To avoid any embarrassment of travelling alone and to make her ex jealous she hires a male escort, Nick Mercer, (Dermot Mulroney) to be her wedding date.

Unfortunately, due to external circumstances they lose one another in this night, but never stop thinking of one another.Years go by, but the feeling of something not being quite right continues. They both independently set out on a course to find one another.
