and Much More" which incidently is defined by scripture as "Sufficient". What is the purpose of this sufficient blessing? Listen! Christ's whole purpose in this world is you. Those whispers you've been aware of and shrugging off are real. He is calling you, to more, to not only Himself, but through Him to ther Father...Turn, and open your arms!

God has created each of us with a purpose under His own intention. Pastor Joe speaks to the congregation after a disapointing election result in the past as worry and panic began to show themselves within the local Christian communities.Although some of the material is dated, the message remains the same for the church and the christian of today. We are given the "Life Abundant" so we are completely equippied to stand in the face of calamity and all that is to come, without worry. Because we are assured of our place, and our identity. No law, or popular, public opinion can take that from us!

Some of the "landlocked" that hear this message might find some new facts about boating, while we delve into the scripture account of Jesus on a boat...When we think of ourselves in the way characterized by a somewhat famous author as "ships passing in the night" we can better understand our place in this account. Christ, calls us to relationship and goes to every length to be there when your time is present. Even in a storm tossed boat, if that's where you are.

From the Book of Amos, we find the Plumbline of God. Given from Heaven for us to see and use. Without the plumbline, even in these modern days of hightech everywhere, it is impossible to build anything "right".And, without the plumbline, we have no way of knowing whether we continue, or even finish right.At the finish, it's too late not to be "right".

Better than ANY Superhero (Yes, even that one!) because Christ is real, a true gift for your own good, and He does it all out of a real Love for you that will never change.

Many in these days, especially in the current trend of "decunstructionalism" claim that there is no "mention" of "The Trinity" within Scripture. While their claim is technically true, the claim is contextually and factually untrue. If you listen to the words of scripture with discerning and understanding, you can't help but to see clearly (Faith comes by hearing) that the Trinity does in fact exist with character of person and purpose of God.Don't be fooled by the latest attempts, if you're paying attention, you'll note they're much like all the rest!

The word "cling" in the original context and language meant something entirely different than the American English useage of today. In it's original form, it means a "perminent state" of joining by integration of the wholes to become one new whole. This "joining" is so complete, you can't tell where the first or second begins or ends.When Christ calls you to Him, when scripture says we are to die to one's self that we might share in the resurected life, this is what is intended!So, how are we doing today?

As Christ calls "Come!" He isn't asking you to do anything He hasn't already done. When you do finally say "Yes Lord!" you'll find the journey is short... it's literally falling into His arms. For "Christ The King" Sunday at Junction Bible Christian Church, Pastor Joe declares Christ IS indeed King through scripture and exposition, then asks a hard question... "What say you?"

Hope is where everything of God begins and Advent is no exception. It is the Hope that we have in God and His Faithfulness that brings us to prayer.
