A Little Thing We Like to Call... Consent

In this episode Lisa and Laurea discuss consent as it relates to energy work, physical touch, and spiritual practices and begin by asking whether energy should ever be sent to someone without permission, and agree that consent is essential. The ladies talk about examples from yoga, Reiki, and other healing settings, including adjustments or interventions that can feel invasive when they are done without asking. They also share personal experiences of receiving work without consent and how unsettling that felt.Laurea then extends the conversation to animals, babies, children, and people who cannot consent directly, such as someone in a coma. In those cases, she suggests asking permission from caregivers and from the person’s higher self or subconscious, and both note that they do this before offering any healing or communication. They also discuss mediumship and spontaneous messages from spirit or animals and say that when information comes through unexpectedly, you still need to be careful about whether and how to share it, and first ask the living person whether they want to receive it.Another topic is working with someone’s subconscious during energy sessions and checking whether a person actually needs help at that time, and Laurea shares an example where the subconscious indicated that no further work was needed and the body was already processing what it needed to process.Lisa brings up the topic of using energy in spaces or situations, such as cars, conversations, or yoga classes, to support clear communication or safety and they close by emphasizing personal space and the importance of asking before touching anyone, including in medical settings.HIGHLIGHTS:1:08 Energy Work Boundaries5:52 Blanket Consent10:17 Animals and Mediumship15:36 Listening to the Subconscious18:50 No Bypassing Lessons21:20 Space Energy and Intention24:19 Personal Space Matters27:12 Ask Before Touchingconnect with Lisa & LaureaText Lisa & Laurea: 510-736-0102https://www.offroadspirituality.comhttps://www.laureatweedy.com@laureatweedy on IG and TikTokhttps://www.lisamechler.com@pocket_yogi on IGLisa on FB https://www.facebook.com/lisamechlerwellness Produced by Line Brunet, Podcast MavenMusic by Alana Jordan

In this episode Lisa and Laurea speak with Lindsay Ashcraft, an Emmy award-winning former TV news producer who now runs an animal communication business called Paws and Listen. Energy Healing & Angels: After Near Death Experience with Thomas Gates

Thomas Gates returns to discuss the healing abilities he says emerged after his near-death experience, including a first healing case with his girlfriend’s ankle and the method he later termed “Healing Spectrums for Health and Wholeness.” He describes seeing color as frequency, acting as a facilitator rather than a healer, and viewing emotions and trauma as physiological processes that can be addressed through stillness and specific brainwave states. The conversation with Lisa and Laurea also covers his beliefs about angelic presence, including healing angels, a watcher angel, and a guardian angel he says protected him in a dangerous situation. He concludes by saying his healing sessions are safe because they do not force change, but instead support coherence in the body and consciousness.HIGHLIGHTS:1:50 First Healing Discovery10:37 Naming the Healing Spectrums11:50 Why Thomas Is a Facilitator19:22 Stillness and Brainwaves22:38 Talk Therapy and Somatics28:53 Trance Session Memories31:36 Meeting the Angelic Realm37:56 Is Healing Spectrums Right?connect with Thomas:website: https://thomasgates.comconnect with Lisa & LaureaText Lisa & Laurea: 510-736-0102https://www.offroadspirituality.comhttps://www.laureatweedy.com@laureatweedy on IG and TikTokhttps://www.lisamechler.com@pocket_yogi on IGLisa on FB https://www.facebook.com/lisamechlerwellness Produced by Line Brunet, Podcast MavenMusic by Alana Jordan

The Story of Your Akashic Records & What It Means to You with Christine DiGinto

In this episode of Off-Road Spirituality, Lisa and Laurea had the pleasure of speaking with Christine DiGinto, a multifaceted healer and practitioner of the Akashic Records. Christine's journey into healing began out of personal necessity, leading her to embrace her abilities as both a channel and a death doula. We explored her wide array of healing modalities, including hypnotherapy, psychedelic integration, crystal and gemstone healing, sound healing, and EMDR therapy.Christine provided a captivating explanation of what the Akashic Records represent, describing them as the subconscious of the collective conscious mind—a frequency field of information accessible to us all. She emphasized that when we access these records, we receive only what we are ready to understand and integrate into our current life journeys. They discussed how precise questioning is vital for accessing deeper insights and Christine shares her perspective on the information she receives during readings and her reflections on the importance of sharing all insights, no matter how peculiar they may seem, highlight the necessity of trust in the process. An integral part of the discussion revolves around the distinctions between Akashic Records readings and past life regression. Christine noted how Akashic readings can point to energetic distortions without resolving them, while past life regressions offer a deeper experiential understanding, allowing clients to reshape their own energetic matrices. She also points out that even practitioners can experience blocks due to their egos and also touched on the interconnectedness of experiences among practitioners, where insights gained from others can often shine light on our personal journeys.HIGHLIGHTS:1:56 Understanding Akashic Records4:25 Sharing Insights with Clients6:57 Christine’s Journey to Akashic Work9:29 Personal Healing Through Practice11:33 The Impact of Akashic Readings12:34 Akashic vs. Past Life Regression18:14 Different Perspectives on Akashic Records28:50 Lessons from the Akashic Experienceconnect with Christinewebsite: https://www.digintoconsulting.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/hyacinthhealingconnect with Lisa & LaureaText Lisa & Laurea: 510-736-0102https://www.offroadspirituality.comhttps://www.laureatweedy.com@laureatweedy on IG and TikTokhttps://www.lisamechler.com@pocket_yogi on IGLisa on FB https://www.facebook.com/lisamechlerwellness Produced by Line Brunet, Podcast MavenMusic by Alana Jordan
