We are jumping into a new series on Jonah. The book of Jonah isn't primarily about a fish--it's the story of a faithful God pursuing a wayward heart. Through Jonah, we will learn together about God's relentless mercy for everyone. Sometimes God sends storms not to punish us, but to rescue us. Today, we examine the story of the big fish (not whale!!). Becoming an adult seems to make Christmas less fun, but God wants us to experience this season through the eyes of a child. Passage: Luke 18:15-17 NOTE: We are in a series called Christmas At The Movies in which we are looking at various Christmas movies and how the theology within the movies can speak to our own lives. We encourage you to watch the movie before each week. Here are the movies: December 24 - A Christmas Carol We will be gathering at 10am on Christmas Eve for a Cafe Style Christmas Eve. You are welcome to join us on the turf next to the Sanctuary! We will also have three online gatherings on Christmas Eve: 4:00pm- Children's Program 7pm & 9pm - Christmas Eve Service Plus, from 5-8pm on Christmas Eve, we will have an open sanctuary for a "walk through" while Bryan and Alicia play Christmas music, followed by a "live nativity".  ----------------- We are now gathering in-person for our Cafe Service on Sundays at 9:45am in the Sanctuary Lawn (formerly the Sanctuary Handicap Lot).
