(Philippians 3:1-16) - Certain teachers were saying that anyone who desired to be saved must follow the legalistic code given - to the Jews in order to gain a righteous standing before God. Paul presented his own personal example - to prove the futility of putting confidence in human works for achieving merit before a holy God.
