TODD'S TUNE
This is a tune I wrote for my godson. It's sung through the eyes of his sister, whom he annoys dreadfully in the usual sibling rivalry. At the moment, he's become Michael Jackson after seeing the new biopic, dancing to "Billie Jean" and all the Jackson 5 tracks.

THE WILD WEST
A song I wrote about the ironic “Western.” When I was growing up, we were fed on Westerns and Walt Disney until they became hardwired into our heads. Even now, I still remember the names of Billy the Kid and Jesse James. The first movie I ever saw in the cinema was Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which was a masterpiece. For a child, viewing it on a huge silver screen looked so real, as if you were there in Monument Valley.

CLEOPATRA
This is a song I wrote after reading about Cleopatra, the undisputed Queen of the Nile. She could seduce kings, queens, and leaders alike, especially from Rome’s top echelon. Yet she was also ruthless having her brother and sister murdered and feeding rivals to the crocodiles kept at her palace in Shatby. She walked across the backs of servants laid out like human pontoons so her feet would never touch the cold marble floors. But Cleopatra was also a genius: a polyglot who spoke ten languages, wrote books, and amassed billionaire fortune vast enough to rescue Caesar and Rome from bankruptcy. She founded an exclusive drinking club and once created a pearl cocktail that, in today’s money, would be worth over $10 million still considered the most expensive drink ever concocted. What a woman. It took 24 Roman legions and 250 warships to finally defeat her almost the full might of Rome itself

THE LOVER'S REQUIEM
This is a song I wrote about two young lovers who were separated by death, leaving them both with broken hearts until the angels took pity on them and eventually brought them back together. They watched the man walk the lonely streets for a lifetime, with the ghost of his lost love following in his footsteps to the place where, as young lovers, they used to meet. Unfortunately, it’s based on a true story.

BLUEBIRD
This is a song I wrote after reading about the Campbell Curse, called The Curse of Bluebird, in which anyone who had anything to do with these speed machines usually met a fatal or financial end. In many cases, being involved with them seemed to fast forward the future toward a destiny death.

STARS AND CARS
This is a song I wrote about the move stars and their love of Cars which soon become mafee and moulded to their own persuasions and personalities with bizarre customized outcomes.

TINDERBOX
This is a song I wrote after listening to a friend explaining the details of a dating site he was uploading his advertisement onto. The reason I say this is that it resembles buying a car, where you look at the details, bodywork, etc. You put in an age category, model/gender, mileage/number of owners i.e., marriages/partners, then swipe left or right and hold to view in detail just like on many sites that trade in goods or cars. Then you begin to swipe through the menu.

THE RAVENS
This is a song I wrote after reading about the ravens in the Tower of London. Long ago, they were the city’s street cleaning squad as they are now. The Tower’s executions were, to them, a rare treat of meat. Now they're a tourist greet, their bellies packed with blood biscuits rabbit. Pampered, praised, and plump, they are awarded military rank and are subject to the same strict code as soldiers, with some court martialed and dishonourably discharged for bad behaviour.

THE STYLE TYCOON
This is a ditty I wrote about the boy from Brixton "Bowie". The chameleon of creativity, the style Tycoon who pushed convention over a cliff ;My mother and father hated him and used to call him a looney toon with a head full of cartoons hence the chorus. But his iconic innovation shaped the world of pop, and that’s why I loved him then and now , even when interviewed you can see he was enjoying himself, he loved to lampoon, he once admitted that lying was a hobby a self mythicalisation to fool the press he was a genius.

AL CAPONE
This is a song I wrote about the short but violent life of the gangster, racketeer and business man called "big Al Capone" who ruled the American Prohibition era boot-legging booze , brothel's and bars. He came out of the notorious Five Points slum district described as the "Hell’s Kitchen" of New York; the last bastion of Beelzebub. He basically murdered his way to the top , A six feet piece of terror and testosterone. who ended dying of neurosyphilis with mental age of twelve ; he spent all his time writing songs in Alcatraz with a quintet called the "Rock Islanders" a banjo jazz band who played for the jail birds on Sundays.

FELIX
This is a song I wrote about the new designer babies that are now being developed for rich people who want the perfect DNA genetics for their offspring by having a cut-and-paste double helix. But how long before a maverick or manic puts together an extra synthetic helix designed by AI nano biotics a three way zip with a chromosome clip? Let's face it, Elon Musk has chipped up the brain with his new N1 cursor that hopes to cure the spinal invalid. It sounds like Gattaca, the movie where the valids AI super-hybrid humans become the new rulers.

BLACK RAIN
I wrote this song after seeing apocalyptic images of Iran following strikes on its oil refineries and chemical works perhaps even facilities similar to the germ-warfare laboratories at Porton Down. The skies turned so dark they resembled a solar eclipse, and soon black rain began to fall. This mirrors the effects of nuclear winter, where soot and debris rise into the high stratosphere and spread worldwide. That is why I called it the beta burning of skin a mark that would leave us all like the mark of Cain.

PANDORA'S BOX
This is a song I wrote after reading about how Edinburgh University is using old plastic bottles (i.e., PETs) to cure Parkinson’s disease. When polythene plastics become spastic, then the acid chains that build us are being refined and redesigned ;How long before the human is built from a plastic can or a tin of Spam? These boffins at Porton Down, with their chemistry sets, will make us into their plastic PETs.

THE ARISTOCRATS

MONDAY MORNING

MEN IN BLACK
This is a song I wrote about the men in black those dreaded debt collectors. They arrive like dark shadows of doom looking very similar to funeral directors who carry away a corpse ;These guys also cart away a lost life. I've experienced both , neither was a pleasant experience, You're left with a big empty space where once life used to thrive.

SIX PACK STEVE
This is a song I wrote after speaking with an old friend, Davey, about our young blood glory days. Now that we’re heading towards a midlife spread, we were reminiscing about the wild, crazy lives we led fast cars, fast women, and, like my thumbnail caption says, fast boats. Looking at me aboard a sailing yacht called Sylvia, I can’t believe how slim we were. I was known as “Six Pack Steve,” but not anymore. Those were the days, my friend.

THE FAT CAT STRAT
This is a song I wrote about how old guitars are now becoming works of art, where people acquire them for their musical museums. One guy I know air plays them at home on a mirrored stage with spot lights an black leather . The thumbnail shows The black Strat which sold for £13.6 million dollars.

LET THE KINGDOM COME
A song wrote for my religious friends who keep telling me I should come and join the congregation and learn how to pray . I thought a sort of powerful sung prayer come requiem my attempt to celebrate with Jerry my wonderful worldly wise lay preacher and also J B the Irish Cannon from trinity college who I shared spirit and space with . Amen to both of you ,I hope you both made it across into the kingdom of heaven I'm sure they're still looking down upon me a shaking their heads with bemused beatific disappointment ,as always

Kentucky Coal
A song I wrote after visiting my brother who lives in Thailand,I was struck by the close proximity of sin , every one of the seven deadies were available 24/7 and the foreign tourists readily participated in the promiscuous perversions untill it became a normality; their hearts and souls seemed stained and tainted by it.

The white Narcissus
This is a song I wrote about a serial killer who, disturbingly, was a nun. She was convicted of seven homicides, though it is believed that as many as one hundred victims may be connected to her. She became known as Mother Mariam, the Abbess of a high altitude convent perched on a remote mountaintop. The story bares an uncanny resemblance to the film the black Narcissus.

Sugar daddy
A song about the sugar daddy girls that hunt down older husband for money.

The treadmill
This is a song I wrote. I had to listen to a friend of mine this morning a dreadfully overweight businessman telling me that he was on a treadmill he couldn’t get off. I know the feeling , today another commuter threw themselves under the train at Doncaster. I then had to five different connections , by the time I’d finished, I thought I was going to have a massive jammer; no wonder we call it the heart attack hill this trans- Siberian treadmill.

TEMPLES TO TEMPTATION
I wrote this song after hearing how the gambling citadels / casinos of the world spend billions crafting their digital Devil's delusions to make the punters feel they're one moment from winning the jackpot. The sons of perdition have certainly built some of the most magnificent Temples to Temptation.
