Ep. 6 - Ayahuasca and Jesus: A Medicine Woman's Testimony
This episode of the “Return Home" features an exciting conversation between host Theresa Noach and guest medicine woman Avianna Castro. After Theresa came across a post by Avianna on Facebook, she reached out to see if she would be interested in a conversation. Given her background in Christian ministry, Theresa was curious about Avianna's post, which stated that she had an encounter with Jesus Christ at a recent ayahuasca ceremony where she was a participant. This is not a rare occurrence. Many people who enter the ceremony scene do not do so as Christians yet report having beautiful encounters with Jesus that change their lives.Theresa wanted to know: What did Jesus say to her? What does this encounter tell us about Jesus? For many Christians, psychedelic or entheogenic ceremonies are viewed as unacceptable to Christian life, with some even going so far as to label them as satanic.Theresa’s view, as the Priestess of Sacrament, is that Jesus is pure Truth, Love, and Infinite Light. The image of Jesus created by religion, which has been associated with significant violence, suppression and slavery around the globe, is not the true Jesus. Does Avianna's story support that theory? Ep. 3 - From Church Ministry to Earth Ministry: Allowing a New Foundation to Be Laid
In this episode, your host Theresa talks about expanding your perspective on spirituality. She explains that making this initial mindset shift requires us to face certain fears—if not all of them. She emphasizes the importance of posturing yourself to receive new insight and highlights how perception shapes our lives as we construct and reconstruct faulty foundations. It’s okay to admit when we are growing out of things we once prayed for. Being human involves making mistakes, and it requires us to learn from the process of getting things wrong. There is a plan and purpose for your life, and being human is part of that plan.Theresa teaches that each of us ultimately has the Spirit within us, who teaches all things. Without revelation from the Spirit, none of us can fully comprehend our spiritual existence. On your spiritual journey, you will discover your spiritual DNA, which reveals the innate gifts and talents you are meant to share with the world.Resources on Past Life Experiences Mentioned in the Podcast:Podcast about Theresa’s shamanic medicine journeys:https://youtu.be/UsaFes8hA0o?si=bpsNyBM_YueR1FAdYouTube video with mathematician Robert Grant:https://youtu.be/WiFqQ4JjOYY?si=VcBlBJXuLgE9KZNkTheresa’s LinkTree (including the women’s spiritual community “Inner Gardens”):https://linktr.ee/Theresaanoach?utm_source=linktree_profile_share&ltsid=38086d0f-6230-4e8f-90e2-ec85d9c7ed9bSadhguru on the potential dangers of awakening too quickly:https://youtu.be/wymi3AxcqnU?si=BW1hlwHledqJDn50Website:www.sacredWarriorfellowship.com
