Hebrews is all about the supremacy of Christ. Chapter 2 explains how the message of the gospel is a greater message than that which was delivered to the Old Testament believers. Moreover, Christ is greater than the first man (Adam) who sinned as Christ is the perfect man who exercises perfect dominion over creation!

Hebrews provides a detailed explanation of how the Old Testament is fulfilled in the New Testament. All of the prophecies, types, and shadows in the Old Testament come together in Christ who is supreme over all of them. He is greater than the angels, greater than Moses, greater than the Levitical priesthood. Pastor Daniel Samms walks us through Hebrews 1 in this sermon.

Ordo Amoris is Latin for “order of love.” It is the biblical and historic Christian doctrine that emphasizes prioritizing loving your family, church, and kinsmen. It is of particular importance as it relates to the doctrine of loving your neighbor. Appeals to love of neighbor have been used to pressure Christians into letting illegal immigrants remain in the country, letting other religions control public policy, and letting degeneracy have a place in the public square. Pastor Daniel Samms addresses the reality that the command to love neighbor actually means prioritizing family, church, and kinsmen.

Pastor Daniel Samms walks us through a review of Romans before addressing Paul’s closing statements and celebrating the fact that God is going to crush the devil under our feet! In the process he addresses questions about whether or not Phoebe was a deacon and whether or not Junia was an apostle.

Paul has spent some time explaining the plan God has for the Jews. Now in Chapter 15 he addresses the fact that his plan too save gentiles has been part of His design from the beginning. Moreover, he addresses the fact that he has endeavored to plant churches where no other apostles have gone so as to spread the gospel as far as possible.

Scripture makes it clear that due to Christ’s completed work, we are not required to follow the ceremonial aspects of the Law of Moses. However, as with many matters of Christian freedom, anything not done in faith is done in error. Mature believers are charged with not causing less mature believers to stumble in matters of conviction. Both mature and immature believers are reminded that all we do is to the Lord for His glory. Romans 14 gives practical direction that has direct applications for Christian unity and spiritual growth.

Romans 13 is a foundational passage for understanding civil government, but it has often been applied incorrectly to defend sinful tyranny. This sermon covers Romans 13 as well as several other harmonious passages in order to see clearly what God has commanded related to obedience and disobedience of civil authorities.

Paul turns the focus from orthodoxy to orthopraxy in Romans 12, giving a series of imperatives related to spiritual worship. We are commanded to be living sacrifices (rather than dead ones), serving the body of Christ, loving enemies, weeping with mourners and rejoicing with the joyful.

Christ is Lord over heaven and earth, including every nation on earth (Matthew 28:18), and we are commanded to make disciples of the nations, teaching them to obey His commands. The founding fathers of the United States recognised the Lordship of Christ and affirmed His authority and rule. Pastor Daniel addresses the biblical foundation for human governments and addresses the history and future of America as a federal country of Christian states.

Romans 9 is a critical passage as it relates to God’s sovereignty over salvation. It covers key topics related to election, predestination, and God’s will while emphasising that salvation is by faith and not our works. Pastor Dan walks us through this critical passage while addressing the perennial topic of Calvinism.

Romans 8 is a profound passage of Scripture. It addresses a multitude of related issues from suffering to sanctification to the perfect plan of God. There are significant theological (soteriological) truths here, and there are some simple, but no less profound, truths related to comfort in both painful and joyful circumstances. Pastor Dan walks us through all of it in this sermon.

The battle against sin seems impossible at times. We don't realise how difficult it is to live righteously until we try to live righteously. We have many failures, but Christ ultimately gives us the victory! Dan Rogatto walks us through Romans 7 and the hope we have in Christ for sanctification.

The fact that Jesus paid for all of the sin we have ever done or ever will do does not mean we should go on sinning. When we were baptised into Christ, our old life died with him. Now, we live in newness of life with Him in HIs resurrection! The key is to recon our selves dead to sin.

Romans 5 provides a clear explanation of our federal headship. We were once under Adam’s headship and thus under sin because Adam (as our federal head) sinned against God. But, as Romans 5 explains, Christ Jesus obeyed where Adam disobeyed. Those who are in Christ have transferred into the headship of Christ, the Last Adam. Thus, we have eternal hope and life in Christ!

Romans 4 describes the connection between the faith of Abraham and the faith of all of God’s people. Just as Abraham believed God and it was counted as righteousness, so it is with us. Adam Cawrse walks us through this critical doctrine.

Having shown that no one lives up to God’s standard of righteousness, Paul demonstrated that justification is by grace. This chapter explains what it means for God to declare us righteousness by faith in Christ and not by our own works.

It is easy to look at the sins of Romans 1 and think that we are better because we acknowledge that sin is bad, but the truth is that we do not live up to our own standards of morality. Both the law-oriented Jew and the moralist gentile are found in wanting compared to the righteousness of God. We need a perfect Savior!

Paul’s Epistle to the Romans is a profound work of systematic theology designed to explain how the gospel brings glory to God by revealing His righteousness. Pastor Daniel walks us through Romans 1 which explains how a people who suppress the truth of God heap up sin. Increase in homosexuality, murder, hatred of God, and all kinds of sin increase as unrighteousness people worship the creation rather than the Creator.

False teachers have been a problem for the church since the beginning. By God’s grace, Scripture provides us ample tools for recognising and repelling them. Christ Jesus refers to false teachers as wolves in sheep’s clothing. Wolfsbane is the natural repellent to wolves. Pastor Dan walks us through a systematic study of Scripture as it relates to recognising and repelling false teachers.

The incident at Babel is an example of human pride contrasted with God’s power and plan. God will always make sure His plan is accomplished. Moreover, HIs plan is not for division but multiplication. Pastor Dan asks us through the dispersion from Babel in Genesis 11 and the reunification through the Gospel at Pentecost in Acts 2.

This passages addresses the end of the flood and the new start for God’s creation. God makes a promise not to destroy the earth again. However, recognising that man still has sin in his heart, God makes a provision for capital punishment. All the while, He keeps His promise to send the Snake Crusher by preserving the Image of God and the like from Eve to Mary.

Jesus is the Seed of Woman sent to crush the serpents head! He has died to pay our sin debt, taking the punishment for our sin, and He has risen from the dead, defeating death. The serpent’s work is defeated, and Christ is victorious! John 20 gives us an account of the resurrected Jesus, defeating the curse in a garden just as the curse was made in a garden.

Genesis 7 gives us the account of the flood itself. God demonstrates His justice by pouring out His wrath on evil while graciously sparing a remnant. He is a both just and merciful. In this sermon, Pastor Dan exegetes Genesis 7 and addresses the physical evidence for this profound act of judgement.

Recently, it has become popular to study the Nephalim mentioned in Genesis 6 and make speculations as their relationship to giants and paranormal activity. While this is an interesting study, it is not the focus of Genesis 6. In this sermon, Pastor Dan briefly addresses the question of the Nephalim before focusing on the primary content of Genesis 6: God’s wrath against sin, and HIs plan to rescue a remnant by His grace.

Genesis 4 gives an account of the first murder. God gives us an explanation of bloodguilt as we see the contrast between the followers of God who respond to God in faith and the enemies of God who seek to cover their sin their own way.

Everything that is wrong in the world can be traced backed to the events recorded in Genesis 3. Man sinned, and brought death to men. God put curses on man, woman, and the serpent, but He also gave use. promise that a the Seed of Woman would crush the head of the serpent’s seed. Pastor Dan walks us through Genesis 3 in this sermon.

God gives us a clear description of why man is created and why woman is created as his helper in the dominion mandate. Genesis 2 provides tremendous insights on marriage, creation, and the purpose of humanity.

Genesis 1-11 provide the foundation for the Christian worldview. Understanding how God made the universe and why He made it as He did sets the stage for the rest of Scripture and gives Christians clarity on how to approach the issues of our day. Genesis 1 gives us insight to God, His creation, and how we are supposed to live.

The Philippian church faced trails and persecution just like the church now. Surprisingly, Paul admonishes us to dwell on what is true, good, and beautiful, making merry and enjoying contentment in all circumstances. How is this possible? Purely through Christ. This chapter is a practical guide to joyful Christian living.

After teaching us to have the mindset of Christ, Paul turns his focus against false teaching, using strong language to point out that the Jews who rejected Christ were in error. He contrasts circumcision of the heart with the outward ceremony of Judaism. Pastor Dan applies this principle to point out that all religions that reject Christ are anti-christ. The problem with Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Marxism, et al is theological not racial. Repent and believe the gospel! Christ is Lord!

We are commanded to have the mind of Christ. When Scripture describes this, it points to the fact that the Son of God humbled Himself by taking on flesh, even the form of a Servant. He died, even a lowly death on the cross, and God has raised Him up! This sermon addresses key theological points about the fact that Jesus is truly God and truly man (hypostatic union) and the implications for us. If our God and Savior humbled himself for us, we should do the same for one another.

The church at Philippi faced persecution for the gospel just as Paul did. Paul writes to admonish them to loving unity, employing both knowledge and discernment. Likewise, Paul point out that everything that happens can be used as an opportunity for the Gospel and that god has planned our trials just as He has elected us for salvation. We may hope boldly as God will finish the work in us that He started!

Paul wrote his Epistle to the Philippians while in prison to encourage the church he had planted on one of his previous missionary journeys. The book provides insight into how to build up the body of Christ and how to endure persecution and suffering. Before studying the book itself, we will study Luke’s account of the establishment of the Philippian Church in Acts 16.

Christ Jesus commanded us to make disciples, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This sermon covers the details about what baptism is and what purpose it serves. It has profound implications for the Kingdom of God.

Our fight is first spiritual and second physical. God has equipped us with the spiritual weapons necessary to stand firm and advance the gospel. This final passage of Ephesians gives us a charge to maintain unity through spiritual militancy.

We are commanded to submit to one another out of reverence to Christ. Paul explains in detail how that relates to husbands and wives, children and fathers, and slaves and masters. The practical implications here are critical.

There is a stark contrast between the fruitfulness of the Light and the destruction of darkness. People who are filled with (led by) the Holy Spirit bear spiritual fruit. Those who live in darkness destroy what is good, true, and right. Ephesians 5:1-21 gives us instructions on being filled with the Holy Spirit and exposing that which is evil.

The unity provided to the Church by Christ brings God glory. As such, it must be preserved. Thus, God calls us to walk worthy, putting off the old life and putting on the new life in Christ. Unity is preserved by putting on the righteousness of Christ as we put off the old life.

God’s plan to save the Gentiles along with the Jews in Christ was in place all along. It was a mystery in that it was only partially known in the Old Testament. Ephesians 3 provides a clear explanation of how God has brought this plan to fruition.

Paul outlines how salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God alone. Subsequently, God has brought together Jews and Gentiles into one Body of Christ. This Church is built on the foundation of Christ and the testimony of Scripture. Pastor Dan walks us through the gospel message of Ephesians 2.

Paul’s letter to the Ephesian church addresses essential theological realities related to salvation by grace through faith in Christ. then, it goes on to explain basic aspects of Christian living. Pastor Daniel walks us through Chapter 1 which explains our election, unity, redemption, and inheritance in Christ.

This short letter written by Paul to a Christian slave owner urging him to release his slave (Onessimus) is a practical example of how the gospel dissolves the societal problems caused by sin. As such, it provides believers with a model of how to redeem culture through evangelism and discipleship.

After emphasising that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ and not by works of the law, Paul made clear that our freedom in Christ should not lead us to sin. Rather, as we walk in the Spirit we grow spiritual fruit rather than do the works of the flesh. In Chapter 6, he explains how to restore a brother who has fallen into sin and how in caring for one another we sow spiritual seed to reap a harvest of eternal life. Pastor Dan teaches through he end of Galatians 6 in this sermon.

The Apostle Paul reiterates our freedom in Christ in Chapter 4 before turning his focus on how our freedom is to be used as an opportunity to serve one another in love and not as an opportunity for the flesh. Pastor Dan walks us through Galatians 5, comparing works of the flesh to fruits of the Spirit. Ultimately, just as we are justified by grace through faith, so are we sanctified by faith as the Holy Spirit grows fruit in us.

The Galatian church was made up of new believers that Judaizers sought to lead astray with a false gospel of Works. Paul's letter reminds them that salvation is by faith in Christ (not by our works). The New Covenant in Christ means freedom and unity as the Holy Spirit writes the Law of God on our hearts.

The Jews use political pressure and the threat of a riot to get Pilate to have Jesus crucified. Jesus pays our sin debt on the cross and rises from the dead, proving that He is God and King! Pastor Dan walks us through this critical passage of Scripture.

Jesus Christ, being truly God and truly man, is without sin. The only way to condemn a righteous man is with an unrighteous trial. The chief priests had violated Deuteronomy 16:18-21 while fulfilling Isaiah 50:6. They perverted justice to condemn Jesus to death. Judas betrayed Jesus. Peter denied Jesus, but Jesus willingly went to the cross to fulfill His divine decree, atoning for the sins of the elect. Pastor Dan walks us through the implications of Mathew 26:47-27:10.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk is a tragedy. He faithfully proclaimed the gospel and biblical values, and the enemies of God ended his life in an attempt to prevent the truth of God. They have failed, but they joyfully mock his death and call for more violence against Christians. Christians want to know how to respond.
