I AM: the Vine
This is a message by Reece from our series I AM. Passage: John 15:1-11Welcome to the Newlife podcast! We’re so glad that you could join us. Newlife is one family with many churches located in Brisbane, Coolangatta, Coomera, Moreton Bay, and Robina—and we exist to see more people more like Jesus by planting and leading thriving local churches. You’ve joined us for our series, ‘I AM’, where we explore who Jesus says He is, through the book of John. When God appeared to Moses at the burning bush, he gave himself a name unlike any other: I Am who I Am. Centuries later, Jesus would reach back to that same moment — and make it personal. In the Gospel of John, Jesus offers seven extraordinary statements that begin with the words "I am." Each one is more than a title. Each one is an invitation — to know him, trust him, and experience the life only he can give. Along the way, we'll discover how Jesus meets us in our deepest needs — our hunger, our lostness, our fear, our search for meaning — and how his ancient words are more relevant than ever.Whether you're new to faith or have followed Jesus for years, this series will help you not just know who Jesus is, but experience the full, abundant, and eternal life he offers. Enjoy the podcast!

Vision Sunday 2026
This Sunday at Newlife, we gathered for Vision Sunday and heard a timely message from Ps. Scott that called us back to something deeper than strategy — back to revelation. We were reminded that biblical vision is not about clever plans or new initiatives, but about being a people who are spiritually attentive to what God is saying. Vision begins with listening. With remembering who we are, why we exist, and where God is leading us as His Church. As we step into 2026, this message re-anchors us in Newlife’s mission of more people, more like Jesus, and invites us to be a church that gathers the lost, glues people into community, grows as disciples, and goes on mission — all shaped by prayer and the presence of God. If Newlife is home for you, this message sets the tone for the year ahead. If you’re exploring faith or looking for a church community, this is a beautiful window into the heart and direction of our church. We pray this message encourages you to lean in, listen closely, and walk faithfully into all God is calling you into this year.

In this week’s message, The Vine, we look at Jesus’ words in John 15:1–8, where He calls us to abide in Him—the true source of life and fruitfulness. We unpack what it really means to remain in Christ, why faithfulness is His work but remaining is ours, and how the fruit of our lives brings glory to God, not ourselves. Through this message we’re reminded that every good work and every piece of fruit begins with staying connected to Jesus. If you missed Sunday’s service, this message will encourage you to slow down, reconnect with the Vine, and rediscover the beauty of abiding—because without Christ, we wither. Nehemiah: Renewal starts with Prayer
This is a message by Ps. Scott Wrigley from our series Nehemiah: Return. Rebuild. Renew.Welcome to the Newlife podcast! We’re so glad that you could join us. Newlife is one family with many churches located in Brisbane, Coolangatta, Coomera, Moreton Bay, and Robina—and we exist to see more people more like Jesus by planting and leading thriving local churches. This week, Ps. Scott Wrigley steps into the heart of Nehemiah and reveals a powerful truth: Renewal always begins on our knees. In this opening message of our Nehemiah series, we explore chapter 1 and the bold, faith-filled prayer that sets the foundation for rebuilding not just Jerusalem’s walls, but a broken nation.Ps. Scott challenges us to reflect deeply:If we’re not willing to pray first, how will we ever see renewal? If we’re not willing to step out in faith, how will God’s kingdom come through us?This message is both a call to prayer and a call to courage—a timely reminder that transformation starts when we surrender to God’s plans before taking action.Listen in and be stirred to pray, rebuild, and respond to God’s call.We pray that this message is a blessing. We’d love to hear from you!https://www.church.nu/coolangatta https://www.facebook.com/newlifecoolangatta https://www.instagram.com/newlifecoolangatta_

Lighten The Load || Ps. Ori Zacher
Welcome to the Newlife podcast! We’re so glad that you could join us. Newlife is one family with many churches located in Brisbane, Coolangatta, Moreton Bay, Robina, and online and we exist to see more people more like Jesus by planting and leading thriving local churches. This Sunday, Ori Zacher delivered a powerful message rooted in Matthew 11:28, where Jesus desires to lighten our load through a simple invitation: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”Ori unpacked the deep meaning behind living yoked to Christ—a life of surrender where we no longer carry the weight of our burdens alone. When we walk in step with Jesus, we allow Him to lead, to carry the heaviness we were never meant to bear, and to guide us with His wisdom and grace. It’s not about striving, but abiding. This message is a timely reminder to lean into the rest Jesus offers and to trust in His teaching, leadership, and unshakeable peace.Tune in to be encouraged and challenged to live under His yoke—light, freeing, and full of purpose. We pray that this message is a blessing. We’d love to hear from you!https://www.church.nu/coolangatta https://www.facebook.com/newlifecoolangatta https://www.instagram.com/newlifecoolangatta_
