ONE THING Our self-reliance says, “Carry more and depend less.” Jesus says, “Depend more and carry less.”

ONE THING ‘You cannot stay where you are and go with God.” – Henry Blackaby Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” – Jesus (Luke 9:23)

ONE THING Don’t let tomorrow’s worries keep you from today’s obedience. God is responsible for the provision; you’re responsible for the next step!

ONE THING Choose today which altar you will bow to! “How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the Lord is God follow him (God-reliance)! But if Baal is God, then follow him (self-reliance)! But the people were completely silent.”(1 Kings 18:21 NLT)

ONE THING Take time this week to thank a friend(s) God is using in your life to help you grow as a follower of Christ: Thank a friend who speaks truth into your life; Thank a friend who encourages you; Thank a friend who remains loyal; Thank a friend who sharpens you And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. – Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV)

ONE THING The grace of God is greater than the failures that could define us when we truly repent and return to Him.

Love God, Love Others, Serve the World

It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. – 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a (NLT)

Rejoice in His Reign!
