Revisit the Text w/ Jamie Holloway

After a week of being idle, we are back in the saddle to continue our great discussion regarding Jephthah. Bro. Jamie will dive into the foundation of this story which includes the vow that he promises to God. I hope you stick around for this conversation.

Jephthah is one of my favorite stories to read and study about from the book of Judges. As I continue to read it, I always learn something new about him. Even though he is mentioned in the Faith Hall of Fame (Hebrews 11), I truly believe his story is very similar to people of this current generation. I want to share that his environment and his decisions weren’t perfect but he was true to himself and God knew his intentions and was blessed for it. P.S. Prayer is a constant topic of discussion amongst people trying to seek God. I firmly believe that there is a bad habit of not being open enough with our prayer(s) to God. As a result, we question God that our prayers aren’t going throug h but God is questioning us by saying, “Are you telling me everything or are you sugarcoating it to make it sound better?” Bro. Jamie discusses a prayer of an unknown man by the majority and explores what we can take from it.

Looking at Genesis 3, it easier to look at Eve and say it's her fault that she was tempted in the Garden. Bro. Jamie looks at a different perspective on this Spiritual Story.
