A life worth giving away (Hold Fast, pt. 2)

In this message, Trent unpacks 1 Thessalonians 2 and paints a vivid picture of the Christian life as a life of ministry. He shows how Paul, Silas, and Timothy model boldness, sincerity, sacrifice, and deep love, revealing that every believer is called to give themselves away for the sake of the gospel. Ultimately, he reminds us that we persevere not by holding tighter to our own strength, but by giving our lives fully to God, who empowers us to “hold fast” to the end.

  32. 147

What are you waiting for? (Hold Fast, pt. 1)

This week Joey kicked off a new series in 1 Thessalonians called “Hold Fast.” In this message, we learned how the Thessalonian church was young, small, pressured, and yet deeply faithful… and how Paul calls them to hold fast by rooting their endurance in the hope of Jesus’ future return. We explored how our hope determines our resilience, and how what we cling to shapes the way we live.

  33. 146

    The Seven: Laodicea

This week, Trent taught on the church of Laodicea in Revelation 3 and warned against the danger of lukewarm faith. He explained how we can claim to be close to God while actually being spiritually unaware, distracted, and self-reliant. Trent reminded students that Jesus continually knocks, inviting us to repent, seek Him, and live with a burning passion for Him instead of settling for comfort or complacency.

  34. 145

    The Seven: Philadelphia

Trent teaches from Revelation 3 about the church in Philadelphia, a community praised for its faithfulness despite weakness. He reminds us that true strength is found not in our own effort but in God’s power, urging us to hold fast to Jesus amid pressure and persecution. The message calls us to rely on God’s strength, remember His holiness, and look ahead to the eternal inheritance that will never fade.

  35. 144

    The Seven: Sardis

In this fourth message of The Seven series, Tim teaches from Revelation 3 about the church in Sardis, a community that looked alive on the outside but was spiritually dead. He challenges listeners not to “coast” on past growth or reputation, but to wake up and pursue a genuine, ongoing relationship with Jesus. The sermon closes by urging students to rediscover their purpose as God’s handiwork, created to bear real fruit and live out the good works He prepared for them.

  36. 143

    The Seven: Thyatira

In the fourth message of The Seven series, Trent teaches from Revelation 2:18–29, urging students to examine where they’re going spiritually and whether they’re growing or tolerating sin. Using the church in Thyatira as a warning, he contrasts the destruction that comes from compromise with the blessing and life that come from faithfulness to Christ. He closes by inviting students to follow Jesus one step at a time, trusting Him to lead them safely home.

  37. 142

    The Seven: Pergamum

Trent continues The Seven series by looking at Jesus’ letter to the church in Pergamum (Revelation 2:12–17). He unpacks the reality of Satan’s power and tactics, reminding us that while the enemy seeks to deceive, God equips believers with His Word as a sword and His promises as our defense. The call is to endure faithfully, clinging to Christ’s victory and the hope of eternal life.

  38. 141

    The Seven: Smyrna

Tim continues our series looking at the Seven churches in the book of Revelation!

  39. 140

    The Seven: Ephesus

Trent kicks off a new series on the seven churches in Revelation by looking at Jesus’ letter to the church in Ephesus. He unpacks both their strengths and their warning: doing the right things but losing their first love... and challenges us to consider whether our own devotion to Jesus is fresh and real.

  40. 139

    Chasing What Lasts

Trent invites students to reflect on the pursuits that often leave them empty, whether success, relationships, or recognition, and points them to Jesus as the only source of true satisfaction. Drawing from Ecclesiastes and John 7, he emphasizes that all worldly “fountains” run dry, but Christ offers living water that never does.

  41. 138

    Messengers

Tim Schoen unpacks how God entrusts His life-changing message to ordinary people and empowers them to share it. Looking at Philip in Acts 8, we see how the gospel pairs with action, isn’t about our own platform, and is meant for the lost and overlooked. The challenge is to know the message, live it authentically, and share it with those God has placed in our path.

  42. 137

Why are Life Groups so important?

This message looks at Philippians 4:1-8 and what it means for life groups. We explore three essentials for meaningful community... unity, prayer, and truth, and how they shape groups into more than just social hangouts. Life groups become a crew on the journey home, helping each other stay the course with Jesus.
