Sermon Title: Those Who Trust in God's Protection, Do Not Have to FearToday we continue in Psalms 91 picking up in verses 5-10. Last week we learned of God's promise for deliverance and this week, in light of knowing His promise to deliver us and protect us, verse 5 tells us we do not need to fear. Those who trust in God have no fear.Fear is all around us today and it infiltrates our minds. A quote someone once said is that "if the enemy can get us to be afraid, then it can paralyze us. We continue in Psalms 91 and see three promises of God's protection and providence for us. When we dwell in the Lord, we have Deliverance from the snares, suffering, and hardship in this world. Tradition tells us what a holy life looks like but it turns out, it's a list of Do's and Dont's, and mostly the latter.
