These are my confessions as a highly sensitive student manager.

I will always stand by fall being overrated so find out why in my very short but passionate rant. Although fall is overrated the best thing to come out of it will always be Halloween. 

As of these last few months I’ve been going through a friendship breakup and it’s hard getting over it but I’m trying my best. I am learning different coping mechanisms to help with emotions I will never get over, but I’ve come upon the realization that although friendships do not last, what comes out of it will. The art I’m hoping to make will last forever even though the people who influenced it will not and that’s okay.

I work three jobs as a student and I've accumulated a list of what I love/hate! On top of working comes the emotional, physical, and mental stress that finds its way into being a lesson as a pro and an overall con.

 I consider myself a confident person, and I have a lot of self-awareness that I have learned over time through life experience. Self-awareness and confidence are two fundamental, often overlooked characteristics that go hand in hand. Confidence can open many doors for you and enhance how you feel, but it is not as valuable without self-awareness.

As I'm progressing in my 20s and as a young adult I'm learning how to cope with feeling like I am behind despite trying my hardest.

Anyone can be racist but we often see the phrase "How can I be racist if" and today's episode goes in depth to the complexities of that! You can still be racist if you have a POC as family, you have relationships with POC or you are a POC yourself. Dating in this day and age as a black women is very interesting. I dive into talking about peoples opinions and preferences then comparing them to my own as a 20-year-old. I've made a lot of observations on what's people value when bringing up their( specifically racial) preferences and am now coming to terms with what I think about them.

Part 2! I think a lot of what growing up and becoming an adult is...is recognizing the things that are taught to you when you were younger are things you sometimes need to unlearn and maybe redefine for yourself. In this episode, although I do talk a bit about my experiences I do think if you are someone who thinks about the idea of beauty, has a past with an eating disorder, or just struggles with insecurities & everything in between you will like this. I’m really hoping you can take away something because I did this for not only myself but anyone going through all I just mentioned.

I've lived in three different countries, seven different cities, and am constantly figuring out what my identity is. In this episode, I'm exploring what it means to be African in America but not technically African American. 

This is kind of a light-hearted look at the pet peeves and opinions I've had over the years as an adopted kid. As a 20-year-old, I've heard and experienced a lot when it coming to adoption. I find that the topic of adoption is overwhelmingly taken over by parents of adoptees as opposed to adoptees themselves in a relatable and genuine way. Adoption is an amazing process and something I've been blessed to have experience but not a lot of people are very honest about the things I get into on the episode. For any adoptee, parent of an adoptee, anyone who's ever said "I would love to adopted" or if you would just like to be entertained I hope you like it.
