Questions We Live By

We’re not short of answers. We’re short of questions worth living with. The questions we carry shape us more than the answers we arrive at. They decide what we notice, what we’re willing to risk, who we become while we’re still working them out. Most never resolve, and that isn’t a failure. I changed my relationship with questions after reading Rilke‘s „Letters to a Young Poet“, where he told a young writer to be patient with everything unresolved in him, to love the questions themselves, and to live them rather than chase answers he wasn’t ready to hold. This is a podcast about those questions, and the people carrying them. Each episode is one unhurried conversation. We start with a story rather than an opinion, because that’s where the honest material is: a room, a year, the moment something shifted. Then we follow it: what shaped someone, what it cost, what they’d do differently, what they’re still trying to understand.Have a listen! Let me know what you think, and what questions

On Learning to Breathe, and Learning to Listen - with Erik

What if you're not broken, but just out of practice? Erik spent years in banking and consulting before a string of life-shaking months sent him searching for something deeper. We talk about trauma as a teacher, why the body answers faster than the mind, what breathwork actually is - and how to begin tonight, with five quiet minutes before bed.

  2. 2

On Striving, Settling, and The Cities We Make Ours - with Jake

What makes you feel at home in a city? What keeps you chasing, even when you've already arrived? Jake spent two and a half years in New York and came back to Berlin with a head full of questions. We talk about striving, settling, the hours nobody posts on Instagram, and the small encounters that quietly rearrange how you see the world.

  3. 1

The Stories We Choose to Live — with Micheal

A playful and reflective conversation with my close friend Mike about life phases, career choices, self-development, and the questions that quietly shape who we become. We explore what it means to create your own narrative instead of inheriting one - and along the way, maybe leave you with a few questions of your own.
