In the words of Canon H. P. Liddon, this institution was to be both ‘a home of sacred learning, and a rallying point of the Christian faith’. Pusey House was founded to be a center, community, and home, of theological study, worship, and pastoral care in the hope that we may send out rooted disciples for parishes and communities. This means that the house will not only promote those greater majestic studies, which attend on Christian theology, but also examine the ever-changing fashion of the day.
