Troy Adams preached a great message about what we must do when we have our own Jordan situation. We must be fully dedicated and committed to God. God has a plan, even if it may go into places unknown. Follow God with faith and a clean heart. If we step out in faith, God will do great things. Listen to the voice of God with trust and obedience. No matter the obstacle God will see us through.

The means of salvation is Jesus, foretold and prophesied confirming Him as the Son of God. Even though we are saved by grace, we must take responsibility for our salvation because it is our decision to reach out, believe, and accept. Also, we choose everyday to submit to God, choosing our salvation each day.

Expect restoration from God. Divine restoration brings the following:- More than we can ever imagine- Healing to our bodies and health- Healing to our minds and emotions- Restored time, opportunities, and callings- Restored relationships

If you are a Christian, you can overcome any temptation. If you have the life of God in you, you have the fruit of self-control. It is important to remember that in the end it is our choice to overcome sin. It is our responsibility.

The fields are ripe for harvest to reach people for Jesus. Believe we can reach people now. Let your light shine for Jesus. There is a fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit to those who will say, "Lord send me," and signs and miracles will follow, all for the growth of the Kingdom of God.

Every step in our spiritual journey is a walk of faith. Even Jesus walked in faith that His Father would answer. We grow in faith by learning more about God and applying our faith every day, in the moment.

Brother Saint Clair Sterling brought to us a foundational message of our Evangelical faith about The Five Solas. The Bible is authored by God, our salvation is in Christ alone, we trust in Jesus alone, our salvation is only available by grace alone, not works, to the glory of God alone.

Brother Edwards from Wales brings us a powerful message about the freedom that is available in Jesus. Jesus is the one that breaks the chains of sin and delivers us from evil. It is time for God's people to be free.

The disciples worshipped Jesus for the first time when He saved them in the storm. There is something about going through a storm that causes us to worship Him. If your faith is anchored, you will not move during the storm. God is our way out of the storm. God is still God in all circumstances, regardless of people's beliefs. God is God and He spoke everything in existence, but with man He used His hands and His breath. That touch from God is what our souls will continuously long for. God wants to have a relationship with us and He wants to be our anchor in the storm.

There are things in our lives that are trying to distract us from the Glory of God. We must fight intentionally to be in His glory. It takes discipline and effort for us to get in the glory, but nothing else will satisfy us like the glory of God. The glory will protect, comfort, lead, provide, bless, sanctify, and give us life, but we must fight for it just like Moses did.

We should have the thoughts and feelings of God's heart. When we know and understand His will, plan, and purpose, we can see what God sees. This is stepping into God's world view and out of our own. It is all about committing ourselves, our spirituality, to the righteous purposes of God. The world needs to see a demonstration of the fruit through us to show the love of God.

God wants to pour out His glory in our home. According to the Lord, when our houses are in order, the glory of God will fill our homes, bringing hope, happiness, and blessing. The glory will be poured out in our actual physical dwelling place, on our families, our relationships, our responsibilities, and our realms of influence. In order for God to pour out His glory in our home, we must surrender our rule in our home to God.

The person that lives apart from God, will regard the things of God as foolish. However, the Spirit of God draws people through us. It's important that we show our religion, the outward demonstration of our faith, through actions and deeds. As we do this, our spirituality grows, and we are moved to action by the Spirit to spread the gospel to others.

When the circumstances of life make you feel squeezed, encourage yourself in the Lord. The righteous cry, and the Lord delivers us from all trouble. When we are weak, God makes us strong. Encourage yourself in the Lord before making important decisions and you can also encourage others.

In this first part of a new series on spirituality, Pastor Coon talks about the difference between worldly spirituality and Biblical spirituality. Worldly spirituality wants to remove Jesus, the Bible, and prayer from the public, which Biblical spirituality is based on scripture and Jesus. Do not rely on your feelings, but put your faith in God.

This evening, Pastor Weymouth, preached on God's glory. God wants us to pour out his glory on us and it is available for everyone. We must keep our minds on God and worship Him. When we continue to worship Him we can expect God to show up and pour out his glory. Give God the glory and he will give His glory.

Today, we had the privilege of hearing Pastor Saint Clair Sterling and Teen Challenge talk about the work they are doing in Sussex County, Delaware. Addiction touches each of our lives and Teen Challenge is ministering to those who desperately need Jesus. Jesus is the cure for all that we go through, including addiction.

Those that go through hardship and pain will be blessed if they continue to walk in God's will. Paul did many things while being persecuted, even writing Biblical books while in jail. The Lord gives us the power to go through our suffering and pain, so that we can then comfort others, and be a witness for Christ.

Evil people produce more evil, but good people produce more good. Jesus saw Zacchaeus in the tree and Jesus knew that if Zacchaeus would give His heart to God, it would impact the community greatly for good. We need to be sensitive to others that are in need because it'll impact more people. Think about the bigger picture, because how can others believe if they never hear the gospel?

We, as disciples of Christ, have power over all the enemy, through the authority of Jesus. Through the name of Jesus, we have authority. The Holy Spirit equips us to do the impossible, through the anointing authority of the Holy Spirit. Bless the name of Jesus.

Whatever you do in life, do so to the glory of God. Make your life and this day a praise to God. We must pray and praise without ceasing. Bless the Lord at all times; His name shall continually be in my mouth. When life is stressful or scary, give praise in all things.

The faith of Noah, Joseph, and the three Hebrew children was not easy, but their faith made the impossible possible. The situation that Mary and Joseph found each other in was not easy in the slightest, but their faith allowed the coming of the Messiah. In our own lives, our faith isn't easy, but it makes a way for us to overcome.

Many times we focus on what has been given to us during Christmas, but we must also think about what we can give the Lord, during Christmas. We must give ourselves back to the Lord as a holy sacrifice. We must give our families to the Lord and protect them from evil influences. Lastly, we must give the gift of salvation to others, the greatest gift of all this holiday season.

Luke stresses the priority of prayer in Jesus's life. Prayer came before the blessing of the Holy Spirit. Each major decision in Jesus's life came after a session of deep prayer and we should do the same. Jesus even prayed before He chose His disciples and before He taught His disciples how to pray. Lastly, He prayed before being arrested, and used His final breath to pray to His father.

We must serve the church cheerfully, not out of obligation, but with joy in our heart. We must care for one another and understand how important we are to each other. We must be willing to take up the responsibility of the church and be a part of the body of Christ. We must take a stand in our homes, take a stand in our lives, and be willing to be brave in enemy territory.

We must be willing to do the work for Jesus. God will bless those that are willing and obedient. We need to put ourselves in a place for God to use us, however, it is God's mercy and will in how he uses us. One of the most important works of God that we can all do is pray. Prayer works, takes effort, and is the background of the church.

We are responsible for the church. The House of God must be a house of prayer, praise, preparation, power, and participation. A giving spirit is incredibly important for a church's success. We must make every effort to add to our faith, growing in Christ, which makes our participation effective. Whatever we do, it should be evident to all by the way of results. Reach the lost, our community, and the world.

Because we love the Lord, we can love others. Because we love Jesus, we will love the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. The Holy Spirit is called to be right beside us and an advocate for us. Jesus said He was going to send us the Holy Spirit,and we must love the Spirit just as much as Jesus. Love the Holy Spirit, be in love with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit loves you, and the Holy Spirit is in love with You.

Praise is not easy at times. God delights in our sacrifice of praise because it shows He is important to us. Our praise lifts us up above our circumstances. Praise shows us what our priorities are. We praise God because it brings honor to Him and builds our faith. Make it a personal challenge to praise God more throughout the day.

We can only reach our potential with the Presence of God. Our lives are barren without the Presence of God. We must seek and be transformed by the Presence because it is the Presence that changes us. Don't settle for anything else. The Presence of God is the Holy Spirit where we have free and unrestrictive access to the Holy Spirit. Refreshing, revival, joy, and rest all come from the Presence of God. Seek the Presence and see you and your life change.

Psalm 84 There are many valleys that we will go through in our lives, even Christians. Baca means weeping. Those that are righteous and are faithful to God's house during valleys will be blessed. Our strength is in the Lord. We will pass through the Valley of Baca. Things will get better and God will be there for us. On the other side, we can then help others.

In this continuation message on prayer, Pastor Coon encourages us to continue to pray for all things. In intercessory prayer we must begin with praise and worship before we bring our supplications, asking for forgiveness for ourselves and others, and seeking mercy for our world. There are countless things and people we can pray for, including ourselves. It is not selfish to pray for success in our own lives, but we must remember that in all prayer, we must enter and exit prayer with thanksgiving, and pray according to God's will.

When we ask for God's healing, we must first ask in faith in Jesus' name, ask according to His will, and be righteous. God's word is God's will. There have been many people who have done all these things but were not healed. We must accept that it is God's sovereign will that some aren't healed and that we all have an appointed time. Even so, we can't give up hope and believe in the healing power of God. We must keep believing and trust God.

Psalms 102:13 and 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 We are living in the days of the favor of the Lord. The glory of the Lord will be seen in our lives and in the church. This is God's appointed time for God's favor to be poured out upon us. We will see the provisions of God, have the protection of God, see people come back to the Lord, and there will be an outpouring of God's presence in our lives.

We have a new life, a new starting point, when we get saved. As we abide in Jesus, we partake in the life of God, and live in the Spirit. As we partake from the vine of God, we are given a constant, and overflowing partition of grace and love from God. This grace for grace or love for love is given to us, it is not earned, and we can be encouraged that all we have to do is reach out to God in our time of need and he will be there.

Today, Pastor Coon began a sermon series on intercessory prayer. Burdens should drive us to prayer and not worry. When things go awry, worship the Lord. Everything we see or hear can become a praise report or a prayer. Stop complaining and start praying. We must come to God in humility and be open to correction. Our prayers are only as effective as our walk with God.

Evangelist Jonathan Edwards brought to us a great message about breaking the cycle of barrenness. God is always faithful, the impossible can become possible. The time of spiritual blessing has come, a new season. The time of barrenness is over and we must do the following: 1. Sing and worship. This makes change happen. Praise refocuses us on God. 2. Embrace your new season of abundance. 3. Be flexible with God. 4. Don't live in fear, live in faith.

God will reveal the good things of God as we walk with Him and that goodness of God and the Holy Spirit gives us peace. The peace of God cannot be matched by anything else in this world. We can have peace despite of everything happening around us. Lay your burdens down at the feet of Jesus and have the peace of God.

How much time are we spending in prayer? Are we asking for forgiveness because we aren't spending enough time in prayer? When there are things happening in our world that bothers us, our first instinct should be to go to the Lord in prayer, not to debate, complain, or discuss. Prayer is best learned by actually praying and the best time to pray is now. We shouldn't forget to praise God, even during the difficult times.

A lot of people are living in fear who don't know Jesus. There are a lot of very small fears and phobias that people have now days. When we separate from God, the devil creates fear in our lives. Fear comes from sin, but Jesus' love breaks all fear. The creator of the universe loves each of us individually and with that love there is no fear. Perfect love casts out all fear. Receiving Jesus as our savior frees us from all fear because we have the assurance of where we stand with God. Accept Jesus and be free of fear.

In this final installment of the Activating Change series of messages by Roland Coon, we continue to talk about forgiveness and Biblical body language. There should always be continuous change as we live for God and long to please Him. We must take the Word of God and apply it to what we do, think, hear, and speak. Take only level and firm paths in your life that are rooted in the firm foundation of the Word of God. We have to change the way God wants us to change, humble ourselves, let go of our ego, and obey God.

There is a change in the spiritual atmosphere. We are living in the last days. We have to have the joyful calmness of patience that comes from knowing the Lord in the last days. We must contend for the joy and peace of God, the calm delight of the Lord. The Lord allows us to be settled in our mind and not let the perplexity of the world bother us.

Change in our lives comes from applying God's word in every circumstance in our lives. We must walk, be led by, and keep in step with the Spirit. Forgiveness is needed for continuous change in our lives. Forgive as the Lord has forgiven you. Scripture: Galatians 5:16-25 Matthew 6:9-15 Luke 23:34

Jesus gave us two commandments, love the Lord and love your neighbors. We should prioritize what God thinks before we prioritize what others think. We must view our culture through the eyes of God and not the other way around. We need to be more sensitive to God. After that, our love for others should be obvious to everyone we come into contact with.

September 29, 2024 - AM Sermon - Bill Jeynes - Blessed Hope 1 Cor. 15:50-58 Our hope is in the return of Jesus, Our Blessed Hope. There might be chaos, but Jesus is coming back. So often our victory happens when there seems to be just a small amount of hope. God's definition of hope is Jesus and the Word of God. Whatever our situation is, we have hope.

Evangelist Jonathan Edwards preaches a great sermon about the Prosperity of the Soul. The prosperity of the soul leads to a prosperous life. We must give attention to our soul, the real us. We must make good choices because our choices are what impacts our soul. The three keys to a prosperous soul are: 1. Putting the Word of God first in our life, the final authority. 2. Soak in the presence of God, walking in the Spirit. 3. Speak life not death over yourself and others.

Jesus has given us the blessing of God's grace on Calvary. We are who we are because of the grace of God. God's grace is sufficient. We can not earn God's grace, it is given to us because of the cross. We must remember that accessing the presence of God gives God a chance to work. Remember, God's grace supplies all our needs.

Is change a one a one-time thing or an ongoing experience? When we are saved, Jesus comes to live in our hearts, and helps change our outlook on life. That is just the beginning though. No matter how long we are a Christian, we are never done. We are never done with God's work and becoming more like Jesus. It is now up to us to produce the fruit of the Spirit in our lives by clothing ourselves with holiness and spending time with Jesus.

Tonight, Pastor Gerry Hausheer taught on belonging to the body. We are all called to belong to the body of Christ. We are all welcomed. We are all invited and are needed. We matter to God. In the same way, we need to accept everyone into the body of Christ and lift each other up.
