Welcome to Kailas yatra trek again, and we start for Mansarovar parikrama. Its 90 kimi long and buses drop us at a point mid way. Where we have full 02 days stay. Its the area of tremendous energy and divine activities and we were fortunate enough to have stayed there. Next episode will be last of this yatra where I tell you other details and our return journey. Welcome again !! Lets start Kailas parikrama. Its almost 40 km trek. We start from Darchen via bus upto Yam Dwar and parikrama starts from here. From south to west and then we stay beside Kailas north face. We cross Dolma at night and then stay  at Kugu the next day. We again reachen Darchen and then depart to Mansarovar. Purang is a 02 days stop, and on the auspicious day of Monday falls Somvati Amavasya and we get darshan of Kailas and bath in the holy waters of Mansarovar. We report for medicals at ITBP Gunji, all yatris are cleared, but most are advised to hire pony and porters. The very next day we start for Navidhang via Kalapani, the origin of river Kali. Here are temples of Mata Kali, lord Hanuman and are maintained by ITBP. The camp at Navidhang is adjacent to Om Parvat. You can also trek to Adi Kailas from Gunji. We start at night and reach Lipulekh pass in the morning. In next episode I will tell the journey to Kailas. Om Namah Shivay ... I welcome you all on Kailas yatra again. Today we start our trek from Tawaghat near Dharchula to Sirkha. Sirkha is a mesmerizing campsite, and from here, we move to Gala, Budhi and Gunji, on a four days trek. The route is beautiful, though a bit difficult at times with lots of ups and downs. Gunji is a cold place with brisk winds welcome you, and is a two days stop. So be with me on this trek, to get a real feel, you have to listen though. Today is Aug.15 and we leave for Kailas, So a big Volvo bus is arranged, and with the chants of Har-Har Mahadev, Bus starts. Stopping at various points we reach Kathgodam, and then via two buses, the climb to hill starts. We reach Almora via Kainchi Dham, and stay there. Next day we reach Dharchula by the banks of river Kali. So stay tuned to hear all of it in detail. We start our trek from the next segment, so be with me... Har - Har Mahadev. As I mentioned in Podcast details, Spiritual Journeys will take you to the holy shrines and treks, not just in Himalayas, but to other shrines, and places as well. Here I will not only narrate my Spiritual Journeys, but also the similar journeys and treks did by my friends through their interviews. On the auspicious month of Shravan, I start my journey. My destination is Kailas Mansarovar, yatra I did in 2014 via Kumaon Uttarakhand route. The language is Hindi... I intend to release episodes every two weeks, but they may be earlier or delayed as I am not starting it just for the sake of it, to engage audience by any means. This Podcast means me very much, and you just don't do it for routine.
