Seekers Sunday School

Rest and relaxing.  Feels cray-cray right now, doesn't it?  Welp, here we are in May-cember trying to keep heads above water, kids concerts, end of year parties, etc.  Why is rest important?  Let's consider while listening to the 3rd grade strings and figuring out if we have the ingredients to make a bundt cake in the cupboard.

We are going back in time to (looks at notes) 2 weeks ago!  Those halcyon days when gas was 20 cents less.  Tiger Woods flipped his car...again.  Addiction!  Bad judgement! Golf! This episode has everything.

Everyones favorite topic...comparative economic systems!  We are starting to question the superiority of this capitalism thing.  Let's talk about that, current thoughts, and what the Bible has to say about it.  

This week, the topic is discipleship in today's church.

Sagrada Familia is perhaps the last cathedral we will see completed in our lifetime.  It took over a century to build, and is a remarkable feat of engineering and art.  Antonio Gaudi was quoted as saying, after being queried on how long the cathedral will take, "My client is not in a hurry."  Let's explore what it is like to build something bigger than you, and when it might surpass your ability to do it all yourself.
