Matthew 26:16-20. Steve shared about the background of the Great Commission and what it means for us today

Being good stewards and generous with the money God has given us , so that we can be a blessing with this important part of our lives. 2 Corinthians chapter 9:6 - 15.

Based on Matthew 6:25-34 where Jesus teaches us to trust Him with all of our cares and worries and to seek Him first and He will take care of us.

In this message Carl shares from Matthew 13:31-34 on how as the Church one of our roles is to scatter Kingdom seeds in as many ways we can, particularly concentrating on the power of our words to bring life or death.

Carl focuses on Luke 24 where the risen Jesus meets two disciples on the Emmaus Road and fills them with joy and amazement.

Dan walked us through the narrative of Palm Sunday, and how Jesus surprises the people who should have known him best - and how if we squeeze Jesus into our box of understanding, we can misunderstand him too.

Sarah talks through the story of Lazarus, and explains how Jesus is with us, even in our grief.

Carl thinks about Jesus as the Good Shepherd and how he nurtures us.

Dan takes us through the story of the Woman At The Well from John 4 and looks at how Jesus invites us to be truly known, and what it means when He invites us to know him.

As we start Lent, Carl takes us through the story of Jesus' temptation in the wilderness and how we can overcome the temptations of the enemy by imitating Him.

This talk is about looking outwards, sharing our faith and believing in the transforming power of Jesus for others.

Dan talks us through why community is an integral part of the vision of the church in Whipton.

Dan talks us through the wonderful and complex imagery of Revelation 4-7, and points out that only Jesus is worthy, yet we can be made worthy because of his death on the cross.

Dan gives another angle on the familiar story of the Good Samaritan challenging us that we are the broken person on the roadside and Jesus is the Good Samaritan who wants to fix our brokenness

Charles talks through the Prodigal Son and explains how we might identify with the prodigal or the older son and respond to God's love for us

Share about their vision of giving the bible to everyone in their own language. They have teams all over the world working to translate the bible into local language and tell stories of the difference that makes when people hear it in their own language.

Carl explains the background to the writing of the gospel of Luke and Acts and uses Acts 2 to engage the church in thinking about what happened when the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples and they were speaking in other tongues.

Carl talks about building a habit of service using Philippians 2 and Jesus' example to think about why and how we should be people with servant hearts.

Dan talks about moving towards living an uncluttered life with Jesus

How we look after each other as God's Family

Dan starts our new series on thriving as God's family by looking at Ephesians 2 and explaining how we fit into the family of God.

Carl reads through Ephesians 5:8-20 and explains how proper worship in the power of the Spirit can encourage us and each other.

Dan talks us through Romans 8 and how we can be led by the Holy Spirit in our prayer life.

Carl encourages us to hold both the word (the Bible) and the Spirit together, not pursuing one and ignoring the other, so that we might grow deeper in our relationship with God.
