In this episode, Jesus continues to heal people and to cast out evil spirits. We also see Jesus keeping the spirits from talking about who He is, and we think about why Jesus might have wanted to keep the Messianic Secret!

In this episode, we see that Jesus calls some fishermen to be his disciples. They are called to leave their nets, and to go and fish for people, all kinds of people!

October 9, 2026- Into the Wilderness
In this episode, the Spirit leads Jesus into the wilderness, and we are reminded that Jesus was obedient and trusted God in the wilderness. We are reminded that we all will go through desolate places in our lives, and are encouraged to follow Jesus' example of trusting God in the wilderness!

October 10, 2026- The Kingdom of Heaven Has Come Near
In this episode, we see the central message of Jesus, for the people to repent and believe the good news because the Kingdom of Heaven has come near!

In this episode, Jesus ministry is grounded in his identity as the beloved Son of God and we are reminded that, in Christ, we also are the beloved children of God!

October 7, 2026- Baptized With the Spirit
In this episode, we see John the Baptist pointing the people to the one who will not just baptize them for repentance, but with the Holy Spirit!

October 6, 2026- Into the Wilderness
In this episode, we see that Mark's gospel begins with John the Baptist in the wilderness and we are reminded that God often speaks in places where everything is stripped away!

October 5, 2026- Believing the Gospel
In this episode, we see the epilogue to the book of John. John assures us that his testimony is true, and that Jesus did many more things than just what he has recorded!

October 4, 2026- You Must Follow Me
In this episode, after Peter learns of his future martyrdom, He wonders what is going to happen to his fellow disciple. Jesus reminds him that we all have our own calling in His kingdom!

October 3, 2026- Take Up a Cross
In this episode, Jesus tells Peter that when he is older his hands will be stretched out and we are reminded that all of us are called to take up our cross.

October 2, 2026- Feed My Sheep
In this episode, we see that Jesus encounters Peter on the beach and he asks him a simple question, "Do You Love Me?" When Peter replies "yes," Jesus tells him, "Feed My Sheep."

October 1, 2026- Invitation to Relationship
In this episode, the disciples recognize Jesus on the shore after a miraculous catch of fish. He then invites them to share a meal with him!

September 30, 2026- Encountering God
In this episode, the disciples encounter Jesus on the Sea of Galilee and, after fishing all night and catching nothing, they experience a miraculous catch of fish when casting their net on the right side of the boat!

September 29, 2026- Believing In His Name
In this episode, we read John's own description of why his gospel was written, and we are challenged to take a leap of faith and believe in Jesus' name!

September 28, 2026- My Lord and My God
In this episode, we see that Jesus shows up to Thomas to help him believe, and that Thomas exclaims, "My Lord and My God." We are challenged to be among those that the book of John says are blessed because they "have not seen and yet believe!"

September 27, 2026- I Am Sending You
In this episode, we see Jesus appear to the disciples after his resurrection, breathe the Holy Spirit upon them, and then sends them into the world in the power of the Spirit!

September 26, 2026- I Have Seen the Lord
In this episode, Mary recognizes Jesus when he calls her by name, and then she goes and tells the disciples "I have seen the Lord!"

Morning Meditation September 25, 2026- Thinking He Was the Gardener
In this episode, Mary encounters Jesus, but she doesn't recognize Him. She mistakes him for the gardener, and we are reminded that the same God who created the Garden of Eden in Genesis, is inaugurating the new creation in a garden on that first Easter!

September 24, 2026- Christ is Risen
In this episode, we see a footrace at the tomb, the first witnesses of the resurrection are women, and we are challenged to believe that this same Jesus who was crucified is risen and God has made him both Lord and Christ!

In this episode, we see two unlikely disciples risking their reputation and burying Jesus after His death!

September 22, 2026- The Passover Lamb
In this episode, we see that John is revealing to his reader that Jesus is the Passover lamb who delivers His people and the Messiah who was promised!

In this episode, we see that Jesus gives. up His spirit and becomes the atoning sacrifice for humanity once and for all time!

In this episode, we see that Jesus tells his mother and one of his disciples that they are now mother and son!

September 19, 2026- God Suffers For Us and With Us
In this episode, we are reminded that we are never alone in our suffering, but that Christ on the cross entered into the suffering of humanity!

September 18, 2026- Living the Upside Down Kingdom
In this episode, Pilate puts a sign on Jesus cross that says "Jesus of Nazareth: The King of the Jews." We discuss how this message is true, even though at the time Jesus seems to be anything but king!

September 17, 2026- Siding With Caesar
In this episode, Pilate chooses to be a friend of Caesar instead of a friend of Jesus, and the religious leaders ultimately say that they have no king but Caesar!

September 16, 2026- A Calm, Certain Trust
In this episode, Jesus is before Pilate and we see that Jesus completely trusts that God is the one in control, even as he approaches the cross!

September 15, 2026- We Have a Choice
In this episode, we see that Jesus is mocked by those he created, and we are reminded of the lengths God would go to allow us to choose to love Him!

September 14, 2026- Which Jesus?
In this episode, we see that Pilate asks the crowd who they want released to them Jesus of Nazareth, or Jesus Barabbas. And we are encouraged to choose the Kingdom of God revealed in Jesus of Nazareth!

In this episode, we see that Jesus tell Pilate his Kingdom is not of this world!

September 12, 2026- Living In the Truth
In this episode, Jesus is being questioned by the high priest and his responses remind us of his teaching to let our "yes be yes" and our "no be no!"

In this episode, we see that Peter ends up denying Jesus three times and we are reminded that no failure has to be the end for us!

September 10, 2026- God is a Jazz Musician
In this episode, we see that Caiaphas prediction of 'one man dying for the people" comes true, but in a way that no one expected! We are reminded that God brings good out of even the worst moments of life!

In this episode, we see that Jesus voluntarily drinks the cup the Father has for Him, and tells Peter to put down his sword!

September 8th, 2026- The Power to Lay It Down
In this episode, Judas brings soldiers and religious leaders to have Jesus arrested, and the soldiers are overwhelmed with the power of God at work in Christ.

September 7, 2026- God's Love in Us
In this episode, Jesus continues to pray for those who will hear the message of his disciples and ultimately he prays that the Father's love would dwell in them.

In this episode, Jesus prays for those who will believe in Him because of his disciple's message- that they would be united as they live in God!

In this episode, Jesus prays for his disciples, that they would be in the world but not of it, and that they would be sanctified by the truth of God's word!

September 4, 2026- A Prayer for Protection
In this episode, Jesus prays that His Father will protect His disciples, and unify them as they face the difficult journey ahead!

September 3, 2026- Eternal Life Now
In this episode, Jesus is praying and he gives us insight on this thing we call eternal life. We are reminded that we can experience eternal life right now!

In this episode, Jesus tells his disciples that all the things he has been telling them is so that they would have peace. He tells them that they will face trouble in this world, but that He has overcome the world!

In this episode, Jesus compares the trials the disciples are about to face during his trial and death to a woman in labor whose grief eventually turns to joy! We are reminded that our God is a God of resurrection life!

August 31, 2026- A Relationship With the Trinity
In this episode, we see that the Spirit reveals the Truth of God to us, a truth that is shared between Father and Son!

August 30, 2026- The Advocate Has Come
In this episode, we are reminded that it was for the disciples good (and for ours) that Jesus went to the Father, because he would send His Spirit to live in them!

August 29, 2026- Giving Testimony
In this episode, Jesus says he will send the Spirit of Truth to testify about him, but the disciples must also testify!

August 28, 2026- If the World Hates You
In this episode, Jesus tells his disciples that if the world hated him, it will hate them as well. We are reminded to live authentic lives, no matter how people receive the gospel!

August 27, 2026- Not Servants But Friends
In this episode, Jesus tells his disciples that he has not called them servants but friends. We are reminded that God wants us to be his children, not just his servants!
