Doing mission in demanding times doesn't require you to be crazy or to dream, but it helps. In a time of powerful emperors and rulers, a dream was given to John the Baptist in the desert. From an obscure place, the way was prepared for Jesus. That was the encouraging word proclaimed to us by Rev. Dora. They are on a knife's edge in Cuba, literally unsure of what the next day will bring. And yet she proclaimed God's Word with confidence and conviction. We are living in demanding times. And yet we dare to move forward with faith in God's Word.

Our world has replaced optimism with cynicism, but the resurrection has given us hope. Resurrection is looking forward to a future that God has created for us, so look to the future with confidence.
