Prayer is not optional but central to following Jesus. In this this sermon, Pastor Josh shares on how prayer draws us into relationship with God, empowering us to intercede for the world, honestly bring our needs to Him, resist spiritual evil, and surrender our lives to His will.

This week our service is a round table discussion. We get a chance to talk about challenges that we have experienced during worship, times that we have been led by the Spirit in worship, and how we are hopeful for the Spirit to lead us moving forward.

Why do Christians worship? This sermon teaches that true worship is not about religious systems, traditions, or outward actions but about becoming the kind of people who worship the Father "in Spirit and in truth." True worship begins with God's pursuit of us, is led by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the truth of Christ and Scripture, and ultimately reveals Jesus in a way that transforms both individual lives and the world around us.

This week our service is a discussion style gathering where we talk about how to engage with Scripture and turn the words we read into prayers for our life.Next time you read the Bible, consider these questions:What did God reveal to you?  What did you learn? What has God done in this passage? What is God inviting you into? Then, turn God's invitation into a prayer request.

Why do Christians gather together in church? This week Pastor Josh preaches on how the Church is an essential part of God's design for the Christian life. Through the biblical images of the household of God, the body of Christ, and the temple of the Holy Spirit, we see that God uses the Church to give believers family, purpose, and His presence, equipping them to grow in faith together and embody Christ's love in the world.

This week Pastor Josh starts a new series talking about the importance of key things in the Christian faith; and he kicks off the series with the importance of Scripture. The Bible is the Word of God- it instructs, reveals, testifies and invites.

Pastor Josh closes our parables series with a sermon on the parable of the Wedding Fest. This sermon is a reminder of God's persistent invitation to all of us, and a call to wake up and respond to the Gospel with full participation. 

This week Pastor Josh teaches that forgiveness is not about trying harder to be more merciful, but about entering the new life of Christ where, having faced both our own sin and our wounds, we receive God’s undeserved mercy and extend that same mercy to others through the example of the crucified Jesus.

This week Pastor Jordan joins us and preaches on the Parable of the Ten Virgins. We learn that everything Jesus does is to call us closer into relationship with him. An expectant relationship with Him that produces enduring spiritual readiness through intimacy, dependence, and perseverance in the wait for His return.

This sermon teaches that the kingdom of God grows through deep, hidden roots of intimacy with Jesus. This is an intimacy formed over time through endurance and uprooting rival loves, that ultimately produces lasting spiritual fruit both inwardly and outwardly.

This week Elly preaches on how the kingdom of heaven is the greatest treasure we can find, worth surrendering every lesser pursuit because true wealth is found not in accumulation or balance, but in being rich in God, relationships, and purpose through wholehearted devotion to Christ.

We start a new sermon series tonight with Pastor Josh preaching on the parables of the mustard seed and leaven. We learn how God’s Kingdom begins in small, hidden, often overlooked places but grows powerfully over time to bring life, transformation, and blessing to the world through faithful, quiet obedience.

This week Pastor Josh closed our series on Leviticus with a sermon on the scapegoat. While sin is  deep and fractures our relationships with God, others, and the world, the scapegoat points to Christ, who ultimately removes sin so we can live truly free rather than merely managing it.

This week Pastor Josh preached on the liturgy of love. Loving your neighbor as yourself means practicing an everyday, sometimes inconvenient, and always honest love that reflects God’s holiness.

God, the Holy One, will always make a way for those who are “outside the camp” to be restored to life and community—ultimately fulfilled in Jesus, who pursues people, cleanses them, and invites them back into God’s presence so that His people can help bring others home.

When our sin and brokenness are exposed, God invites us into a the work of repair—owning our sin, making restitution with others, and receiving the atoning grace of Jesus, who removes our guilt and restores us to right relationship with God and people.

This week our series on the Power and Presence of God transitions from Exodus to Leviticus. Pastor Josh preaches on the whole burnt offering where he reminds us of how worship is meant to be costly and that God calls us to surrender the whole of our lives to him.

This week Pastor Josh takes us through the Tabernacle in Exodus 25 and shows us how the Tabernacle is a journey into God’s presence—through blood, blessing, and beauty. The Tabernacle is reflected and fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the true Tabernacle, whose sacrifice makes a way for sinful people to dwell with a holy God not by ritual striving but by grace-filled faith and obedience.

Pastor Aidan joins us this week with a sermon on trusting God. In Exodus 32 we see how people gravitate towards idols when we lose faith in God. But through his love, mercy, and covenant, he invites us back to him.

This week Pastor Josh preaches on the Ten Commandments. These are not ancient rules but covenant vows showing us how to live in relationship with God and one another.

Pastor Blake shares with us this week on how God graciously delivered Israel and called them at Sinai to be a kingdom of priests. God does not need us, but lovingly invites us into communion with Him, shaping our identity by grace and sending us to live as a royal priesthood who reflect His love to the world.

We start a new series this week with Pastor Josh preaching on how the presence of God is transformative in our lives. The power of God brings freedom and the love and presence of God purify us - getting the Egypt out of us.

Our friend, Russell, preaches this week on the importance of standing firm in every season by anchoring our identity in who God is and who we are in Christ—sons and daughters, servants, stewards, soldiers, and saints. It is a call to reject shame as the enemy’s primary tactic and to choose to abide in the Lord, living a life worthy of our calling, and to finish well together.

Pastor Josh kicks of the new year with a sermon on how the Holy Spirit doesn’t just save us but forms us out of chaos into new creation, fills us as God’s living temple and inviting us into a deeper, transforming relationship with God that changes both who we are and how we live.

"God is with us" is the key reminder of this sermon in the second week of our Advent series. Advent is about God’s faithful presence in our past, His sufficient provision in our present, and His promised fulfillment for our future—offered to all, but received only by the humble who trust that God Himself is the true answer to our deepest loneliness and need.

The first week of our Advent series begins with Pastor Josh reminding us that Jesus invites us into the wilderness. The wilderness is not comfortable, it is a place of testing, waiting, and surrender. But the wilderness is also a place of transformation—where He transforms struggle into renewal and trains us to trust His presence as the place of true redemption.

Pastor Josh preaches on the armor of God this week and reminds us of the importance of being spiritually prepared.

This week Pastor Josh preaches on how the gospel affects all of our relationships by reminding us that the way we interact with one another should be out of a reverence to Christ and love for him.

One of our NLYA Mentors, Russell, preaches for us tonight on Ephesians 4:1-16. Russell emphasizes our importance to live a life worthy of God's calling, which begins by being rooted in His love. This looks like character, unity, and maturity, all being rooted in God's love.

This week Pastor Josh talks about the divine love of God. God's love is a blessing, a gift, and our aim in life.

Pastor Josh continues in our Ephesians series this week by showing us how God has always worked through covenants to bring people into identity, authority, and access with Him. We, who were once outsiders, now can confidently declare that we belong to the family of God because of Christ.

We need to recognize our need for God. Pastor Josh reminds us of the importance of acknowledging the depth of our sin and our need for God's mercy. This sermon will remind you how you were made alive, invited to live not by your own efforts, but by His life and works in us.

This week Pastor Blake joins us and preaches on how we become saints. It is not by our faith, works, or worthiness, but solely through what God has done for us in Christ. As we continually say “yes” to God’s “yes” we are transformed.

Our Ephesians series kicks off this week! Pastor Josh starts the series with a reminder of how God is remaking the world through blessing ,and calling Christians to extend that same blessing to others, even enemies, as a reflection of Christ’s love.

This week Pastor Josh encourages our community to seek deep spiritual renewal by slowing down, connecting with others, and encountering Jesus personally. God longs for us to know Him fully.

This week Pastor Josh preaches on 1 Peter 2:1–12, reminding us that the Church is more than a spiritual social club, we are called to be God’s presence in the world, formed by Christ.
