Scripture Revisited

The one who is in a rush is always looking for more time, the one who is unhurried always seems to have enough.

God will rain on my parade so that I don't get swept away by the flood.

Free to live, but afraid to leave.

What am I seeking, and where?

Once I stop delaying, I'll start delivering.

A direct CONNECTION to the Bible results in a direct REFLECTION of the Author.

God isn't a million miles away, our life is just too foggy to see Him right in front of us.

When we live in a hurry, our lives become blurry.

We can know better, yet still choose worse.

Progression follows obsession.

Until the day we CAN'T, we better take this Book and PLANT. 

Will I sow in the flesh that fades or the Spirit Who saves?

If Satan can immobilize you, he can infect you.

Why am I trying to please people that don't please God?

Age is automatic, growth is not.

Why are we fascinated by the hidden when the truth has already been revealed?

Let us sign hymns to Him Who is worthy of all our praise. 

We don't have to wait to begin. 

The work of the Lord is not seasonal, but eternal.

Do I care more about my reputation, or His?

Our lives are an invisible hourglass.

Am I physically present, but spiritually absent?

Thankfulness is the heartbeat of every prayer.

The man who welcomed 13 strangers into his home for the Last Supper, while we can't welcome our closest friends over for the First Supper.

A lack of effort in sanctification stems from an unrealistic view of our relationship with God

Would angels dress up as demons?

Is anyone good enough for God? No way. Are we all in need of the Gospel? Absolutely.

God could calm the storm at any moment, but it's likely God sent the storm so that we would learn to be calm.

We can spend our entire lives running away from God, only to run into Him at the end... 

Do I confess my sin, or conceal it?

How can we look at Jesus if we're always looking at our phones?

Have we become desensitized and even accepting of particular sins?

Do I treat God like a part-time job? Dreading the drive, eager to clock out?

Where am I driving? What exits am I taking? Where do I fuel up? 

The Apostles chose Martyrdom over Money, would I?
