The Life You Didn’t Plan Might Be the One You’re Meant to Live

Have you ever looked at your life and thought, I never saw this coming? In this solo episode, Jill shares how a series of small nudges, unexpected conversations, and repeated encouragement led her from massage therapy and yoga into sound healing, breathwork, podcasting, and now creating guided audio meditations. She explores why the biggest pivots in life rarely begin with certainty, why fear doesn’t always mean “stop,” and how the compliments people consistently give you may actually reveal gifts you’ve overlooked. If you’ve been feeling called toward something new, wondering if it’s too late to reinvent yourself, or talking yourself out of a dream because it feels unfamiliar, this episode is your reminder that the next chapter of your life may begin with something as simple as listening to the whisper instead of the doubt.

The Art of Receiving: Why Accepting Can Be Harder Than Giving with Lauren Jewel

We often hear about the importance of giving, serving, and showing up for others. But what happens when it’s our turn to receive? In this heartfelt episode, Jill sits down with mind-body practitioner Lauren Jewel to explore a challenge that many women quietly struggle with: receiving. Lauren shares a powerful story from a birthday trip to Peru that unexpectedly became one of the greatest lessons of her life. Surrounded by strangers who wanted to celebrate her, honor her, and offer gifts of kindness, she found herself face-to-face with something surprisingly uncomfortable—allowing herself to receive.Together, Jill and Lauren dive into why so many of us have been conditioned to pour into others while feeling guilty, uncomfortable, or even undeserving when love, support, or generosity is directed toward us. They discuss the delicate balance between masculine and feminine energy, how both exist within each of us, and why embracing our feminine energy often requires us to soften, trust, and open ourselves to receiving. This conversation is an invitation to examine where you may be over-giving, over-functioning, or carrying more than your share. It’s a reminder that receiving isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. Whether it’s accepting help, receiving a compliment, allowing someone to care for you, or simply resting without guilt, learning to receive can be one of the most healing practices of all.If you’ve ever struggled to let others show up for you, this episode may be exactly what your heart needs to hear.INFO:Name: Lauren JewelJob title: Trauma-Informed Mind-Body Practitioner — specializing in decoding stress-driven physiology — her work bridges functional nutrition, nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and identity recalibration to create real, sustainable change at the root.Email: [email protected] Media Handles: IG: @Lauren_michelle_jewel FB: https://www.facebook.com/share/1AG9EPzFEn/

The Untold Side of Motherhood: Postpartum, Identity Shifts & Asking for Help with Averie Thayer

Motherhood is often portrayed through soft baby blankets, sweet snuggles, and picture-perfect moments, but what about the parts that aren’t talked about nearly enough? In this week’s episode of Soul Stories with Jill, returning guest Averie Thayer, occupational therapist, retreat co-host, and new mom to a six-month-old baby boy, joins Jill for an honest and heartfelt conversation about the realities of life after bringing a child into the world.Together, they explore the emotional, physical, and mental adjustments that come with becoming a mother. Averie shares her personal experience navigating postpartum life, the invisible responsibilities that often fall on mothers, and the profound identity shift that can occur when caring for a new baby becomes your primary focus. The conversation also touches on the importance of support systems, why so many women feel pressure to “do it all,” and how isolating the postpartum season can be for mothers who don’t have family, friends, or partners nearby to help. Jill and Averie discuss the conversations that need to happen more often, including postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis, and the importance of recognizing when a mother may need additional support. This episode is a reminder that while motherhood can be beautiful, it can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and deeply transformative. Most importantly, it reminds women that they are not alone in what they’re feeling.Whether you’re a new mother, an expecting parent, a grandmother, a partner, or someone who simply wants to better understand the postpartum experience, this conversation offers compassion, validation, and a much-needed look behind the curtain of early motherhood.Join us for a heartfelt discussion about resilience, support, identity, and the often-unspoken realities of one of life’s biggest transitions.INFO:https://www.livingrevivedtherapy.com/Name: Averie ThayerJob title: Occupational Therapist/Owner of Living Revived TherapyEmail: [email protected] Media Handles: Living Revived Therapy or @livingrevivedtherapy

Borrowing Tomorrow While Worry Steals Today

This week on Soul Stories with Jill, we’re exploring something that affects every one of us: worry.Inspired by a simple church sign that stopped me in my tracks, this episode dives into the ways we borrow trouble from tomorrow and miss the beauty of today. Together, we’ll explore why our minds tend to live in the future, how worry impacts the body, and what we can learn from nature about trusting the process.Through stories, reflection, a powerful Cherokee teaching, and an original poem called “Borrowing Tomorrow,” we’ll examine the difference between fear and faith, control and surrender, and worry versus trust. If you’ve ever found yourself replaying conversations that haven’t happened, stressing over outcomes you can’t control, or feeling weighed down by “what ifs,” this episode is for you. What if peace isn’t found in controlling the future, but in fully living the present moment?Take a deep breath, settle in, and join me for a conversation about worry, trust, and the freedom that comes when we stop carrying tomorrow today.

Sliding Doors: The Moments That Changed Everything

Have you ever stopped and wondered how different your life might look if one small moment had gone another way?In this deeply reflective episode of Soul Stories with Jill, Jill explores the idea of “sliding door moments” inspired by the film Sliding Doors starring Gwyneth Paltrow. The movie centers around one seemingly insignificant moment, whether a woman catches a train or misses it, and how that single moment creates two completely different versions of her life.Through personal storytelling and heartfelt reflection, Jill dives into the many “what if” moments we all carry. The job opportunities that didn’t happen. The relationships that almost never began. The nights we almost stayed home. The moves we almost didn’t make. The gut feelings we listened to… and the ones we ignored.Jill shares real moments from her own life that changed her path forever, from not getting an airline job that could have completely altered her future, to moving to St. Louis and meeting a dear friend who became an earth angel in her life. She reflects on the night she almost didn’t go out, which ultimately led to meeting her ex-husband, and the intuitive decision not to open a yoga studio despite already investing time, money, and energy into it.This episode is a reminder that life rarely changes in loud, dramatic moments. More often, it changes quietly through tiny decisions, unexpected delays, chance encounters, closed doors, and intuitive whispers that guide us toward a different path.Jill also explores the idea that some disappointments may actually be protection, and that the doors that close can sometimes redirect us toward the life we were truly meant to live.Whether you are reflecting on past choices, navigating uncertainty, or learning to trust your intuition more deeply, this episode invites you to look at your own life through a new lens, not with regret for the paths you didn’t take, but with curiosity, gratitude, and trust for the one you did.Because sometimes the smallest moments end up changing everything.Take a moment after listening to think about your own sliding door moments. The conversations, choices, delays, relationships, and decisions that quietly shifted the course of your life forever. You may realize those moments led you exactly where you were meant to be.Past Episode:https://open.spotify.com/episode/4Z8FMCSroAxPSjgTs9Sp3G?si=r-72HfKPT2iq_YGPCRb52w

Holding On Through the Storm: A Story of Healing and Redemption

This week on Soul Stories with Jill, I sit down with a dear friend I met through the retreat world who shares an incredibly powerful story of loss, resilience, healing, and hope. She is an astrologer, a Level 2 Reiki Master, and someone who has walked through seasons that would have broken many people. After the crash of 2008 turned her world upside down, life continued to hand her one heartbreak after another. From financial loss to devastating family illness and grief, she found herself moving through what many would call a dark night of the soul. But in the middle of the pain, she also discovered healing, purpose, and a version of motherhood she never expected. In this episode, we talk about grief, spirituality, surrender, family, and the ways life can still come together even when it feels like everything is falling apart. Her story is a reminder that even in our hardest seasons, there can still be beauty, meaning, and hope waiting on the other side.If you are walking through loss, uncertainty, heartbreak, or simply a season where life feels heavy, this conversation is for you.Info: https://app.theirstorymatters.com/memorials/7288d221-a024-4281-94f3-c9286e9a64c5

The Story Behind the Dynamic: Love, Power, and a Toxic Relationship

In this episode of Soul Stories with Jill, a guest shares his personal experience of being in a long-term toxic relationship that included a dynamic of kink and BDSM. This conversation is intended for mature audiences and is best listened to after last week’s episode, where Jill spoke with a sex therapist about communication, consent, and healthy dynamics within the world of kink.A key distinction in this episode is that the toxicity was not caused by kink or BDSM, but by the individuals and patterns within the relationship. This story explores how strong attraction and emotional intensity can sometimes blur boundaries and make it difficult to recognize when something is no longer healthy.Through this honest conversation, listeners are invited to reflect on their own relationships, trust their intuition, and recognize the importance of communication, boundaries, and self-worth.Stephen's Information:Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/stephen_sapereaude/Website - https://vft23.com/LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/seemiraclesStephen's Book - https://vft23.com/venus-fly-trap-books/Listener's Complimentary Copy of Book:https://bit.ly/3Zyj3Wt

Trust, Consent and Connection: Rethinking the World of Kink

In this episode of Soul Stories with Jill, Jill sits down once again with sex therapist & founder of Infinite Intimacy, Rachel Smith, for an open and honest conversation around a topic that many people are curious about, but don’t always feel comfortable talking about. This episode was inspired by an upcoming story on the podcast, where a guest shares his experience in a long term toxic relationship that included BDSM within their dynamic. It brought up questions, curiosity, and a desire to better understand what BDSM actually is, beyond the assumptions and misconceptions that often surround it.Together, Jill and Rachel explore what BDSM really means, the importance of consent and communication, and how, when approached in a safe and intentional way, it can actually deepen trust and connection within a relationship. They also talk about the difference between healthy exploration and harmful dynamics, and how to recognize the signs of each. This conversation is not about pushing boundaries for the sake of it. It is about understanding yourself, honoring your desires, and creating a space where communication, trust, and emotional safety come first.Rachel SmithJob title: Sex Therapist and Intimacy Coach, Founder of Infinite Intimacy Email: [email protected]Social handles: @InfiniteIntimacyTherapy Relatable Past Episodes:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/soul-stories-with-jill/id1714550571?i=1000644479927https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/soul-stories-with-jill/id1714550571?i=1000647383200Workbook:https://infiniteintimacytherapy.mykajabi.com/Lets-talk-about-sex-communication-guide

When Love Requires Distance: Recovery, Boundaries, and a Daughter’s Healing

In this deeply honest and emotional conversation, Jill sits down with her friend Stacy Bennett to explore the layered journey of recovery, grief, and healing. Stacy shares her story of growing up in a home shaped by addiction, and the strength it took to eventually choose a different path for her own life. They talk about what it means to break cycles, to choose sobriety, and to build a life rooted in awareness and intention. Stacy opens up about the difficult but necessary boundaries she had to place with her mother, and the complexity of loving someone while also protecting yourself. One of the most tender parts of this episode is Stacy’s reflection on her mother’s passing. After time and distance between them, her mother died alone, and Stacy vulnerably shares the grief, guilt, and heartbreak that followed. She also speaks to the profound release she experienced during a recent retreat, where she was finally able to process and soften some of that pain. This conversation is a reminder that healing is not linear. It is messy, human, and deeply personal. It is also a testament to the courage it takes to choose yourself, to hold boundaries, and to find compassion both for others and for your own journey. If you have ever navigated complicated family dynamics, grief, or the path of recovery, this episode will meet you with understanding and truth.Staci BennettIntuitive chef, sound healer, reiki/holy Fire reiki master, and breath work facilitatorSocials:https://www.facebook.com/staci.l.bennett?mibextid=wwXIfr&mibextid=wwXIfrEmail:[email protected]

April Fool’s Day: The Joke, The Jinx, and the Stories We Believe

This episodee felt like a fun one to release on April Fool’s Day, but like most things, it turned into a little more than just laughter. We talk about where April Fool’s Day is believed to have started and how it turned into a tradition of pranks, jokes, and questioning everything you hear. I share some of the most well known pranks that have happened over the years and how easy it is to believe something when it’s delivered with confidence.I also share a few playful ideas and moments that remind me just how fun and harmless a good prank can be… and how quickly things can feel real before we even stop to question them. From stories on the massage table to everyday life, the body always tells the truth before the mind catches up. And even on a day meant for joking, there’s still that little voice that says don’t say it out loud… what if you jinx it and it actually happens. This episode is light, playful, and also a gentle reminder to not take life so seriously, to laugh a little more, and to become aware of the stories we believe every single day.Take what resonates, leave the rest… and maybe keep your guard up just a little today.

This week’s conversation is one of those that really makes you pause and reflect on the stories you’ve been telling yourself… and whether they’re actually serving you.I’m joined by my friend Kim Drescoll, a Transformational Leadership Coach & Breathwork Facilitator. We explore what it looks like to consciously choose the stories you hold on to and the ones you’re ready to release. There are so many aha moments in this episode as we unpack how we tend to overcomplicate life, when in truth, things can begin to feel lighter and more aligned when we allow ourselves to just be.We also get into what happens when we outsource our worth and our purpose, and how powerful it is to bring that back home to ourselves. This conversation is a reminder that you are not stuck, you are not limited, and you get to choose how your life feels. If this episode spoke to you, I would love for you to share it with someone who might need to hear it too. Sharing the Light: Reflections from the ARC Retreat

This episode is a heartfelt reflection from the final ARC Retreat and the unexpected release I experienced while serving as a facilitator.I share what it’s really like to hold space for others and then find yourself cracking open too. The guilt that can creep in when you’re the one “working” the retreat but also needing the medicine. The realization that healing is never one-sided. When we gather with intention, every single person in the space is being moved, shifted, and softened in some way.I talk about the beauty of the weekend. The perfect weather. The saltwater pool. Slipping in and out of the water between sessions, letting the sun and salt do their quiet work on my nervous system. The sacred in-between moments that remind us we are not machines. We are human. We feel. We release. Most of all, this episode is about light. What would happen if each of us went home and simply shared our light? If we healed our little corner of the world. If we stopped trying to fix everything globally and instead focused on loving well locally. There will always be darkness. But the more light we embody and share, the brighter this world becomes. This conversation is an invitation to release what you’re holding, to let yourself receive even when you’re the one who usually gives, and to shine right where you are.If this episode resonates, share it with someone who needs a reminder that their light matters.

All Things Hormones: The Conversations Women Are Really Having

In this episode, Jill sits down with her friend Michelle, a hairdresser, for an honest and relatable conversation about hormones, aging, and the changes so many women are experiencing, often without clear answers. Between the massage table and the salon chair, Jill and Michelle are hearing the same concerns from women every day: low energy, stubborn weight, sleep issues, mood changes, brain fog, and that feeling that something just isn’t right. They talk about how common these conversations have become, why so many women were never taught what to expect as their hormones shift, and the importance of getting your hormones checked instead of dismissing symptoms as “just part of getting older.” This episode is a reminder that women aren’t imagining these changes, and they don’t have to navigate them alone. If this episode resonates with you, share it with a friend who needs to know she’s not alone. These conversations matter, and the more we have them, the more empowered we become.

Because We Showed Up: A Conversation on Courage, Gratitude, and Becoming

This episode is a thank you.It is a thank you to the women who show up, to the women who say yes to themselves before they know where it will lead, and to the women whose courage quietly gives others permission to do the same.In this conversation, I sit down with Vaughn Pierro, someone who has been pivotal in changing the trajectory of my life.Vaughn and I begin this episode simply showering each other with love and gratitude, reflecting on how our paths crossed at a retreat where neither of us knew anyone. We talk about what it meant to show up for ourselves in those moments, to take a step into the unknown, and then to do it again. That second yes mattered.Seeing each other again at another retreat gave me the courage to reach out when I saw Vaughn hosting her own retreat. I remember thinking, I’m close, I can help, maybe I’m supposed to reach out. That simple act of showing up and offering support completely changed the direction of my life starting in 2022.Since then, I’ve worked alongside Vaughn at every one of her retreats, and together we’ve been able to witness each other grow, stretch, and step more fully into our callings. That kind of shared growth is a rare and beautiful blessing. This conversation is about how fear never truly leaves us. It is about how courage is built by taking the step anyway. How consistency in showing up creates trust within yourself. And how one woman’s willingness to move through fear can give others the green light to do the same in their own lives. If you’ve ever felt the nudge to attend a retreat, reach out to someone, or take a step that feels scary but aligned, this episode is for you.Sometimes all it takes is showing up once. And then having the courage to show up again.Previous Episodes With Vaughn…https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/soul-stories-with-jill/id1714550571?i=1000638431348https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/soul-stories-with-jill/id1714550571?i=1000641168074

Between the New Years: Releasing the Old and Entering a Year One with Intention

As we step into a new calendar year, there is a powerful and often overlooked window of time between January 1st and the Chinese New Year. This sacred pause invites reflection, release, and conscious intention. In today’s episode, I invite you to slow down and use this space wisely. Before rushing forward, we take time to look back, not with judgment, but with awareness. This is a moment to ask yourself what you are no longer willing to carry into 2026.We explore the importance of purging emotionally, energetically, mentally, and physically, and why writing down what you are ready to release is just as important as setting goals. Clarity comes when we make space.Numerologically, 2026 is a Year One. It is a year of beginnings, fresh starts, leadership, and new cycles. True beginnings require conscious endings. I share what a Year One represents and how to align yourself with its energy so you are not dragging old patterns into a brand new chapter. We also dive into the upcoming Chinese New Year on February 17th, when we move from the wisdom and shedding energy of the Snake into the bold, passionate, and action oriented Fire Horse. This shift marks a powerful change in momentum, from introspection to movement and from quiet knowing to courageous action.I share how these energies correlate, what they may stir within you, and how to prepare yourself so you can meet the Fire Horse grounded, clear, and aligned rather than scattered or burned out. This episode is an invitation to honor the in between, to reflect, release, reset, and step forward intentionally. You do not have to rush. You simply have to be honest.

From releasing old patterns and resentments to decluttering our homes and schedules, this episode explores how letting go creates space for peace and clarity.Jill also shares insight into the energetic shift we are experiencing as we move from a nine year and the Year of the Snake, a time of completion and shedding, into a one year and the Year of the Horse, symbolizing fresh beginnings, forward movement, and renewed energy. This episode is an invitation to pause, soften, and intentionally step into the New Year with a lighter heart, clearer vision, and deeper awareness. A Little Bit of This & That: Simple Wellness Habits That Make a Big Difference

In this short and uplifting episode of Soul Stories with Jill, I’m sharing a handful of simple wellness habits that can make a surprisingly big impact on your daily life. These are practices I’ve learned through massage therapy, holistic healing, and nearly two decades of working with the body — and they’re beautifully easy to start right away.I talk about why sleeping on your back can protect your joints and support deeper rest, and how side-sleeping can put unnecessary pressure on four major areas of the body. From there, I walk you through the benefits of dry brushing, a quick and energizing way to support your lymphatic system and exfoliate the skin. I also share why rebounding, even just a few minutes on a mini trampoline, can boost lymph flow, elevate your mood, and strengthen your core without stressing your joints. To wrap up, I cover one of the most overlooked daily habits, brushing or scraping your tongue. It’s a simple practice with powerful effects on detoxification, immunity, and oral health. This is a gentle, wellness-filled grab bag of tiny habits that make your body feel loved, supported, and energized. If you try any of these, I’d love to hear how they help you. Thank you for tuning in and for being a part of Soul Stories with Jill. I’ll be back next week with a deeper conversation as we move closer to the holiday season.Links for some of these wellness tools:https://a.co/d/2JAGj4F - Mini Trampolinehttps://a.co/d/eoKZTun - Tongue Scraperhttps://a.co/d/8lZmeX9 - Compression Sockshttps://a.co/d/7qIiEQO - Dry Brush Set

In this episode of Soul Stories with Jill, I sit down with my friend Michelle to share the story of our unforgettable surprise trip with Pack Up + Go, the travel company that plans your entire getaway and sends you on a mystery adventure. We didn’t know where we were headed until the morning we left, and the moment we arrived, we instantly fell in love with Greenville, South Carolina. It quickly became one of our favorite cities we’ve ever visited, so much so that we’re seriously considering spending Christmas there instead of Chattanooga. We talk about the moment we checked into the breathtaking Grand Bohemian Lodge, a hotel that was every bit as beautiful and luxurious as we hoped. We share our experience of having a relaxing spa day, the joy of slowing down, and how it gave us exactly the reset we both needed. We also dive into the amazing dinners we enjoyed at three fantastic restaurants, each one memorable in its own way and a highlight of the trip.Throughout the episode, we reflect on what it felt like to simply show up and enjoy a perfectly curated vacation without having to plan a single detail. We also talk about the deeper value of taking time to travel with a close friend, laughing, exploring, creating memories, and remembering how important it is to make space for fun, connection, and experiences that fill your soul. This episode is full of friendship, travel inspiration, and our shared love for a city we can’t wait to visit again. From Praying for Death to Leading a Nationwide Good Contractors Movement: John Stewart Hill’s Story of Redemption.

In this week’s episode of Soul Stories with Jill, Jill sits down with a man whose story is nothing short of miraculous. John Stewart Hill reached out through an app that matches storytellers with podcasts based on the message they want to share. He typed in his story, and Soul Stories with Jill came up as a nine out of ten match. That alone affirmed that this conversation was meant to happen.John’s journey is one of the most powerful stories shared on this podcast. There was a time in his life when he prayed and asked God to take him because he felt finished. He  had been divorced three times, living with his girlfriend, convinced he had no purpose left, no direction, and nothing to look forward to. He didn’t believe he would ever amount to anything. Life felt heavy, empty, and hopeless. But everything changed when he had a heart attack. What initially looked like a grim medical situation turned into the beginning of a miracle. Although he had been praying for God to take him, he felt God say, ‘If you choose to stay, I will be with you and give you a purpose.’The doctors not only saved his life, God kept His promise and gave John that purpose. He began building a company from scratch with the mission of helping people and serving communities. Ten years later, that company has grown so much that it has now been bought and is going nationwide. His dream, his purpose, and his promise have become bigger than he ever imagined.John later received a heart transplant, and that experience shifted his perspective yet again. He now shares his story not just to inspire, but to spread awareness and hope, reminding people that purpose can rise out of the lowest and darkest moments. His gratitude for life, for second chances, and for the people who helped him along the way is powerful and deeply moving. This episode is the perfect story to lead us into Thanksgiving. John’s journey is a reminder that there is always something to be thankful for, even in seasons of hardship and heartbreak. It is a story about purpose. About redemption. About divine timing. And about what can happen when you decide to live the life you were created for.Jill invites listeners to lean in closely, because John’s testimony is one that stays with you long after the episode ends!Email [email protected] www.TheGoodContractorsList.com

100 Episodes In: What Creativity, Courage, and Service Have Taught Me

In this milestone 100th episode of Soul Stories with Jill, Jill reflects on the journey she began two years ago without any idea of where it would lead. What started as a simple spark has grown into a deeply meaningful space of storytelling, connection, and service. Jill shares how creating weekly episodes not only stretched her beyond her comfort zone but also awakened a creative spark within her that continues to grow. She talks about the listeners who have reached out over the years to say that a certain story touched them or helped them, and how those messages reminded her of the true purpose behind this podcast. Jill opens up about a recent guest who found her through an app that matches storytellers with podcasts, and how being marked as a nine out of ten match affirmed that she is exactly where she’s meant to be.Jill explores the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone, following the nudge to try something new, and allowing yourself to create simply because something inside you wants to. She believes that creating sparks more creating. That creativity is part of why we’re here. And that offering what we create is one of the most beautiful ways we can serve others. This episode invites listeners to reflect deeply on their own stories, their own creativity, and the ways they might be called to step into something new. Jill ends the episode with gentle reflection questions and a closing poem to inspire listeners to keep creating, keep sharing, and keep becoming who they’re meant to be.

Boundaries and the Holidays: Choosing Peace Over Pressure

After more than seventeen years of working with people through massage and energy work, I’ve seen one common struggle come up again and again: boundaries.Boundaries in relationships, in work, in self-care, and especially during the holidays. This is the season when invitations, family gatherings, and expectations can easily pull us in a hundred directions. For many of us, that brings guilt or the feeling that we “should” say yes, even when every part of us is craving rest or space. In this episode, I dive deep into the truth about boundaries, why they can feel so hard to set if you’ve never had them before, why they sometimes upset others when you start honoring them, and how essential they are for your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.You’ll also hear reminders and practical tools for staying grounded this holiday season, giving yourself permission to pause, and remembering that peace is something you can choose, not something you have to earn. One of the most powerful takeaways from this conversation is that setting boundaries may feel uncomfortable at first, but that discomfort is a sign of growth, not selfishness. The way people react to your boundaries says more about their expectations than your worth. Sometimes, the most loving thing you can do for yourself and others, is to pause, say no, or change traditions when something no longer feels aligned. This episode is for anyone feeling drained or spread too thin by obligations, for those carrying guilt around saying no, or anyone ready to create more space for peace, rest, and authenticity. Take a deep breath, exhale the pressure, and join me for an honest conversation about what it really means to protect your peace through healthy, loving boundaries.

It Takes a Village: The Power of Vision, Support, and Strong Women

In this episode of Soul Stories with Jill, I’m talking about what it really means when we say it takes a village. Because honestly, none of us do this life alone. Every dream, every idea, every little thing that comes to life happens because of the people who show up and help us make it happen.I share about my friend’s partner that helped me in all things building and creating, Steven, who has helped bring so much of Wellness Farmhouse to life. He’s built my greenhouses, installed the sauna, the cold plunge, the hot tub, the walkways, the canopy out back, and even the vanities upstairs. I couldn’t have done any of it without him. He’s taken my vision and just gone with it without questioning a thing, and I’m forever grateful for that. Then I talk a little about what’s coming up next on the podcast. I’ve been thinking about all the strong, inspiring women I’ve had the chance to work for and work with over the years, women who are out there building, creating, leading, and doing the damn thing. I’m so excited to start bringing some of them on the show to share their stories and the journeys that got them where they are today. This episode is really about gratitude for the people who build alongside us, believe in us, and help bring our dreams to life. Because it truly does take a village. If you’re local & need a handy man, contact Steven with… Get It Together(719) 207-0000
