The Scent of Light is a regular series of 5-minute vignettes produced by Kenneth E. Norton for the Radio Spotlight Magazine hosted by Andre' Marc on Radio KOWS 92.5 FM on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month between 2 to 4 PM, streaming live at kows.fm. In the midst of political commentary the episodes are meant to be an oasis for the mind to center and reflect, and from here discern and understand what is being discussed, rather than from the branch of another person's emotionally fueled story. Ken Norton earned his master's degree in Materials Science from Stanford University as the Vietnam War was ending. During that time Ken served as the personal assistant to a poet/sociologist Dr. William Hermanns as he prepared his writings for publication, exposing Ken to not only the sciences but also the humanities and comparative religion for making conscious and conscionable choices.
