Gratitude Rules! God never canceled anyone, if that’s the case He would have canceled you. But God forgave you of all your sins when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Forgive others of their sin as God has forgiven you. Accept the people God sends to you or your church building with the LOVE OF GOD. Do not push them with your prejudices that come in many different forms. Prejudice is not just about the color of someone else’s skin. Many Christians are prejudiced about people's lifestyles as well. We must ALL DO BETTER MOVING FORWARD. WE ARE FAMILY

    Humility and repentance.

Romans 1:18-27The Message Ignoring God Leads to a Downward Spiral18-23 But God’s angry displeasure erupts as acts of human mistrust and wrongdoing and lying accumulate, as people try to put a shroud over truth. But the basic reality of God is plain enough. Open your eyes and there it is! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can’t see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse. What happened was this: People knew God perfectly well, but when they didn’t treat him like God, refusing to worship him, they trivialized themselves into silliness and confusion so that there was neither sense nor direction left in their lives. They pretended to know it all, but were illiterate regarding life. They traded the glory of God who holds the whole world in his hands for cheap figurines you can buy at any roadside stand.24-25 So God said, in effect, “If that’s what you want, that’s what you get.” It wasn’t long before they were living in a pigpen, smeared with filth, filthy inside and out. And all this because they traded the true God for a fake god, and worshiped the god they made instead of the God who made them—the God we bless, the God who blesses us. Oh, yes!26-27 Worse followed. Refusing to know God, they soon didn’t know how to be human either—women didn’t know how to be women, men didn’t know how to be men. Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men—all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it—emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches.

    Job’s Final Protest of Innocence

Job’s Final Protest of Innocence31 “I made a covenant with my eyes    not to look with lust at a young woman.2 For what has God above chosen for us?    What is our inheritance from the Almighty on high?3 Isn’t it calamity for the wicked    and misfortune for those who do evil?4 Doesn’t he see everything I do    and every step I take?5 “Have I lied to anyone    or deceived anyone?6 Let God weigh me on the scales of justice,    for he knows my integrity.7 If I have strayed from his pathway,    or if my heart has lusted for what my eyes have seen,    or if I am guilty of any other sin,8 then let someone else eat the crops I have planted.    Let all that I have planted be uprooted.9 “If my heart has been seduced by a woman,    or if I have lusted for my neighbor’s wife,10 then let my wife serve[a] another man;    let other men sleep with her.11 For lust is a shameful sin,    a crime that should be punished.12 It is a fire that burns all the way to hell.[b]    It would wipe out everything I own.13 “If I have been unfair to my male or female servants    when they brought their complaints to me,14 how could I face God?    What could I say when he questioned me?15 For God created both me and my servants.    He created us both in the womb.16 “Have I refused to help the poor,    or crushed the hopes of widows?17 Have I been stingy with my food    and refused to share it with orphans?18 No, from childhood I have cared for orphans like a father,    and all my life I have cared for widows.19 Whenever I saw the homeless without clothes    and the needy with nothing to wear,20 did they not praise me    for providing wool clothing to keep them warm?21 “If I raised my hand against an orphan,    knowing the judges would take my side,22 then let my shoulder be wrenched out of place!    Let my arm be torn from its socket!23 That would be better than facing God’s judgment.    For if the majesty of God opposes me, what hope is there?

The Secret Plan of God3 1-3 This is why I, Paul, am in jail for Christ, having taken up the cause of you outsiders, so-called. I take it that you’re familiar with the part I was given in God’s plan for including everybody. I got the inside story on this from God himself, as I just wrote you in brief.4-6 As you read over what I have written to you, you’ll be able to see for yourselves into the mystery of Christ. None of our ancestors understood this. Only in our time has it been made clear by God’s Spirit through his holy apostles and prophets of this new order. The mystery is that people who have never heard of God and those who have heard of him all their lives (what I’ve been calling outsiders and insiders) stand on the same ground before God. They get the same offer, same help, same promises in Christ Jesus. The Message is accessible and welcoming to everyone, across the board.7-8 This is my life work: helping people understand and respond to this Message. It came as a sheer gift to me, a real surprise, God handling all the details. When it came to presenting the Message to people who had no background in God’s way, I was the least qualified of any of the available Christians. God saw to it that I was equipped, but you can be sure that it had nothing to do with my natural abilities.8-10 And so here I am, preaching and writing about things that are way over my head, the inexhaustible riches and generosity of Christ. My task is to bring out in the open and make plain what God, who created all this in the first place, has been doing in secret and behind the scenes all along. Through followers of Jesus like yourselves gathered in churches, this extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels!11-13 All this is proceeding along lines planned all along by God and then executed in Christ Jesus. When we trust in him, we’re free to say whatever needs to be said, bold to go wherever we need to go. So don’t let my present trouble on your behalf get you down. Be proud!* * *14-19 My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.20-21 God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.Glory to God in the church!Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!Glory down all the generations!Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!

    UNITY PART 1

Ephesians 4King James Version 4 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. 17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

  30. 195

    Love

Psalm 1:1-3The Message 1 How well God must like you—    you don’t walk in the ruts of those blind-as-bats,    you don’t stand with the good-for-nothings,    you don’t take your seat among the know-it-alls. 2-3 Instead you thrill to God’s Word,    you chew on Scripture day and night. You’re a tree replanted in Eden,    bearing fresh fruit every month,Never dropping a leaf,    always in blossom.

  40. 185

Do not love this world nor the things it offers you.

1 John 2:15-16 (New Living Translation) Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.

    Gossip is sin.

People who have not been converted for Christ name sake are drowning in this one sin alone.

    Faith

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]. Hebrews 11:6
