Aaron Dailey leads us through Luke 3-4 as it reveals the Holy Spirit not just as power, but as a Person to know. Through the life of Jesus, we see what it means to be filled, led, empowered, and sent by the Spirit living from identity as beloved sons and daughters of God.

We spend another week looking at the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament. We see that Holy Spirit lives among the people of God but not in the people of God yet. We see the Holy Spirit is there with them, but also empowers them, and speaks to them. We talk about what that means for us today as people that seek the Holy Spirit. 

We conclude our series in Hebrews today. We go through the beautiful benediction at the end of Hebrews and hear how the author wants us to live life following Jesus, and with others. 

We got to be blessed by pastor Dana Dailey's preaching today! She helps us understand what this text about leaders is trying to say. She shows how there's a few different heart postures when it comes to passages like this, she shows how Jesus is our framework for leadership, and she shows us what loving trust in God looks like with the particular application of following your leaders. 

Easter 2026 in a new auditorium for us! We looked at John chapter 11 and talk about what it meant when Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life." 

Today we start the last chapter of Hebrews. The author of Hebrews starts off chapter 13 by talking about actions that must have been important to him; Hospitality to everyone, honoring marriage and the marriage bed, and keeping ourselves from the love of money. We look at these commands and reflect on how obeying each helps us to reflect the gospel. 

We have one last warning to listen to in the book of Hebrews. The author shows us some really good news about what Jesus has done, in order for us to not choose the momentary soup to satisfy our hunger, but to wait for the "birthright" we have in Jesus. The author of Hebrews reminds us of two things in this passage; 1. The Gospel is about connection, joy, and satisfaction, rather than fear and distance. 2. Following Jesus is about investing our lives in the things that last rather than things that are fleeting. 

This week Kyle walks through Hebrews 12: 5-17, leading us to break the stigma related to God's discipline and welcome the sanctification that comes with His discpline.

This sermon comes from one of our family Sunday services. In the sermon we talk about the "twins" of prayer found in the Psalms; lament and gratitude. 

Pastor Aaron Dailey brings an encouraging word, reminding us what we're called to, and how when it's all rooted in Jesus, it's possible to keep chasing after him, while being part of the team of his people, getting his work done in the world. 

This week pastor Emma Tautolo takes us through the last part of Hebrews chapter 11.

We start one of the most famous chapters in Hebrews this week; Hebrews Chapter 11. In Hebrews 11, we see all of these stories of faith. Today, to find ourselves in the grand story of faith, we stop and first see how these stories of faith, define what faith is.

In Hebrews 10:32 we get a glimpse at what the first Christians this book was written to were struggling with. They seemed to be dealing with everything just short of bleeding and being killed for their faith. And yet, the author encourages them to keep going. How do that? How can this text encourage us to perservere? 

From time to time we do All of Life Interviews. This is a way for us to remember that God uses everyone in every vocation and profession to help take care of his world. This week we look at Gretchen Gee a Chair and Teaching Professor at NAU. 

This week we tackle one of the most strongly worded warnings in all of the New Testament. We take time to understand the passage and what it was communicating in its time and place, and then we spend a lot of time talking about what it means to have a healthy fear of God. 

We are back in the book of Hebrews! We start the year off with a timely passage. To make it through life, this author tells us that we as Christians should do three things; draw near to God, hold onto our confession, and stay gathered with one another. 

Today we conclude our advent series with a look at Luke chapter 2. We break down its setting, costume, characters, and dialogue. We then see how all of that shows us things about who God is and what he is up to. 

This week we look at a powerful ruler named King Herod in the advent story. He shows us the sort of things we are tempted to do with our power, but also the sort of leaders we are tempted to give our allegiance to. God calls us to bow to him and live under his rule instead. 

We start an advent series today called; Chains He Shall Break. In it we are going to look at the theme of power in the advent story. Today we looked at Mary's Magnificat. She tells us that it is a good thing that God scatters the proud, takes rulers off their thrones, and sends the rich away hungry. Why is that? Can we listen to her song in a way that helps us proclaim this sort of good news to the world, and embody it as well? 

Anthony introduces the Advent Season, giving us some space to be still and reflect on all of the gifts that God gives us.

This week we have a stand alone message talking about how Christians should be generous with their money. We look at the Biblical examples and commands, and then apply it to our time and place. 

We've been looking at all sorts of ways that those things that existed in the Old Testament, or Old covenant, only pointed to what God wanted to exist in a better way in and through Jesus. This week we see how Jesus makes a far better sacrifice that deals with all of sin, and inaugurates a new kingdom. 

We continue our series in Hebrews and we continue to see all that we have in Jesus our High Priest. In particular we look at how Jesus has brought us into the most holy place, and cleaned even our conscious.

This week we take a break from our series in Hebrews. We got such an encouraging word from Olivia Mulerwa, president of an organization called Mission One, which is an organization we have given to for years now.  Mission One exists to partner with the Global church in making communities more like the Kingdom of God. They envision a world where every community is transformed for the glory of God and the honor of all peoples. She shared with us a word of the sort of Kingdom work we are all called to, while giving us eyes to see what God is doing through our brothers and sisters in other countries. 

This week we look at this new covenant we get in Jesus. We look at three things related to the new covenant; centered on Jesus, he's a better high priest in many ways, and we need to stop living a human powered life. 

Today we look at Hebrews chapter 7 and the mysterious figure of Melchizedek. We see how he points to Jesus, how we are are weak and in debt, and how God has always wanted to give us the best through Jesus. 

This week Delphina teaches through Hebrews 6:13-17, diving into the promise that God made to Abraham encouraging us to remember this promise as an anchor for our faith.

We tackle THE trickiest passage in the book of Hebrews. We do some theological work on the front end, but make sure to do our best to let the passage do what it's attempting to do in us. Note: In the middle, there is about 90 seconds of audio that sounds strange, this is because of a technical error that happened during service on Sunday. 

Rand Habegger takes us through Hebrews 5:11-6:3, unpacking a challenging callout of spiritual laziness and a hope-filled call to spiritual maturity.

Listen to us talk about our vision as a church! We've existed for 13 years and recently God has worked in us to help us clarify our vision as a church. We've had some recent transitions as a church body that has made us feel now is a great time to state what we are hoping to do and be as a church. We want to help people love Jesus, be disciples that embody the Beloved Community values, saturate the city of Flagstaff with Jesus, and live in connection to, and unity with the Beloved Community! 

We continue this wonderful series in Hebrews. Today we look at the big idea of Jesus the high priest. We see what a high priest is, our need for a mediator, and the sort of mediator that Jesus is. 

We continue our series in the beautiful book of Hebrews. This week we follow a large section of Hebrews, that shows us that life with God is like a journey. The author of Hebrews wants us to preserve as Christians on this journey, so the author gives us four things we need for this journey of life with God.  

Today we continue to think about and look at Jesus, and the great salvation we have in him and from him. In particular today we look at two things; our enslavement to the fear of death, and the atonement. 

This week Anthony went over Hebrews 2:1-13, leading us through the wonderful truths about the Salvation that Jesus offers.

Today we start the book of Hebrews, a beautiful, artful, complex book looking at so many contours of Jesus. Today we talk about two big themes in the book of Hebrews; God Speaks, and Jesus our Resource. Pastor Dana Dailey brings the word for us this morning! She beautifully connects James' historical background to what he says about prayer in the letter. You will leave this sermon feeling encouraged to pray in all the sorts of ways that the book of James encourages us to. 

This week we look at some intense words James has for the rich. In it we see how James is writing in the prophetic style of the Old Testament Prophets. We look at how James the prophet wants to show us God's heart, invite us into change, and to help us gain a prophetic imagination. 

It's family Sunday for us, which means we have all of the kids in service for us. We continue our series in the book of James with a mini sermon from James 4:1-6. 

This week Jacqueline encourages and challenges us to respond to God's love by doing.

This week you get two mini sermons that together make a long sermon. The first sermon Anthony spends some time talking about the recent ICE raids, and denounces the evil of those raids. In the second sermon he takes us through James' encourgements for the church to be with the poor and care for the poor. 

Rand Habegger unpacks three lessons from across the book of James about the problem, pattern, and power for using our tongues well.

This Pentecost Sunday we spend some time looking at John 16 and Acts 2. Anthony gives us four truths about the Holy Spirit to reflect on to help us press into our relationship with the Holy Spirit.

This week Anthony encourages us to welcome the word and live the word the way that James was encouraging the early church to.
