This is a brief story about the events leading up to me giving my life to God as I understand him. When I say brief, I mean very brief in the grand scheme of things. I bounce around a lot from place to place in it, but bare with me.

This is a segment on Step 2. Which is coming to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. The beginning of my story with step 1 which is “We admitted we were powerless over alcohol and that our lives had become unmanageable”. Disclaimer: this podcast is not affiliated with any entity including Alcoholics Anonymous, religious sect, or political system. I wish solely that my story and my guest speakers will help that one addict or alcoholic out there who needs to hear it.

Me and a very dear friend of mine discussing Christianity, her family life and it was a completely random conversation.

I am literally all over the place in this one. But it’s Sunday and I woke up before the sunrise. I go into more of my history in becoming who I am today and how pain made me a believer. This is a bonus episode and I have one more planned for y’all before the 1st season of sobriety is recorded and available. EVERY MONDAY AT 6:45 pm central timing will be a new episode.

I go in to everything from service work, to hatebreed lyrics (obviously which I do not own any rights to, but that meant and still do mean a lot to me. Respect to Jamey Jasta and the band that has truly been a major blessing to me through their words of strength) then I go into a little memorial for my dad (the man that raised me) out of respect and love. Didn’t even cry doing it either. I used to not be able to talk about him and not choke up. Thank you for giving my message or recovery a listen.
