    021 PromoDJ show

Episode 021 – Pico Boulevard [South Wales, UK] Since 1995, music has been a lifelong journey for Pico Boulevard, a progressive trance producer from South Wales, UK. What began as self-taught experimentation in FL Studio evolved into a full-fledged passion, eventually leading him to earn a degree in Sound Engineering and a master’s in Music Production and Engineering, with a specialization in Spatial Audio. After a reflective hiatus in his mid-twenties, Pico returned with renewed clarity and intent. His debut releases on JOOF Recordings — including "We’re All the Same" and "Bandersnatch" — marked a powerful re-entry into the scene. His hypnotic and emotionally charged sound quickly earned recognition and support from legendary artists like John 00 Fleming, Paul Van Dyk, Solarstone, Ferry Tayle, and Suzy Solar. Notable tracks such as "Another Time" (featured on Pure Trance Vol. 9), "Close Your Eyes", "Oblivion", "Xenomorph", "The Time Tripper", and "Retroplex" reflect Pico’s deep-rooted philosophy: that every track is less a performance and more a personal sonic journal. His recent collaboration with Malaysian artist Su San on "The Sun" introduced a fresh blend of Progressive House and Deep Trance, offering a refined soundscape at 124 BPM. Beyond his studio work, Pico co-hosts Sound Escape Radio with Sean Furlong, curating the DEEP mix series — an introspective sonic journey that values emotional resonance over formulaic presentation. Recent standout releases like "Everybody’s Nobody" on Forescape Digital and "Entheogen" (with Deestopia, released on JOOF Recordings) showcase his affinity for textured atmospheres and cinematic depth, continuing his mission to push the boundaries of Progressive and Trance sounds. https://www.instagram.com/picoboulevarddj/ https://linktr.ee/picoboulevard?utm_source=linktree_profile_share&ltsid=be88d021-0033-48ef-878c-cd3b80d7c43a

Episode 012 This episode features Fedo, a musician and producer based in Spain, whose deep-rooted connection to rhythm and love for raw, live energy shapes everything he creates. Blending the hypnotic space of minimal and deep house with a passion for live improvisation, Fedo’s music feels like a meditative dance — immersive, organic, and deeply human. Each of his tracks unfolds slowly, guided by warm sub-bass, layered textures, and grooves that feel as natural as breathing. Crafted in Ableton Live, his process leans more toward live jams than traditional studio production, giving his sound a unique sense of spontaneity and soul. His live sets reflect this approach — a balance between form and freedom, designed to adapt and evolve in the moment. At the core of Fedo’s sonic world is rhythm. With drums as his favorite instrument, he builds every composition from the inside out — with movement, with pulse, with intention. His music invites not just dance, but introspection. “I write a track and release it into the Universe,” he says — and that spirit of openness is present in every note. The fourth episode of our show continues the journey into electronic soundscapes, bringing you the story of an artist whose musical evolution spans decades and genres. From Kyiv to Limassol: A Journey Through Sound His love affair with electronic music began back in the early '90s, a time when the underground scene was just starting to take shape. From that moment on, his musical taste was firmly rooted in the world of electronic sound. While his first experiments with DJing started around the same time, it wasn't until 2003 that he truly immersed himself in the art of mixing and performing. His early sets were infused with the smooth grooves of House and Deep House, but beneath the surface, the raw energy of Techno and Schranz was always pulsing within him. As his skills evolved and his confidence grew, he made a bold transition—fully embracing the intensity of Techno / Schranz. This shift not only defined his sound but also earned him recognition as a Schranz DJ, known for his high-energy, relentless sets. But music, much like life, is an ever-changing journey. Over time, his artistic vision expanded, leading him back to the deeper, more refined realms of Deep House and classic Techno. Today, as an independent artist, he seamlessly blends the digital precision of controllerism with the warm, organic soul of vinyl, crafting performances that are as immersive as they are dynamic. Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, now based in Limassol, Cyprus, he continues to push boundaries, bridging genres and eras, always staying true to his passion for electronic music.
