He loved us first, and He continues in perfect love toward us, unconditionally. God sees us as He sees Christ. Love is matured (perfected) in us when we understand His love. This gives us boldness and confidence in our relationship with Him.

  30. 20

    Why Love?

Preached Sunday morning, January 5th. 1 John 4:7-12 1. Love is who God is. 2. Love is what God has shown us. 3. Love is how God reveals Himself. Is God revealing Himself through your love? "Beloved, let us love one another."

  32. 18

    Consideration and Communtication

Preached Sunday evening, September 29th. Joshua 22 In a moment, a united, calm setting can become a place of division, conflict, and frustration. Two reasons things go from peace to tension is people acting without considering another's perception and people acting without considering that they may be misunderstanding what is going on. There must be consideration and communication for there to be harmony in any relationship.

  33. 17

    Put a Dam on It

Preached Wednesday evening, August 5th. Proverbs 10:19 There are characteristics attached to having an abundance of words: pride, lack of thought, and vain babbling. To speak & speak & speak shows a lack of a sense of need to listen, listen, listen; and therefore learn, learn, learn. A wise man withholds the words of his mouth. We need to put a dam on our mouth.

  34. 16

    Remove the Wasp

Preached Wednesday evening, August 28th. Proverbs 10:18 Hatred can slip into our hearts out of nowhere. Sometimes we have things in our lives that make us vulnerable to bitterness and hatred, such as pride, self-centeredness or dislike of authority. When hatred comes into your heart, forgive.

  35. 15

    When Love is Bad

Preached Sunday morning, August 18th. 1 John 2:15-17 The world is a system or culture of values and attitudes that are built and led by the devil to be what he wants it to be. May God help us to live for what is eternal. When we choose to love the world, we're choosing to live for things that will pass away and won't matter. "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

  36. 14

Taking an Axe to your Life

Preached Sunday evening, August 11th. Joshua 17:14 Is your vision bigger than your resources? Before you ask God for a bigger portion, ask yourself, are you doing everything you can with what He has already given you?

  37. 13

    Smother the Fire

Preached Wednesday, July 3rd. Proverbs 10:12. 2 Samuel 10. Would you consider yourself a hateful person or a loving person? We all experience offenses from people in our lives. How we handle the fire of sin and offense will reveal to us if we are hateful or loving. Hatred makes small offenses big. Love forgives quickly and often without the need for justice or an apology. This message challenges us to smother the fires of offense with love.

  38. 12

    A Productive Father

Preached on Sunday morning, Father's Day 2013 Genesis 4:26 "And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord." When a man goes to work each day, he knows he is there to produce. As clear as men are about what to do in the workplace, they are equally unclear about what their job of producing looks like at home. If you want to see spiritual kids in your home, then you need to be a spiritual man in your home. May God help us to raise up children who will "call upon the name of the Lord."

  39. 11

    Why the Wilderness

  45. 5

    Keeping Your Child's Heart

Preached Sunday Morning on August 5th, 2012 All parents want their children to have growth in their lives. But what are we really desiring to see grow? For many parents in today's culture, it is academics, athletics or the arts. For some it's obedience or for their child to be socially accepted. But if you were to ask Jesus on what we should desire to see grow...what would he say? Please take a listen on how to keep your child's heart.
