Music Monday Ep. 157: This week we explore a TDE rockstar, Isaiah Rashad! He has a new album that will be released tomorrow, May 1st. The album is titled, 'IT'S BEEN AWFUL'. The song that I listened to is the lead single off of this album titled, 'SAME SH!T'. I'm not lying when I say that this song puts you into a state of hypnosis. I've listened to countless times throughout this week while driving in my black Honda Ridgeline truck. It only gets more smooth with multiple listens. Isaiah I think at this point in time is the king creating certain moods and vibes through the sounds of his tracks. Music Monday Ep. 156: This week we return back to Bilmuri. His album, 'KINDA HARD' recently just dropped. For the purpose of this reaction, I got to check the song and title track, 'KINDA HARD' as well as, 'MORE THAN HATE'. I have to say the more that I listen to this guy, the more I start to become a fan of him. I have heard nothing but quality music come from this man. He blends so many sounds together so well. Music Monday Ep. 155: This week we introduce a new artist to the channel! The Queen, Miss Ella Langley and she just dropped her new album, "Dandelion" on April 10th. The song I did a reaction for is actually the title track, 'Dandelion' and it couldn't have been more fantastic on first listen. She has a masterful way of describing things and making her lyrics full of depth. The music was great. The music video was simple, yet it packed a bunch. Music Monday Ep. 154: This week I was able to check out a unreleased song from Wiz Khalifa & MGK. Wiz previewed the song on his twitch stream. These two will tour later this year for mgk's 'lost americana tour'. The song is called, 'i see the world in blue'. Music Monday Ep. 153: This week we return to Tom MacDonald. The newest song that he dropped is called, "ANTI". He is making the claim that everyone involved in the 'Epstein Files' is anti-christ. I went on one of my long rants, basically trying to figure out why we're involved in the war in the Middle East right now. I know I am not the only American who is sharing this frustration. Music Monday Ep. 152: This week I was able to discover who Bilmuri is. He teamed up with the powerhouse known as A Day to Remember to create the beautifully crafted song, "ALWAYS LET YOU DOWN". I was also able to catch the official music video for this reaction. Music Monday Ep. 151: This week we have another new band that is introduced to the channel! For the first time, I am reacting to TOOL. This is an older song, "Forty Six & 2". My client, Chad told me to do some reactions on them and then one of my best friends, Dakota has also been a big fan of this group for a long time. Music Monday Ep. 150: This week we indulge in such a tasty treat, which is a Mac Miller and Thundercat collaboration. The team up on the song, 'She Knows Too Much'. There is also a animated music video that goes along with the track. This joint feels funky, groovy, and psychedelic. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything less. The chemistry is easy to identify when these super powers team up. You can tell they were true friends at the end of the day. Music Monday Ep. 149: This week we check out a collaboration that turned out to be pretty sick. Knocked Loose and Denzel Curry team up on the track, 'Hive Mind'. I was also able to watch the music video. It is amazing when you get to see three of your favorite worlds collide. Metal, Rap/Hip Hop, and Skateboarding. Music Monday Ep. 148: We have another return the channel, which is Mr. Tom MacDonald. The is called, "Pray For The Left". I was also able to watch the music video on this. As expected from the title, Tom is his views on the democratic side of the aisle. Some of the things he says in this song are very accurate and should be considered by everyone who listens to the track. Music Monday Ep. 147: This week we have Ren returning to the channel. I listened to one of his newest songs, "Vincent's Tale - Starry Night". I was also blessed with watching the music video. Ren really killed it on this song, as he tends to do with every of his that I've ever heard. The constant switching of different sounds really keeps you on your toes throughout the whole experience. Music Monday Ep. 146: This week we have a collection of three new artists on the channel. Maxo Kream, Denzel Curry, and JPEGMAFIA teamed up on the song, "FAKE JEEZY". A lot of high energy was displayed from Curry and Kream. JPEG offers no feature on the track but apparently his contribution was by producing the song. I also got to check out the music video. Music Monday Ep. 145: This week we go right back to A$AP Rocky. His new album, "Don't Be Dumb" dropped last Friday. In this video I review the first song off of that album, "ORDER OF PROTECTION". Rocky is back in full force on this album. So far from what I have heard off of the project, it sounds just as experimental as, "Testing" did. The song I listened to is the first single off of that album. It is titled, "Punk Rocky". Since the recording of this video he has dropped another single, "Helicopter". Music Monday Ep. 143: This week I take on a suggestion from my mom. She has been telling me for awhile that I should check out the song, "Carolina Drama" by The Raconteurs. There are a bunch of lyrics and storytelling going on in this song, so it was a little hard to follow that aspect. I really enjoyed the instrumental throughout the song though. I kept saying in the reaction that it has a frenetic pace to it and that guitar pulsed itself all the way through the entire song. Music Monday Ep. 142: This week we explore Tyler, the Creator once again. On Christmas Day this year he dropped a new song titled, "SAG HARBOR". It also coming with a nicely wrapped music video. His flows on this song are fantastic. The instrumental is great. His harmonies and singing is beautiful. Nobody does it quite like this man. Music Monday Ep. 136: This week we continue the theme of Tom MacDonald. It is a somber and heavy moment though. We are talking about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The song from Tom is called, "CHARLIE". I also watched the music video. It is really short at 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I wonder how Tom gets these song and videos out so quickly when a major event happens, just like the time when Donald Trump was grazed in the ear. The emotions and the rawness are well evident in this reaction and I will not apologize for that. Music Monday Ep. 135: This week we return to Tom MacDonald for a music reaction. Within the last few weeks, he dropped a song, "The Devil Is A Democrat". There is also a music video that he dropped for this song. It appears that Tom is going after the California politician, Gavin Newsom in this song. Apparently Gavin has since had his own response to Tom's song. The stab from Newsom is highly ironic because he claims Tom likes men. Music Monday Ep. 134: This week we bring back to the channel one of my favorite artists of all time, Earl Sweatshirt. He is a dad now of two. He is married. The song I chose to listen to is called, "TOURMALINE". The new album he dropped is, "Live Laugh Love". And it feels like Earl is actually embracing that title. He life noe exuberates living, laughing, and loving. Cool to see him make this transition from other darker albums like Feet Of Clay, I Don't Like Shit I Don't Go Outside, and Some Rap Songs. In this video I react to the final minutes of Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers. We finally won a title and it feels so good. Since I became a Thunder fan during the 2011-12 season, I've been waiting patiently for this moment. Through the James Harden trade, Kevin Durant leaving, Paul George getting traded, Russ getting traded, and in 2016 letting the Warriors come back from being down 3-1. Music Monday Ep. 128: Music Monday is officially back!! This week I spent time listening to, reviewing, and watching music video to Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter. This song immediately feels like a summer bop. I imagine it will be played over and over again on the airwaves. I really dug the song though. I don't even think it is the best part in all honesty. Been awhile since I posted a new video on the channel so I apologize for that. Also been awhile since I did a music reaction for Music Monday. I've had a lot going on in my life here recently and that is why it has taken so long. One of those things is deciding I was going to road trip down to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for Game 2 of the NBA Finals to watch my Oklahoma City Thunder team play the Indiana Pacers. Music Monday Ep. 127: Falling In Reverse and Ronnie Radke return to the channel! This time they team up with Marilyn Manson on the song and music video for, "God is a Weapon". I love the moments in this song where it all gets heavy. The verses and the singing for me will take a second to get used to. Once again, Falling In Reverse kills it with the insane visuals and cinematic experience on the music video. Music Monday Ep. 126: This week we are listening to a band that has never popped up on the channel before. This is a band that I used to jam all the time back in high school. To me, their sound is very reminiscent of A Day To Remember and that is probably one of the biggest reasons why I love their music. This song I listened to is from 2021. In this video I detail why I made the decision to move out of my current apartment and to live with my parents once again. I have lived in this spot for almost 5 years now. It is going to be hard to say goodbye to this cozy pad. I'm thankful for all the memories I got to hold in this special place.
