The Fifth Commandment given to Moses was to honor father and Mother...  The Lord our God has always honored women in scripture.  Women have been instrumental in the formation of the Chosen People, Israel, as well as many important points in Old Testament history.  Certainly without a woman the Savior could not have come as He did.  God bless our mom's.

Psalm 133 gives us a beautiful prophetic picture of the blessings of unity conveyed to us through our Great High Priest Jesus Christ.

Israel's first king serves as our example of the power and pitfalls of the anointing.  As kings and priests unto our God we are to be anointed as Jesus was to walk in the power and purity of the Holy Spirit.  The pathway to a good finish in life is the way of humility.

As a part of our understanding of the anointing  we must acknowledge that Jesus warned us about false Christs, false prophets, and false teachers.  The closer we get to the return of Jesus the greater the enemy's deception will be.

Pastor Pat Shares some thoughts on the anointing and encourages us to see ourselves not as individual Christians only but as connected with all of the saints to something greater and eternal.

The importance of faith in God, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is in you, He will give life to your mortal body.  Our lives in Christ Jesus are animated by the Holy Spirit and no longer by our selfish nature. 

Continuing with the Anointing of the Holy Spirit we look at Jesus and the apostles, the early Church, and then make application for our lives today. 

While considering the lives of Joshua and Elisha we learn how to live our lives in such a way as to draw the Anointing of the Holy Spirit to us.

In the midst of Paul's end time teachings he exhorts us toward healthy traditions, sound preaching, and sound doctrine.

Some thoughts on Revelation Chapter 5.  Beloved we have great hope in our God who has all power and has wonderful plans for us in eternity future.

Psalm 29 reveals the power of God's voice.  His voice is overall and His desire is that we know and hear His voice as He desires to speak into and over our lives.

The Word of God is powerful.  When the Lord speaks to us or through us His power is released to accomplish what He has spoken.  We can know when the Lord is speaking because it aligns with the written word the Bible, and He  accomplishes what was spoken.

The Word of God, the Bible is our plumb line, it is the measure whereby we judge what is true and what is not.  The Lord loves us and desires to speak to our hearts.  If we believe He has spoken to us it must align with the scriptures.

The Lord Jesus our Good Shepherd desires to speak to our hearts.  We are called to be near Him in an intimate relationship and to hear and understand His voice.  This begins for us as believers through knowing His Word the Bible so that when He speaks to our hearts we can know that it is Him because it aligns with His written word.

The focus on God's Word in the coming year 2026.

We have been granted access to the throne of grace through the blood of Jesus.

All of the promises of God are yes and amen in Christ.  We need to understand what those promises are and how they apply to our lives.

In His Famous Sermon on the Mount Jesus gives us an outlline of what Christianity looks like lived in the community of faith.  It is an outline of the Culture of the Kigndom of God, its shared attitudes, shared morays, shared beliefs, and shared values.  As we assimilate into the culture of the kingdom of God we shine light a holy city set on a hill.  A beacon of hope for all those around us.

Jesus shares with us how to live out our faith within the community of believers.

Jesus reveals the shared attitudes, morays, beliefs, and values of the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Reformers need a new reformation.
