ONE THING: No matter what… God’s GRACE is always >

ONE THING Rahab’s story is a powerful example of how God redeems broken lives. Ask yourself: Where is God calling me to take a courageous step (small or big) of faith today, even if it costs me something?

ONE THING Set your mind on Christ, and trust the LORD with your future.

ONE THING A FAITH WALKER is a disciple-maker, one who follows Jesus, is changed by Jesus, and is committed to the mission of Jesus. “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19 ESV)

ONE THING Run the race! Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. – Hebrews 12:1 (NLT)

Love God, Love Others, Serve the World

ONE THING A new command I give you: Love Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. – 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a (NLT)

Rejoice in His Reign!

ONE THING In what ways is God inviting you to be even more bold in your faith? “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.” -1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (NIV)

ONE THING “… you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.” -1 Thessalonians 1:9b–10 (ESV)

ONE THING Know what you stand for and stand for what you know! Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. – 1 Corinthians 16:13

ONE THING Trust God, Seek God, and Praise God.

ONE THING The New Daniel Diet: Trust God in every circumstance – Honor God by taking a stand – Thank God for his favor. Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. – Ephesians 5:16

ONE THING When your day comes, let this be your victory speech… I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. – 2 Timothy 4:7

ONE THING “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” – John 13:34-35 (NLT)

ONE THING Live passionately here and now, but not for the here and now! Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. – Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)

You must decide how you will respond on the battlefield: will you FREEZE as though you have no hope, or FLEE as though you have no courage, or will you FIGHT as one who is already free?

ONE THING When life is hard and it doesn’t make sense, take comfort, knowing God’s invisible (providential) hand is working in the background.

ONE THING Trust God’s providence during uncertain times, knowing He acts for your good and His glory.

ONE THING “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. - Matthew 6:31-34 (NLT)

Walking in the Spirit

ONE THING Without the Spirit, prayer is merely us talking to ourselves. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. – 1 Corinthians 2:10b-12
