It's just not possible for these things to have happened without some dark machinations in the background.. not just a system that created this.. but some pretty deliberate actions taken that I can't imagine how one would justify to themself...

If the entire horrible story rhymed and were told in a lyrical fashion...

Having listened to this read so many times by so many people to get this out there I really gotten to know it inside and out and I'll tell you it speaks our Truth more than anyone else or anything else ever has. This is our story here. There is a bit more at the end and that final hospitalization that I'm discovering. But this is the big picture.

I decided to leave just unedited because it's a perfect sample of how my brain works. And why this podcast isn't anymore just going to be me talking for a while. I was 100% sober while recording this and this is very very much how any normal conversation with me turns. Added with my worn down by life and don't give enough appearance that I'm still rockin, I don't get taken very seriously often anymore. One of the doctors was afraid because I said something to the effect of you don't know who you're dealing with. What I look like is not who I am. He took this as a physical threat. Or as an opportunity to add physical threats to my narrative. I'm honestly not sure which. What it meant was I look like a new one. I look like someone that you can just disregard. Just like my husband. But that's not who we are. I was already researching the DNR issue and knew that I was in the right legally. He would see we weren't just some.... Whatever specific image they had or were creating.... That's what I meant. Thank you to the same nurse I mentioned in here for documenting that by the way. Another documented note in the Case files that shows I was present and fighting for him. It's literally as I'm writing this and was recording this earlier that I'm seeing that one person really really tried so hard to stop what was happening or at the very least to give me a record of it after. Please if that person is reading or listening to any of this if you ever are treated in any way unfairly after this starts to become a thing... Please contact me I will do whatever it is that I can do and that might be more than you think to make sure that you are not retaliated against that's what I'm pretty sure was you being the bravest person in that hospital. You could just be super efficient and none of the rest of them are. That's also a possibility either way congratulations!

For years Kevin sure that everyone was always laughing at them. Even he thought he was crazy sometimes. But it happens. EMTs, doctors, and even case managers when they forget to hang up the phone first.

Sometimes medical records are updated. Things are changed. Sometimes that's normal. Sometimes it's a little suspicious....

I love how they felt the need to Express that they received no objections from any staff member in the room well sure what the f*** were they going to do intubating with no f****** heartbeat it was the stupidest order to begin with how the f*** you give intubation with no CPR?!?!!

So it's been rough edits of a podcast so far and I want this really to be something to honor next so I'm figuring out how to actually make a podcast and make it align with the vision I have. I posted things here that are more unfinished pieces of the end goal than actually achieving it. So I won't be removing anything unless I'm replacing it with a better version. I'll try to have all of this done within the coming week but I'm also going through 66,000 pages of medical records which is providing a whole lot I want to talk about. Charles still keep doing that on "Kevin and Nick's life" It's another podcast that I started and wasn't sure what I wanted it to be but that's where you'll find more daily notes send a blog of what's going on sort of thing. We are currently coming through 66,000 pages of medical records. Digging to find the real answer. Was what happened to the case of the system failing my husband? My crazy to think there was something more deliberate there? The answer lies in the 66,000 pages.... Coming September 27 ... My birthday present to Nick. Each episode a celebrity guest will read a vital entry from his medical chart. No AI voices... Just some people who were magic for Nick in his favorite shows and movies...who wanted to come by and help tell the story of my husband Nick... If you're tagged here it's because I'm hoping my little podcast will catch your attention. It means that if you could take anywhere from one minute to five... To read anything from a ridiculous entry in his chart that is almost laughable... Tonthe

Noticed after she makes the joke there's an awkward pause because clearly no one laughed and she tries to egg them on a little bit and goes right? Some emotionally needy nurse turned case manager needed a little validation at somebody else's expense. She could at least been a little funnier. And then after a very long pause ironically laughing that I'm still in the tread it's the husband. As though what? 20 years and I would stop fighting ? Even with this voicemail who I played for my new friend Skipper once I realized he was the house supervisor.. i I had had some genuinely warm chats with this man before I ever knew he was the big cheese so to speak the house supervisor. That's a story for another episode. But he pretended to care when I told him about the message but.. it wasn't one voicemail it was the entire attitude with which we were approached by almost everyone. There were special angels along the way who were definite exceptions and everyone at Fresenius Kidney Care in Marana and South Tucson .... Who put up with both of us but never made us feel like they were putting up with us. They consistently went above and beyond to put the care into the patient treatment. He appreciated the respect you showed him. Fresenius was the exception. Tina at Banner South.... She was the rule.

A sneak preview of an upcoming podcast. The first episode has to be perfect and we're finishing it up now.. some episodes will feature different formats some will be deep dives into various factors that helped lead to my husband's death. Some might be just a song. Some might be someone with a message for him. I'm inviting any of the people who knew him to please record an audio message for him and we'll post them in special episodes. the first season will be exploring the various components that led to the death of my husband Nick. I fought against a lot of this while he was alive. But it wasn't until the very end when I really started finding out that not only wasn't I crazy about how I saw things going down but that this exact same scenario has played out for others. So the aim is to perhaps make a difference for others going through the same thing who might not even know that it's happening . And if ANYONE is able to make that difference, even AFTER losing his fight for life, it's certainly #Myhusbandnick
