What would you do when the truth stares you in the face like a death sentence? At that moment, would you choose truth or convenience?Most times, saying "yes" is easier than saying "no." But taking a stand means your words align with your actions, even when it's uncomfortable.One of the greatest yardsticks for knowing when to say yes or no is your fear of God and your desire to honour Him above everything else.In this episode, we look at men in Scripture who chose truth over convenience. Daniel refused to defile himself with the king's food (Daniel 1:8–16), while Joseph fled from Potiphar's wife rather than compromise his integrity (Genesis 39:7–12).Whether in your workplace, relationships, leadership, academics, or everyday life, there will always be opportunities to compromise. The question is: Will you stand for the truth when it costs you something?Taking a stand requires courage. It requires audacity. But above all, it requires a heart that fears God more than it fears the consequences of obedience.

Should honour be earned, or is it a command from God?In this episode, we look at what God's Word says about honouring our parents. Honour is not based on a parent's performance, perfection, or whether they've always gotten it right. God's instruction to honour our father and mother is unconditional.One thing many of us overlook is this: The blessing attached to honour benefits the child, not the parent.We also talk about difficult family dynamics and why, in some cases, honour may look different. Sometimes, honour can be from a distance if closeness continually leads to dishonour. Other times, it means choosing to overlook a parent's shortcomings, not because they were right, but because you choose to obey God's Word.Our parents are human too. They can make mistakes. But let's not allow another person's imperfections to make us miss the blessings attached to our obedience.

When the devil tempts a man, he never creates an escape route because his goal is to make you fall. This is completely different when God tests a man. His grace always provides an escape route for everyone who is willing to submit to His authority.God can never be the source of temptation!
