'Ali al-Azdee said: I asked Ibn 'Abbaas (رضي الله عنه) about Jihaad. He replied, "Shall I not direct you to that which is better than Jihaad? I said, "Yes." He said, "Build a masjid and teach within it the Qur'aan and fiqh (understanding) of the Religion."at-Tadween fil-Akhbaar al-Qazween (2/461) of 'Abd al-Kareem Ibn Muhammad ar-Raafi'ee (d.623H). The class begins this Saturday inshaAllah. For the time being, brothers are welcome to attend in person and sisters, children under 10 and elders over 65 are encouraged to stay home and listen online until the safety precautions in Michigan are further lifted.
