It's okay to outgrow people, places and things

Often times, when we are elevating to a different level; we feel about about our growth. It's perfectly okay to outgrow people, places, or even things(not your clothes, but you get the gist of what I am saying). You are allowed to grow, it's not a bad thing. We just have to take our feelings out of it and use logic and mature reasoning.

  33. 140

    What do I actually know?

What you don't defeat, you repeat

I always thought growing up that once we go through something, once it was over, it was over. It never dawned on me that I would continue to go through that same thing until I defeated it. Until I learned learned how to master my temper, my responses, my attitude, my fleshly desires, and keep me to me. It was in those lessons that I learned that it would continue to be in my life until I defeated(passed) those tests.

  36. 137

I lie because I love you

As a man, I have heard and used this phrase. It is not gender specific and I am sure women use it as well. The fact of the matter is, it is not true. It what we make up in our minds as a cop out. 42. 131

    I can’t help, if I don’t know it’s a problem.

Dealing with the many sides of life, sometimes it’s easier to suffer in silence than to release the pain verbally. Learned a valuable lesson when I finally got my son to open to me.

Be my honey, not my homie

In relationships, men typically want what they do not have within themselves. I think that most women they exemplifies a lot of manly characteristics, is simply because their prominent relationships are with men. There is grave difference in a friendship and a relationship.
