There is no mention of tribulation prior to the rapture in1 Thess 41 Cor. 15OrRev 4In both 1 Thess 5 and Rev 6 the tribulation is revealed after the rapture.  He loves his church, we are his bride and I believe we will be rescued from the hour of trial that is coming on “earth dwellers” as we have seen in prior lessons in Revelation. ★ Support this podcast ★

Is the church in America luke warm?  Am I?  These letters do not carry the normal doctrine that is shared in the pews of most churches.  Could that be part of the problem.  Do we have a lot of Sunday only, do nothing Christians because we focus on a portion of the Bible that emphasizes over and over what we do doesn't matter?  After all, don’t we just have to (say we) have faith? ★ Support this podcast ★

Jesus came to usher in Gentiles, people like you and me, into God’s family through faith in Him.  The Jews expected Jesus to restore them and their nation and their temple.  It may very well be that, because they failed to welcome Gentiles and failed to honor and worship Him rightly, God brought about the first coming to welcome the Gentiles in, and He is waiting on His second coming to win more.  When He comes the second time, He will restore Israel, Jerusalem, and a remnant of Jews, and we will also share in the blessing of the Millennium.  In this way, I see the tribulation as punishment for Jews and unbelievers and God’s grace in seeking to win them during the tribulation.  I believe the church will be spared the tribulation by the rapture and return with Jesus for the Millennium.  We need a measure of humility in all of this, but this is what I hold to.  It makes sense to me because the Jews are under the curse of the law because they failed in God’s mission, and they have not received the cure for the curse in Jesus, as the church has.  This is why the tribulation is called the wrath of the Lamb in Revelation 6, and we are promised we will not experience the wrath. ★ Support this podcast ★

This book is a prophecy against an enemy nation called Assyria.  In this teaching I give the history of God’s people and Assyria and help us understand when Nahum prophesied.  What is incredible is that his prophecies came true.  There are some important lessons I share briefly in this message that spans and summarizes all three chapters.1. God has judgement and wrath on his enemies and those who reject Jesus.2. God knows who takes refuge in Him and his son Jesus.3. God will restore blessing on Israel4.
