Extraordinary Miracles took place through Paul. The purpose was to authenticate Paul and the Gospel message as being truly from God and to demonstrate power over evil spirits. proper response is godly repentance leading to life.

Paul is not stopped by the enemies of the Word but he changes his venue and ends up reaching more people. There comes a time when an audience is too hostile for the gospel to be heard.

Some disciples of John the Baptist are baptized with water in the name of Jesus and with the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and prophesying authenticates the final bridge between the Old Testament prophets and the New Covenant.

John the Baptist announces the Lamb of God.

Believers are called to endure all things because we have the blessed hope of Jesus Christ, a strong and secure anchor in the heavens. but the Lord also knows that we need times of refreshment. This is one reason why we're given a weekly Sabbath, but also other extraordinary providences of God which are meant for our encouragement and help.

We were crucified with Christ. In Him we were crucified, resurrected, and are ascended with Him in the heavenly places.

What could be stranger than claims of a resurrection from the dead? Yet Christ IS risen!

Paul is accused of insurrection when he is the only one in proper relation to the king.

Sharing the Gospel using both Special and General Revelation.

Paul and Silas are released from prison but refused to be released without an apology. They do this for the sake of the church.

All of life should be worship.

Life's detours are only detours from our perspective.

what is the relationship between Christians and the Covenant established by the Lord through Moses? How is the church to decide such issues?

Jesus has opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. Now we are to pray for a door of opportunity to share the gospel with our neighbors.

Paul and Barnabas return for Jerusalem and are sent out from Antioch and are confronted by Elymas, the magician.

Why Jesus came.

Jesus protects and builds His church through prayer. He also judges those who oppose Him.

The gospel begins to spread amongst the Gentile community.

The Kingdom expands by the direct hand of Jesus' Spirit.

God continues to reveal His method of Kingdom expansion through the Spirit of God.

The kingdom is being expanded by the inclusion of the Gentiles. The righteousness of Christ through faith in Him fulfills the covenant requirements for salvation.

Peter brings a dead woman back to life, in a very similar manner as did Jesus. This shows God's authentication of Peter as well as God's authority over life and death. This is our hope; the resurrection.

1. Believers accept God's Word2. Believers accept one another3. Believers accept the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God4. Believers grow in strength by the Holy Spirit through the Word of God written but first must know God Himself.

God has prepared us for today and is preparing us for tomorrow.

Jesus is building his church church by his Spirit through Philip. Philip calls the Ethiopian eunuch, thereby including the Old Testament outcasts to the New Covenant Church.

Pride goes before destruction. Test the spirits.

We are to be and to make disciples, followers of Christ, not just students. As problems arose within the church, we learn not to murmur and that the church grows and makes disciples through the ministry of the Word of God.

The Apostles joyfully accepted their physical abuse for the cause of Christ because they were considered worthy to suffer for Him. What are we willing to endure? Where is our zeal?

Satan fills the hearts of Ananias and Sapphira instead of the Holy Spirit. God reminds the church of His holiness and His continued zeal for it.

The first and most powerful of a Christian Church to problems which it faces is prayer. We learn from this incident in the early church something about how to pray. Notice to whom they pray and for what they pray.

Peter and John stand up to the Sanhedrin in the boldness supplied by the Holy Spirit. We pray for boldness for ourselves in speaking and doing the Word of God.

The Sadducees priorities were power and wealth. the Pharisees priorities were prestige through the Law.What priorities might we have which come before Christ and, therefore, keep us from fully loving Him?

The healing of the lame man at the temple points to the coming of salvation for all men in Jesus Christ and for the new Temple, the church.

The Holy Spirit creates a desire for God. This desire can only be met by a continual devotion to things by which God makes himself known.

The believer in Christ is forgiven and receives the Holy Spirit. Justification, adoption, and sanctification.

The conviction of sin and godly and world grief and its results.
