Where can we find the freedom to be honest about our pain and the assurance that our pain will never have the last word?

Consider the question we ask people: “Where do you hope to be in five, ten, or twenty years?” The biblical authors, if asked the same, could not imagine a better future than being in God’s presence. But where is this, and how do we get there?

How do we live with stability when everything in life gets shaky? Where do we find peace in a frenzied world?

Religious or irreligious, everybody worships. And what we worship shapes who we are, for better or for worse. The question isn’t whether you worship. The question is what or who you are worshipping right now, and what its influence is upon you.

Does my life truly matter, and what will define the legacy I leave? Paul’s final words in 2 Timothy 4:6–8 show legacy is defined not by accomplishments or failures but by faithfulness: “I fought the good fight, I finished the race, I have kept the faith.” That truth calls us to long obedience in everyday acts of obedience, endurance to finish the race, faithful stewardship of the gospel, and confident hope in the crown of righteousness Christ awards to all who long for his appearing.

How do the desires of our lives shape the direction of our lives? And what do the things we love tell us about our spiritual condition? Join us this Sunday as we learn from 2 Timothy about the danger of disordered loves and how the gospel reorders the desires of our hearts.

What do we do when the life we long for feels completely out of reach? Isaiah 42 answers by pointing to God’s promise of new life through His Servant, who brings justice, healing, and freedom not through force, but through mercy and compassion toward the broken and weary. In our weakness and inability to change ourselves, we are invited to look to Him, receive His mercy and strength, and live in hopeful anticipation of the new life He has begun and will one day fully complete.

What does it really mean to be a Christian? Scripture makes clear that Christianity is not merely knowing about Jesus, but being a disciple—someone who follows Him closely, is shaped by His presence, and allows Him to define their purpose and direction. To be a disciple, then, is to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and live for Jesus, responding to His gracious invitation to follow Him with a life marked by love, transformation, and mission.

What does it mean to be faithful when life grows difficult? Revelation 3:7–13 reveeals how the church in Philadelphia remained steadfast through trials, revealing that true faithfulness sees every challenge as an opportunity to trust Christ and advance His mission–showing us that lasting faith depends not on strength or success but on the unshakable foundation of Jesus, the faithful cornerstone.
