Revelation 5 As Christians we don’t necessarily have a mascot, but we do have an image, a symbol, of what our God, in Christ, is like, who we are called to worship, and how we are called to live. This symbolic figure tells us something important about who we are and what it means to be victorious.

Cynicism, hopelessness, clinging to expectations of how we thought things would be...all of this is Dead Weight that holds us back from God's good for us and through us.
