In  Matthew 6:9-13 Jesus instructs us on how topray.  “Prayer is essential for spiritual intimacy, personal transformation, emotional support, and communal intercession. It is both a privilege and a responsibility, offering believers a way to experience God’s presence, guidance, and power in their lives while fostering growth, peace, and alignment with His will “  Take advantage of this gracious offer to bring all your needs to God, “Our Father”.

In Matthew 4:19 Jesus said, “Come, follow me”.  This is an invitation for each of us to walk with Him.  This invitation is for now, not later when it is convenient.  Are you ready to follow Jesus?  Are you listening?  I can guarantee that you will never get a better invitation; so, don’t miss Him extending that personal invitation to you.  There is no better day than  today to begin your “Journey with Jesus”!

God has a plan for you.  You can resist or be a part of His plan, but keep in mind that it should always be “thine will be done”, not “my will be done.” 

We all have burdens to carry.  Is your load of burdens weighing you down?  Is your load of burdens filling your mind?  Do they make you ill?  The great thing is that you can lighten the load – bring it to the foot of the Cross.  Jesus will meet you there!

The sooner we recognize that we aren't in control, God is,the easier it is to navigate life. God will never steer you wrong. Look at God for direction, and you can be assured that where you heading is exactly whereyou need to be.

Prayer is how we talk with God and grow in our relationship with Him. It’s not just a routine—it’s something that changes us and helps us follow His will.

As we approach the country’s 250th anniversary,we must remember where true freedom comes from; not from man, but from God.  So, what does Biblical freedom mean? It is the freedom that God offers throughout Scripture. It is freedom from the enslaving power of sin in our lives. Spiritual freedom is a free gift and yours for the taking. 

David a young shepherd, takes up the challenge to battleGoliath, who is a giant and feared by all.  Before this fight, most people would've said David didn't stand a chance. But David showed that “with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37). With God's help, you can stand your ground with faith and be triumphant.  What or who is your Goliath?  With God, you too can slay your Goliath.  Don’t stay in fear – with God’s help, you’ve got this!

When you were younger, did you ever find yourself standing in a group, waiting for a team captain to call your name? As they call out names for their team, you wonder why you are being chosen. Well, the good news is that Christ has already chosen you to be on His team.

Do you wonder if God can use you? When He calls you to action, do you answer or do you feel like you are qualified to undertake the task? There is a quote, "God doesn't call the qualified: He qualifies the called". "Rather than seeking perfect skills, credentials, or experience, God looks at faith, willingness, and the heart." Are you ready for action when called?

In Pastor Kevin’s final sermon, he reminds us that the mission of Jesus has not changed.Jesus looks at the brokenness of the world with compassion, calls His people to pray, and then sends them into the harvest with His power and presence.We are still called to be a church of found, formed, and sent people who carry good news to a world that desperately needs it.

God’s promises were never meant to be diplomas to display, but clothes to wear.This week’s message from 2 Peter 1 explored what it means to pursue spiritual formation and grow as disciples of Jesus through Spirit-fueled participation and obedience.God has already given us everything we need for a godly life through Christ. In Acts 13, the people of Pisidian Antioch hear the message of Jesus and are faced with how they will respond.

They’re told that through Jesus, forgiveness is offered and new life is available. But even with that clarity, people respond in very different ways. Some lean in and want more. Others push back and walk away.
As we look at their story, we learn that…Transformation requires decision.Discipleship requires hunger.Mission requires discernment.

“For the joy set before him, he endured the cross. Hebrews 12:2Good Friday invites us to fix our eyes on Jesus and remember the love that led him to the cross. It invites us to pray, "may the Lamb who was slain receive the reward of his suffering."

Life doesn’t always go the way we expect. In Acts 9:36–42, we learn how to trust God in life’s hardest moments and build our faith in his ability to do the impossible.

Who in your life feels “too far gone”? Saul once breathed threats against the church… and yet God transformed him into a powerful witness. We must remember that God is still in the business of transformation today.

In Acts 8, a misfit traveled 1,500 miles searching for God and longing for hope. In the middle of the search God sent him a messenger to rewrite his story. God has made the gospel for everyone and he has empowered us to share it with those around us.AskGet answers, explore topics, and more.

The gospel still changes lives. There is no philosophy, worldview, or spiritual power stronger than Jesus.But there’s a warning in Acts 8: You can want the power of God without actually surrendering to God.
