People Not Property
by Caroline
Most people would agree, on a surface level, with the following statement: "People are not property." But do we act like it? Would we run businesses or politics differently if we lived by this principle? If we actually believed this, would we treat service workers, immigrants, people with disabilities, children,... all people the same way we do now? And if most of us believe people are not property, then why are instances of human trafficking on the rise?In this podcast, we discuss how we treat others, and what it would look like if we treated people like image bearers of God.
