Embodied Awareness: A Somatic Meditation For Deepening Self-Connection
So many of us spend most of our lives stuck in our heads, disconnected from our bodies and a bit removed from what we’re actually feeling. Embodiment offers us a different way of relating to ourselves. When we begin to develop more embodied awareness, we’re able to go deeper in our healing. It gives us a way to regulate and to understand what’s really happening within, including what we actually need to heal. You Don’t Have to Be Perfect: A Parts Work Meditation to Let Go of Perfectionism

But if you struggle with perfectionism, it can feel like you do… Perfectionism can show up as overthinking, harsh self-judgment, or constantly pushing yourself to do better, even when you’re already exhausted. (And even if you cognitively understand where your perfectionism comes from, it can still feel like something that rules your life.) How to Relax When You Can’t Relax | A Somatic Meditation to Settle Your Nervous System

Gentle Breathwork for Deep Relaxation: Humming Bee Breath with A Healing Light Meditation
Deep relaxation can be surprisingly hard to find. This gentle breathwork practice is a simple, soothing way to help your body and mind actually settle. In this episode of Somatic Healing Meditations, I’ll guide you through Humming Bee Breath (Bhramari Pranayama), a beautifully simple yet profoundly healing practice, paired with a gentle healing light meditation. Humming Bee Breath has been studied for its effects on the nervous system and overall well-being. It can help calm the stress response, support immune function, and ease some of the tension your body has been holding. You’re More YOU When You’re Regulated | How Nervous System Healing Helps You Be Your Best Self
✨ You’re more YOU when your nervous system feels safe. In this episode of Somatic Healing Meditations, we’ll explore the neuroscience behind what it really means to be your best self (and how nervous system healing makes that possible). When you're dysregulated, you have less access to your prefrontal cortex, the part of your brain responsible for clarity, compassion, nuanced thought, emotional regulation, and values-based decision making.
